Agricenter Showplace Arena is a sports arena located in Cordova, Tennessee. It was built in 1985 and holds 4,500 people. It is not a host to the Memphis Mojo indoor soccer franchise. Cordova is a community in Shelby County, Tennessee, United States. Cordova lies east of Memphis, north of Germantown, south of Bartlett, and northwest of Collierville at an elevation of 361 feet (110 meters). The majority of Cordova has been annexed by the City of Memphis. The remainder of Cordova is in unincorporated Shelby County, within the Memphis Annexation Reserve area. The boundaries of the Cordova community are inexact, but are generally regarded as the Wolf River on the south, Whitten Road on the west, Interstate 40 on the north, and Pisgah Road on the east. Parts of Shelby Farms are considered part of Cordova.The Old Cordova Area is centered on Macon and Sanga Roads, about a mile and a half east of Germantown Road.It consists of the former town of Cordova, with some of the original structures still present. The Wolfchase Area is not actually a part of Cordova, but is often referred to as part of the Cordova area by association. It contains major shopping centers, businesses and apartments.

Germantown is a city in Shelby County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 41,333 at the 2020 census.Germantown is a suburb of Memphis, bordering it to the east-southeast. Germantown was founded in 1841 by mostly German emigrants. The town hosts Festivals year round to celebrate their history and German Culture. Germantown has the lowest crime rate for any city its size in the State of Tennessee and the police and fire departments have average emergency response time of five minutes (police just under 4 minutes & fire department 5.2 minutes). The parks and recreation department is nationally accredited. The Arbor Day Foundation has designated Germantown a "Tree City USA" for 23 consecutive years. Only 3.2% of Germantown citizens are below the poverty line.

Houston High School is a fully accredited public high school located in Germantown, Tennessee, serving students in grades 9–12. The school was previously one of the eight high schools operating in the Shelby County School District. The principal is Hallie Ross. Houston Middle School and Riverdale Elementary (K-8) are the main feeder schools to Houston High since the creation of the Germantown Municipal School District in June 2014.

Cordova High School is a public high school (grades 9-12) located in Cordova, Tennessee, United States, within unincorporated Shelby County, to the east of the city of Memphis, and is also part of the Memphis-Shelby County Schools district. It is previously a Memphis City School district campus. Before the merger of MCS, Cordova High School served portions of Memphis as well as some portions of unincorporated Shelby County, which are also zoned to elementary and middle schools in the then-SCS district.In 2007, Cordova High School had an expected enrollment of 2,400.

WXMX (98.1 FM) is a commercial mainstream rock radio station near Memphis, Tennessee. It is owned by Cumulus Media and is branded as "98-1 The Max". The station's studios are located at the Memphis Radio Group building in East Memphis, and the transmitter site is in Cordova, Tennessee. The station adopted its current format on April 1, 2005. For many years, the station aired the "Drake and Zeke" morning show. In 2015, Zeke Logan died and the show became known as "Drake in the Morning." The show lasted until 2020, when Drake Hall departed the station.The new morning show was called "Danny and the Jar," featuring Danni Bruns and Chris Jarman. In December 2020, Jarman died.

WRVR (104.5 FM, branded "The River 104.5") is an adult contemporary radio station broadcasting in Memphis, Tennessee. It has broadcast this format for at least 34 years as of 2021. Owned by Audacy, Inc., the station's studios are located in Southeast Memphis, and the transmitter tower is in Cordova, Tennessee, outside Memphis. WRVR broadcasts in the HD Radio format.The station plays pop and soft rock music from the 1970s to the present. 1960s music is occasionally played, and every year from mid-November to December 25, WRVR plays varieties of Christmas music, temporarily replacing its AC format.

The studios are located on Murray Road at the Memphis Radio Group building in East Memphis. The transmitter site is in Cordova, Tennessee, off Raleigh-Lagrange Road. WKIM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the current maximum for American FM stations.

Germantown High School is a public high school in Germantown, Tennessee, and is part of the Memphis-Shelby County Schools district. Three acres were purchased in 1910, and in 1911 students moved into the new building.
