Lyndhurst is a township in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 22,519, an increase of 1,965 (+9.6%) from the 2010 census count of 20,554, which in turn reflected an increase of 1,171 (+6.0%) from the 19,383 counted in the 2000 census.

Kingsland is an unincorporated community located within Lyndhurst Township in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. and the site of Kingsland station. The Kingsland Avenue Bridge is nearby.

WSNR (620 AM) is a commercial radio station, licensed to Jersey City, New Jersey, and serving the New York metropolitan area. It airs a brokered time radio format. The station is co-owned by Gregory Davidzon and Sam Katsman, through licensee Davidzon Radio, Inc. Davidzon is a Russian-American media mogul who also publishes a weekly newspaper under his name. Weekday programming consists of Russian pop music and talk shows as "Davidzon Radio," named after the station's co-owner. Nighttime and weekend hours are leased to various ethnic and specialty programmers. During part of the weekend, the station airs a Caribbean format, "One Caribbean Radio."

Kingsland is a railroad station on New Jersey Transit's Main Line. It is located under Ridge Road (Route 17) between New York and Valley Brook Avenues in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and is one of two stations in Lyndhurst. The station is not staffed, and passengers use ticket vending machines (TVMs) located at street level to purchase tickets. The station is not handicapped-accessible. Originally part of the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad's Boonton Branch, the current Kingsland station was built in 1918.

WINS (1010 kHz) is a commercial, all-news AM radio station licensed to New York, New York, owned by Audacy, Inc. The station brands itself as 1010 WINS, with the call sign phonetically pronounced as "wins". WINS's studios are located in the combined Audacy facility in the Hudson Square neighborhood in lower Manhattan, and its transmitter is located in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. WINS is the oldest continuously operating all-news station in the United States, having adopted the format on April 19, 1965, under former owner Westinghouse Broadcasting, and is one of two all-news stations in the New York City market owned by Audacy, with WCBS (880 AM) being the other. The station's nighttime signal, via ionosphere skywave propagation, reaches much of the eastern half of North America. WINS formerly broadcast in the HD Radio (hybrid) format. As of October 27, 2022, WINS is simulcasting on WINS-FM (92.3 FM).

Eastwood (June 6, 1894 – March 20, 1896) was a borough that existed for a brief period of time in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. It was formed at the height of the "boroughitis" fever that led to the creation of 26 new municipalities in the county during 1894. Eastwood was formed from portions of Harrington Township, New Jersey and Washington Township in the area on the west of present-day River Vale and east of Westwood. As stated in History of Bergen County, New Jersey, "Eastwood caught the borough fever in March, 1894, and was organized as a borough, but in a short time it became tired of borough life and returned to Washington township from which it was set off." Eastwood's demise made it the only borough in Bergen County to be dissolved after its creation. Old Tappan gained portions from Harrington Township circa 1896 of what had been Eastwood. When River Vale was incorporated in 1906, it included area that had been part of the Borough of Eastwood.

The Lyndhurst School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from Lyndhurst, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprising nine schools, had an enrollment of 2,499 students and 185.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.51:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.

WLIB (1190 AM) is an urban contemporary gospel radio station licensed to New York, New York. WLIB is owned by Emmis Communications, along with sister stations WBLS (107.5 FM) and WQHT (97.1 FM). The three stations share studios in the Hudson Square neighborhood of lower Manhattan, and WLIB's transmitter is located in Lyndhurst, New Jersey.

Lyndhurst High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grade from Lyndhurst, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States, operating as the lone secondary school of the Lyndhurst School District. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 789 students and 62.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.7:1. There were 112 students (14.2% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 21 (2.7% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

North Arlington is a borough in Bergen County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 16,457, an increase of 1,065 (+6.9%) from the 2010 census count of 15,392, which in turn reflected an increase of 211 (+1.4%) from the 15,181 counted in the 2000 census.As the site of Holy Cross Cemetery, which has interred almost 290,000 individuals since its establishment in 1915, and with another Jewish cemetery including several thousand more burials, North Arlington has almost 20 times more dead people than living, with more burials than the living population of Newark, the state's largest city. Holy Cross has an average of 2,600 interments each year, of which about 65% are burials, with the remainder split between entombment in mausoleums or crypts and burial of cremated remains. Expansion of the mausoleum will bring its capacity to nearly 36,000 interments, with the cemetery's total capacity of about 750,000 expected to last past the year 2090. The cemetery covers 208 acres (84 ha) and was assessed at $185 million, though its non-profit status means that the municipality generates no tax revenue from a property that covers almost an eighth of the borough's land area.North Arlington was ranked eighth by Money magazine on its list of "Best Places to Live 2017", which cited the borough's healthy economy, affordable homes and a high quality of life.

Holy Cross Cemetery is a Catholic cemetery located in North Arlington, New Jersey, United States. Since its establishment in 1915, it has interred over 289,000 individuals. The cemetery operates under the supervision of the Archdiocese of Newark. The cemetery is 208 acres (0.84 km2) in size and located in North Arlington, at the south end of Bergen County. By August 2013, the cemetery had provided burial or entombment facilities for 289,600 individuals.
