The Grey Towers Castle is a building on the campus of Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania, which is located in Cheltenham Township, a suburb of Philadelphia, United States. The castle was designed by Horace Trumbauer and built starting in 1893 on the estate of William Welsh Harrison. The university (then known as Beaver College and located in nearby Jenkintown) purchased the estate in 1929 for $712,500, equal to $12,142,878 today. Classes were split between the two locations until 1962, when the school moved all of its operations to the Glenside area. The castle was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1985 for its architecture.

This is attributed to the land area consisting mostly of college dormitories. Errny Field is a baseball field at Mount Pleasant Avenue and Michener Street in the West Oak Lane neighborhood of Philadelphia. It is adjacent to the former site of Temple Stadium. Erny Field was the home field of the Arcadia University baseball team from 2004 until 2017. The Temple University baseball team played its home games at the baseball field from 1927 until 2003. The field is named for Charles Erny (1889-1963) a benefactor of Temple University and its athletic program.

Cheltenham High School is a public high school in the Wyncote neighborhood of Cheltenham Township, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, located 0.5 miles (800 m) from the border of the City of Philadelphia and 12 miles (19 km) from Center City. Serving grades 9 through 12, Cheltenham is the only high school in the School District of Cheltenham Township. It is fed by Cedarbrook Middle School, the only school in the school district for grades 7 and 8. Cheltenham High School was established in 1884 and is one of the oldest public high schools in Pennsylvania. The first location was on Ashbourne Road, and at the time of its closing in 1953, it was considered the oldest public school site in continuous use. The next building was at High School Road and Montgomery Avenue in Elkins Park. The current Cheltenham High School located at 500 Rices Mill Road in Wyncote was built in 1959. It sits on a land area of approximately 47 acres, and is bound by Route 309, Route 152, Panther Road, Rices Mill Road, Carlton Avenue, and Old Mill Road. In 2017–18 the student ethnicity was distributed as follows: 54% Black, 31% White, 8% Asian, and 5% Hispanic. Temple Stadium was a stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It opened in 1928 and hosted the Temple University Owls football team until they moved to Veterans Stadium in 1978. It was located on a 32-acre (130,000 m2) area in the West Oak Lane neighborhood of the city bounded by Cheltenham Avenue, Vernon Road, Michener Avenue, and Mt. Pleasant Avenue. The football stadium stood on one end of the site; the baseball and softball diamonds stood on the other. The football stadium had seating for approximately 20,000 people; mobile seating raised capacity to 34,200. Temple Stadium was horseshoe-shaped, with the open end facing west-northwest, and built into a natural bowl. It was also known as Owl Stadium and Beury Stadium, named for the school president responsible for its construction. Prior to the building of the stadium, Vernon Park, the park where the stadium was built, was the Owls' home for several years.

It was founded by members of the faculty of Princeton Theological Seminary in 1929 after Princeton chose to take a liberal direction during the Fundamentalist–Modernist controversy.

Ivy Hill Cemetery is a public cemetery and crematorium located at 1201 Easton Road in the Cedarbrook neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Chartered in 1867, it is 80 acres in size and was originally named the Germantown and Chestnut Hill Cemetery. It was renamed Ivy Hill Cemetery in June 1871.The gatehouse is a grand gothic archway and contains a farmhouse chapel.One cremation unit was installed in 1985 and the number has been expanded to include six cremation units.One of the notable monuments in the cemetery is of Melville H. Freas. He fought in the American Civil War as a member of the 150th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment and commissioned a life-size statue of himself in his military uniform to adorn his grave.
