Hukok

Nahal Amud (Hebrew: נַחַל עַמּוּד), also known as the Wadi al-Amud, is a stream in the Upper Galilee region of Israel that flows into the Sea of Galilee.

Huqoq or Hukkok (Hebrew: חוקוק) was an ancient Jewish village, located 12.5 km north of Tiberias. The area had been settled since ancient times and is mentioned in the Book of Joshua (Joshua 19:34). The Palestinian village of Yaquq later stood at Huqoq's location, and a fort named Hukok was built near the site on 11 July 1945, later followed by a kibbutz.

Yaquq (Arabic: ياقوق) was a Palestinian Arab village, which was depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on May 1, 1948. It was located 12.5 km north of Tiberias and was built at the site of the ancient Jewish village of Huqoq.

Kahal (Hebrew: כָּחָל) is a moshav in the Galilee near Highway 85 in northern Israel. Located on the border of the Upper Galilee and Lower Galilee, north of Lake Kinneret and just northwest of Tabgha, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mevo'ot HaHermon Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 475.

Kinneret (Hebrew: כִּנֶּרֶת) is the name of an important Bronze and Iron Age city situated on the northwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee, mentioned in the 14th century BC Aqhat Epic of Ugarit, and in the Old Testament and New Testament. Older Bible translations spell the name alternatively Kinnereth or Chinnereth, and sometimes in the plural as Chinneroth. In time the name became Gennesaret and Ginosar (Hebrew: גִּנֵּיסַר). The remains of Kinneret have been excavated at a site called Tell el-'Oreimeh (Tell el-‘Orēme) in Arabic and Tel Kinrot in Modern Hebrew.

Al-Qudayriyya (Arabic: القديرية) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Safad Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on May 4, 1948, by the Haganah and the Palmach's First Battalion of Operation Matate, a sub-operation of Operation Yiftach. It was located 6.5 km south of Safad, situated 1 km east of Wadi al-'Amud.

Kadarim (Hebrew: קַדָּרִים, lit. 'Potters') is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located near Maghar, it falls under the jurisdiction of Upper Galilee Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 308.

Ghuwayr Abu Shusha was a Palestinian Arab village in the Tiberias Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on April 21, 1948. It was located 8 km north of Tiberias, nearby Wadi Rubadiyya.

Al-Shuna (Arabic: الشونة) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Safad Subdistrict. It was ethnically cleansed and depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on April 30, 1948, by the Palmach's First Battalion of Operation Yiftach. It was located 6 km south of Safad, overlooking the deep gorge of Wadi al-'Amud.

Nahal Livnim (Hebrew:נחל ליבנים) is a tributary of Nahal Amud in the Upper Galilee region of northern Israel. The stream flows from west to east, with its upper part beginning at an elevation of 303 meters above sea level on the Livnim Ridge, south of Kfar Hananya, and it empties into Nahal Amud at an elevation of 11 meters below sea level near Khirbet Sirin in the Sirin Plateau. The stream passes north of Kadarim, and within it lies the Livnim Spring. It spans an area with slopes averaging a gradient of about 19%. The region hosts a variety of natural flora and fauna, making it an ecologically rich and diverse environment. Over the years, the stream has been impacted by the construction of various infrastructures in the area, including roads and interchanges, which have disrupted the natural ecological corridor. Despite efforts to preserve the site, the damage to the stream channel and its surroundings has been significant, leading to partial destruction of the unique habitat.

Mugharet el-Zuttiyeh ("Cave of the Robbers") is a prehistoric archaeological site in Upper Galilee, Israel. It is situated 800 m (2,600 ft) from the Nahal Amud outlet, approximately 30 m (98 ft) above the wadi bed (148 m (486 ft) below sea level). It was found to house a fossil today known as the "Galilee skull" or "The Yabrudian Man".

Migdal (Hebrew: מִגְדָּל, lit. Tower) is a town in the Northern District of Israel. It was founded in 1948, and granted local council status in 1949. In 2022 it had a population of 2,031. Migdal is located near Ginosar, and about 8 km north of Tiberias. It has a shoreline on the Sea of Galilee, including the Tamar, Ilanot and Arbel beaches.
