American Sports University

The WBC Legends of Boxing Museum, located at the American Sports University in San Bernardino, California, is a museum that pays honor to the achievements and accomplishments of some of the most famous boxers of all time, more specifically past World Boxing Council champions. The WBC is one of the four (WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF) major sanctioning bodies in boxing. The museum's motto is, "Great fighters may retire, but their greatness lives on forever." This quote was created by Board Member Eric Casillas.

The San Bernardino County Court House, is a Classical Revival building located at 351 N. Arrowhead Ave. in San Bernardino, is the county courthouse for San Bernardino County, California. The courthouse was built in 1927 and has served as the center of county government since then. A 1937 welfare building, a 1940 county library, and a 1940 heating plant are also located on the courthouse grounds, which are extensively landscaped and include a fountain, sundial, plaque, and the remains of the former county courthouse.The courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 12, 1998.

The Rosa Parks Memorial Building is a 13-story high-rise located in downtown San Bernardino, California. It was built in the 1990s and designed by architect Richard Keating. The building serves as government headquarters for San Bernardino County and California's Inland Empire region. The building is the second tallest in the city of San Bernardino and fourth tallest in the Inland Empire by height since the new San Bernardino Justice Center building, is 200 feet (61 m) but only has 11 floors; the building has topped out but is expected to be fully completed in fall 2013.

The San Bernardino Downtown Station, located at 390 West 5th Street, is the main post office serving San Bernardino, California. The post office was built in 1931 as part of the decade's federal construction programs; it is one of the few remaining buildings in San Bernardino which predates 1950. Architect Louis A. Simon designed the building, which incorporates a number of architectural styles. The general plan of the building is Beaux-Arts; however, the decorative details are inspired by the Mediterranean Revival and Italianate styles. The front of the building features an arcade with acanthus leaf capitals on the supporting columns and a second-floor porch. A red terra cotta tile roof tops the building.The post office was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 11, 1985.

The California Theatre of the Performing Arts or simply referred to as the California Theatre is a performing arts center in the historic Downtown area of San Bernardino, California. Originally a part of the Fox Theatre chain, it opened in 1928. It still houses its original Wurlitzer Style 216 pipe organ. It was also the site of the last performance by Will Rogers prior to his death, in a 1935 plane crash. In the early years of Hollywood, filmmakers would test-screen their movies at the California Theatre. Classic films such as "King Kong" and "The Wizard of Oz" were first seen by audiences at the theatre in the 1930s. The theatre is managed by Theatrical Arts International, the largest theatre company in the Inland Empire, which presents Broadway tours from the national touring circuit, and has hosted the San Bernardino Symphony since 1929. The theatre has recently hosted the tapings of Showtime's "The Latin Divas of Comedy", and "The Payaso Comedy Slam".

The Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino, also known as the San Bernardino County Superior Court or San Bernardino Superior Court, is the branch of the California superior court with jurisdiction over San Bernardino County.

The Carousel Mall, also known as Central City Mall, was a mixed-use two-story shopping mall located in San Bernardino, California, along the city's former main downtown street.

The Swing Auditorium was an indoor arena located at 689 E Street in San Bernardino, California. It had a capacity of 10,000 patrons. Named for California state senator Ralph E. Swing, the arena was constructed at the grounds of the National Orange Show in 1949. Many musicians and other artists performed at the venue, including the Dillards, Jack Benny, George Burns, Louis Armstrong, Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Ike & Tina Turner, Elvis Presley, Johnny Winter, and (for 13 consecutive years) Bob Hope. Sammy Davis Jr. hosted a benefit concert at the venue in 1958, featuring performances by Judy Garland, Jerry Lewis, Tony Curtis, Danny Thomas and Shirley MacLaine. Davis hosted the event to demonstrate his appreciation to the San Bernardino Community Hospital for treating him following an automobile accident in 1954. Davis lost his left eye as a result. The venue altered in the 1960s, becoming a prominent rock arena for the West Coast. In 1964, it was the launching point of the first American tour of the Rolling Stones. The Grateful Dead's February 26, 1977 performance there was released in 2019 as the album Dave's Picks Volume 29. On September 11, 1981, the auditorium was irreparably damaged when it was struck by a twin-engine Cessna T310P, registered N5705M, in an accident that killed the pilot and passenger, following which the building had to be demolished.

