The All Faiths Cemetery is located in Middle Village, Queens, New York. The 225-acre (91 ha) cemetery was established in 1850 by Lutheran pastor Frederick W. Geissenhainer, and incorporated in 1852. Originally named Lutheran Cemetery, it was renamed to Lutheran All Faiths Cemetery in 1990. Approximately 540,000 burials have been conducted at the cemetery since its founding.

The Middle Village–Metropolitan Avenue station is a terminal station of the BMT Myrtle Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. It is located at the intersection of Metropolitan Avenue and Rentar Plaza in Middle Village, Queens. The station is served by the M train at all times.

Niederstein's was a German restaurant located in the Middle Village neighborhood of Queens in New York City that operated from 1850s until February 2005. The restaurant started out in 1850 as a roadhouse on the road between Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Jamaica, Queens. After the acquisition by the German American Niederstein family in 1888, the restaurant and hotel attracted visitors of the neighboring Lutheran Cemetery. In the 20th century, restaurant solidified its status as a staple of the once heavily ethnically German neighborhood. Niederstein's went out of business in 2005, with the building razed and an Arby's location and a small shopping center erected in its place..

Fresh Pond Junction is a freight yard in the Ridgewood and Glendale neighborhoods of Queens, New York City. It is operated by the New York & Atlantic Railway, which serves Long Island, New York using tracks owned by the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR). The yard has been in operation since the early 20th century and is the primary rail freight yard on the island. Fresh Pond Junction connects to the mainland in two directions: North via the Hell Gate Bridge and the Oak Point Yard, providing interchanges with the CSX and Providence and Worcester railroads. Southwest via the Bay Ridge Branch to the New York New Jersey Rail's car float operation. Barges bring cars to Greenville Yard in New Jersey, where interchange is available to CSX and Norfolk Southern Railway using Conrail's North Jersey Shared Assets Area.The Fresh Pond Junction freight facility comprises two yards, west (5 tracks) and east (9 tracks), both of which parallel the NY&A Montauk Branch. There is also a wye and interchange tracks with the New York Connecting Railroad line (now CSX Fremont Secondary) which connects the Oak Point Yard to the Bay Ridge Branch as it passes over the yard. Nearby is Fresh Pond Yard, a separate and unconnected facility of the New York City Subway. Mafera Park, a small neighborhood park, is located at the southwestern corner of Fresh Pond Junction, bounded by the junction to the north and east and the Fresh Pond Yard to the west.

Mafera Park (officially Joseph F. Mafera Park) is a park in Queens, New York City, United States. It is approximately 5.4 acres (0.022 km2) in size, located adjacent to the New York City Subway's Fresh Pond Yard and close to the Fresh Pond Junction between the Long Island Rail Road's Bay Ridge and Lower Montauk branches. It has facilities for baseball, basketball, roller hockey, and handball. The park is named after Ridgewood resident Joseph F. Mafera; when Mafera died in 1967, the park was renamed by law in his honor. The City of New York purchased the land in 1948, and on June 28, 1949, a groundbreaking ceremony was held, featuring New York City mayor William O'Dwyer, Queens Borough President James A. Burke, and Commissioner of Parks and Recreation Robert Moses.Mafera Park was also known as Farmers' Oval due to the park's history hosting the semi-professional Glendale Farmers Base Ball Club for almost 50 years, from the 1900s until the 1950s. In the late 1940s and early 1950s it was also briefly called Ridgewood Park and Glen Ridge Park, as the park is between Glendale and Ridgewood.It was renovated in the early 1990s, and a ribbon cutting ceremony was hosted by mayor Rudy Giuliani, Queens Borough President Claire Shulman, and New York City parks commissioner Henry Stern on March 18, 1995.

68th Avenue–64th Place Historic District is a national historic district in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. It includes 46 contributing buildings built between 1909 and 1913. They consist mainly of two story brick row houses with one apartment per floor. Buildings feature alternating yellow, amber, brown and burnt orange speckled brick and cast stone detailing in the Romanesque Revival style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Central Avenue Historic District is a national historic district in Glendale, Queens, New York. It includes 104 contributing buildings built in 1916. They consist of three story brick tenements with two apartments per floor. Buildings feature front facades and amber iron-spot brick.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Fresh Pond–Traffic Historic District is a national historic district in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. It includes 197 contributing buildings built between 1914 and 1921. They consist mainly of brick two story row houses with one apartment per floor. They have flat or rounded fronts with cream colored or amber, iron spot brick.The district includes the following addresses: Linden Street 61-11 to 61-57 61-12 to 61-64 Gates Avenue 61-09 to 61-59 61-12 to 61-60 64-01 to 64-07 64-02 to 64-18 Palmetto Street 61-11 to 61-55 61-12 to 61-54 64-01 to 64-33 64-02 to 64-42It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Fresh Pond Road station is a station on the BMT Myrtle Avenue Line of the New York City Subway, along Fresh Pond Road between 67th and Putnam Avenues in Ridgewood. The station is served by the M train at all times. The station opened in 1915 as part of the Dual Contracts.

Fresh Pond (formerly known as Bushwick Junction) was a Long Island Rail Road station along the Lower Montauk Branch, located on an open cut near Fresh Pond Road and Metropolitan Avenue in Fresh Pond, Queens, on the border between the neighborhoods of Maspeth and Ridgewood. This station had one low-level island platform between the two southernmost tracks (for eastbound trains) and one low-level side platform serving the northernmost track (for Long Island City-bound trains). However, the platforms were actually a wide area of dirt and gravel. The island platform had a small tin shelter. The only way to reach the station was via a narrow walkway that began at the intersection of Metropolitan Avenue and Fresh Pond Road and went behind a car rental parking lot. It led to an overpass that had staircases going down to each platform. The station opened around June 1869, however in either 1882 or 1883, it was renamed Bushwick Junction for the connection to the Bushwick Branch. The station was rebuilt in April 1895 and closed again in 1915 as part of a grade elimination project. Though the third station was opened the same year with platforms and pedestrian bridges, the former station house still remained intact well into 1923. For the next four years, both the original name and new name would be on the LIRR timetables until it went back to strictly being named Fresh Pond in 1919.Fresh Pond station closed on March 16, 1998, along with the four remaining stations on the Lower Montauk branch due to low ridership, which did not make it cost-effective to build high-level platforms needed to support the then-new C3 bi-level cars that replaced the remainder of the rolling stock on the LIRR that were able to board at low-level platforms.

Glendale was a Long Island Rail Road station along the Lower Montauk Branch, located in Glendale, Queens at Edsall Avenue and 73rd Street, near Central Avenue, at the All Faiths Monuments factory for the All Faiths Cemetery. This station had two "platforms" which were just strips of pavement besides the tracks, and two tracks.However, there are proposals to bring back passenger service along the Lower Montauk Branch.

Mount Carmel Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery located within the Cemetery Belt in Queens, New York City that opened in 1906. The main section is in Glendale, Queens, and has more than 85,000 occupied plots. A new section was opened in nearby Ridgewood.
