Four Seasons Centre

The Canadian Opera Company (COC) is an opera company in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is the largest opera company in Canada and one of the largest producers of opera in North America. The COC performs in its own opera house, the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. For forty years until April 2006, the COC had performed at the O'Keefe Centre (now known as Meridian Hall).

The Hilton Toronto is a 600-room hotel in Toronto, Ontario operated by Hilton Hotels that has been in operation since 1975. The hotel was built by Western International Hotels (now Westin), which purchased the property in 1970 and began the design process that year. Originally, the site was to have included the hotel and an adjacent office tower. In 1972, Western partnered on the project with Oxford Leaseholds and the design was modified to include a second office tower. Construction began in 1973 and the hotel opened in the summer of 1975. The hotel operated as the Hotel Toronto until 1987, when, as part of a complicated series of corporate acquisitions involving Westin, Hilton, UAL Corporation, and Ladbrokes, the hotel came under Hilton management while remaining under Westin ownership. At an unknown date, Hilton acquired ownership from Westin. The hotel was designed by Vancouver architect Reno C. Negrin, who worked alongside local firm Searle Wilbee Rowland. The Hilton is one of several brutalist luxury hotels built in Toronto in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Others in this group include the Four Seasons Sheraton, Sutton Place, Harbour Castle Hotel, and Hyatt Regency.

The Adam Beck Memorial is a memorial in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in honour of the founder of Ontario Hydro, Sir Adam Beck. It is located in the landscaped median of University Avenue just south of Queen Street West. Designed by sculptor Emanuel Hahn, the monument was the first place entry in a design competition for a memorial to commemorate Adam Beck. It was unveiled in 1934.

Osgoode is a subway station on Line 1 Yonge–University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The station, which opened in 1963, is located under University Avenue where it is crossed by Queen Street West and is named for the nearby Osgoode Hall, which honours William Osgoode, the first chief justice of Upper Canada. Wi-Fi service is available at this station.

The Bank of Canada Building in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, was one of the regional offices for the central bank. It was built in 1957–1958 with vaults for gold and cash for banks in the Greater Toronto Area. The central bank's regional offices are now at Sun Life Financial Tower at 150 King Street West.The building was designed by Canadian architect Ferdinand Herbert Marani and British-born Canadian architect Robert Schofield Morris (1898–1964), with a modern take of classical architecture. The building had mostly a simple clean façade but featured two carvings: bas-relief designs on north and south façade by sculptor Cleeve Horne (1912-1998) and as well as the Arms of Canada on the front entrance by Louis Temporale (1909-1994).

Shopsy's is a Jewish delicatessen restaurant chain in the Greater Toronto Area and a brand name owned by Maple Leaf Foods for a line of meat products.

The Law Society of Ontario Archives collects and preserves records and other material that documents the history of the legal profession in Ontario. The Archives acquires and preserves records of permanent value to the Law Society of Ontario (formerly the Law Society of Upper Canada), the regulatory body for lawyers and paralegals in the province of Ontario. The Archives also accepts external donations of material that is significant to the legal profession in Ontario. The Archives serves as an information resource centre for Law Society staff, the legal profession, and the public.

The South African War Memorial is a memorial located at University Avenue and Queen Street West in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Commissioned in 1910, largely as the result of the efforts of James Mason, and designed by Walter Seymour Allward to commemorate Canada's participation in the Boer War, it consists of three bronze figures at the base of a granite column. Another bronze figure is found at the top of the memorial. It was restored in 2001. The Ontario Heritage Foundation plaque for this memorial erroneously states that Walter Allward studied under Emanuel Hahn; in fact, it was the other way around. For two decades after the war, Canadians would gather on February 27 (known in Canada as "Paardeberg Day") around memorials to the South African War to say prayers and honour veterans. This continued until the end of the First World War, when Armistice Day (later called Remembrance Day) began to be observed on November 11. The monument was unveiled in 1910 by Sir John French.

The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel is a 1300-room, 43-story hotel in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, opened in 1972. It is the second-tallest all-hotel building in Toronto, after the Delta Toronto Hotel.

Shangri-La Toronto is a luxury hotel and residential condominium building in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was designed by James K. M. Cheng and built by Westbank Projects Corp.; they also designed and built the Living Shangri-La in Vancouver. The building is 214 meters tall and is one of the fifteen tallest buildings in Toronto. The hotel component is run by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and has 202 guest rooms and suites. The condominium portion occupies the upper floors of the building and consists of 393 units. Excavation of the site started in 2008, and work on the parking garage began in early 2009.

Oxford Tower is the 39th-tallest structure in Toronto, located at 130 Adelaide Street West. It was completed in 1979. The building is named after its landlord, Oxford Properties and is part of the Richmond-Adelaide Centre. The building is measured at 137 metres above street level. It has 33 above-ground storeys and is attached to Toronto's underground PATH system.

Osgoode Hall is a landmark building in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The original 2+1⁄2-storey building was started in 1829 and finished in 1832 from a design by John Ewart and William Warren Baldwin. The structure is named for William Osgoode, the first Chief Justice of Upper Canada (now the province of Ontario).It originally served to house the regulatory body for lawyers in Ontario along with its law school, formally established as Osgoode Hall Law School in 1889, which was the only recognized professional law school for the province at the time. The original building was constructed between 1829 and 1832 in the late Georgian Palladian and Neoclassical styles. It currently houses the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Divisional Court of the Superior Court of Justice, the offices of the Law Society of Ontario and the Great Library of the Law Society.