The San Bernardino Transit Center (Metrolink designation San Bernardino–Downtown) is an intermodal transit center in downtown San Bernardino, California, United States. It is owned and operated by Omnitrans, the area's public transportation agency. Opened in September 2015, the center consolidates two Metrolink commuter rail routes, the Arrow rail route, and more than a dozen local bus services, including the sbX bus rapid transit line into one central location.

The Masterdome was located at 137 S. G St. in San Bernardino, California and was a popular concert, sports and rave venue until its destruction. Originally, it was a trolley barn for the Pacific Electric Railway. The Masterdome was home to many concerts, sporting events and raves from 1996 to the Summer of 2001. The city of San Bernardino unsuccessfully tried to close the Masterdome. It was ultimately closed on August 2, 2001, by the San Bernardino fire department recalled the entertainment permits and condemned the venue "Unsafe" due to a collapsing roof. The final event at the Masterdome was Summer Dreams by 26C which took place late in the summer of 2001. The building had already been condemned, thus the entire event took place in the outdoor area. The venue featured a large indoor boxing arena setting, full sized bleachers on both sides of the dance floor, a large balcony at the front portion of the venue, with a large stage filled with massive concert audio, intelligent lighting, colored scanning lasers and video. The venue was self facilitated with a professional production crew and show management team, led by Matthew Earnest (Event-Ops). Typically outside promoters would manage the promotion and talent, occasionally decorated per event theme, and leave the shows' operation, security and control of the location. The Masterdome featured three areas for its guests. The outside area had various curbs for people to sit on along the fence area and by the building for people to cool off once the inside of the Masterdome got too hot (See Great Wall Of China). The Venue was previously known as The San Bernardino Sports Arena, also referred to as the G Street Arena. The venue was leased by Ezzat Soliman owner of the Showcase Theatre in Corona, CA - Showcase Theatre in San Diego, CA, CA and formerly of Spanky's Cafe in Riverside, CA. The Masterdome was one of the constant weekly venues in LA that allowed the Rave scene to thrive, since it allowed underage club goers to attend. Although So Cal youths had difficulties getting into 21 and over clubs, they could enter Masterdome with ease to all partygoers. Groups such as TYCO, R.O.A.M, E-Tard Ent, Neosapiens and other West Coast promoters would host events with up to 3200 people into this small venue. A metal concert featuring the bands Napalm Death and Neurosis in early 1999 resulted in the death of 14-year-old Christopher King, of Fontana, CA. The youth had made an attempt to stage dive and crowd surf into an open area, causing the youth to fall on the concrete, severely damaging his spine. A day after the event, the teen died due to lethal nervous system shock.

San Manuel Stadium is an open-air ballpark in downtown San Bernardino, California, United States. It opened in 1996, replacing Fiscalini Field as the home park of Minor League Baseball's Inland Empire 66ers of San Bernardino. Before then, the 66ers shared Fiscalini Field with CSUSB Coyotes and SBVC Wolverines. San Manuel Stadium is named after the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, which is based in San Bernardino and paid for the naming rights. The stadium seats 8,000 people, with additional capacity provided by lawn seating. It is located directly next to the San Bernardino Transit Center, with connections to Los Angeles Union Station.

San Bernardino ( SAN BUR-nə-DEE-noh) is a city and county seat of San Bernardino County, California, United States. Located in the Inland Empire region of Southern California, the city had a population of 222,101 in the 2020 census, making it the 18th-largest city in California. San Bernardino is the economic, cultural, and political hub of the San Bernardino Valley and the Inland Empire. The governments of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico have established the metropolitan area's only consulates in the downtown area of the city. Additionally, San Bernardino serves as an anchor city to the 3rd largest metropolitan area in California (after Los Angeles and San Francisco) and the 13th largest metropolitan area in the United States; the San Bernardino-Riverside MSA. Furthermore, the city's University District serves as a college town, as home to California State University, San Bernardino. San Bernardino was named in 1810, when Spanish priest Francisco Dumetz led an expedition through the area. In 1839, the Mexican government granted Californio ranchero José del Carmen Lugo the right to settle the area, which was formalized when he was granted Rancho San Bernardino in 1842. Following the American Conquest of California, the community on the rancho incorporated as a city in 1854. The city grew significantly in the late 19th century as a commercial hub at the crossroads between Southern California and the American Southwest. Today, San Bernardino is an important hub for the Inland Empire and Southern California.
