Allenhurst is an active commuter railroad station in Allenhurst, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Served by New Jersey Transit's North Jersey Coast Line, Allenhurst station operates on the diesel-only segment between Bay Head and Long Branch stations. However, trains also operate to both New York Penn Station and Hoboken Terminal. The next station to the north is Elberon in Long Branch while the next station to the south is Asbury Park. Allenhurst station consists of two low-level side platforms that are not handicapped accessible.

Allenhurst is a borough located at the Jersey Shore, in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The settlement was named after resident Abner Allen and was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 26, 1897, from portions of Ocean Township. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 472, a decrease of 24 (−4.8%) from the 2010 census count of 496, which in turn reflected a decline of 222 (−30.9%) from the 718 counted in the 2000 census.Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Deal Lake to the west, it is in close proximity to New York City and is a stop on the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line. The borough is at the center of a string of wealthy communities between Long Branch and Asbury Park with many historic homes built during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In 2006, Allenhurst ranked 131st in Forbes magazine's list of the most expensive ZIP Codes in the United States.

Asbury Park High School is a comprehensive, four-year community public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades. It is in a landmark building in Asbury Park, in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that was constructed during the New Deal as a model high school campus. It is part of the Asbury Park Public Schools, an Abbott District serving children in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. The current school building opened to students in September 1926.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 630 students and 57.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.1:1. There were 297 students (47.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and none eligible for reduced-cost lunch.As part of a reconfiguration of district schools announced in July 2019, students in grades 7 and 8 started attending classes in the high school starting in September 2020.Students from Deal attend the high school as part of a sending/receiving relationship. Students from Belmar attend either Asbury Park High School or Manasquan High School.

Loch Arbour is a village situated on the Jersey Shore in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the village's population was 224, an increase of 30 (+15.5%) from the 2010 census count of 194, which had in turn reflected a decline of 86 (−30.7%) from the 280 recorded at the 2000 census.In 2020, Loch Arbour was the third-smallest municipality in New Jersey in terms of area (behind Shrewsbury Township and East Newark) and was the fifth-smallest municipality by population in the state of New Jersey.

Georgies, also spelled Georgie's, is a gay dive bar in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Opened in 1999, it is known colloquially as "the gay Cheers". In addition to static entertainment such as pool and sports match broadcasts, Georgies features live programs most nights; these include go-go dancing, karaoke and drag shows. The bar also hosts a variety of fundraisers to benefit the local community. Georgies closed for several months in early 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it reopened for outdoor service in June and for limited indoor service in September of the same year. Critics note Georgies for its relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere and its tight-knit community of regulars.

As of the 2000 United States Census, the population for ZIP Code Tabulation Area 07711 was 1,934. West Allenhurst is bordered by Allenhurst to the east, Deal to the northeast, and Interlaken to the south. Major arterial roads in the community are the east-west Corlies Avenue (which leads directly to NJ Transit's North Jersey Coast Line Allenhurst station) and the north-south Monmouth Road (County Route 15).

Interlaken is a borough situated in the Jersey Shore region, within Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 828, an increase of 8 (+1.0%) from the 2010 census count of 820, which in turn had reflected a decline of 80 (−8.9%) from the 900 counted in the 2000 census.Interlaken was authorized for prospective incorporation as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 11, 1922, from portions of Ocean Township, subject to approval by a majority of voters in the affected area. The Garden State Film Festival is a film festival in the United States held in Asbury Park and Cranford, New Jersey. which debuts more than 200 independent films annually over four days each spring.The festival was founded in 2002 in Sea Girt, New Jersey by Diane Raver and Hollywood actor Robert Pastorelli. Pastorelli and Raver mounted the first festival in 2003. As of 2017, the executive director is Lauren Concar Sheehy.The festival pays tribute to Jersey's legacy as the birthplace of the American filmmaking in Thomas Edison's Menlo Park laboratories, to Fort Lee, home to America's first motion picture industry, and participants frequently include a New Jersey tie. The festival is one of Asbury Park's major cultural and economic forces. In 2021, the festival began including screenings at the century-old Cranford movie theater in Cranford, New Jersey.

The Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, New Jersey, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States, is co-located with the Asbury Park Convention Hall on the boardwalk along the Atlantic Ocean. The two are connected by an arcade that spans the boardwalk, and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the east, and Bradley Park on the west. A statue of Asbury Park founder James A. Bradley faces the buildings west facade. The theatre has undergone recent renovations by Landmark Studio of Pittstown.

Asbury Park Convention Hall is a 3,600-seat indoor exhibition center located on the boardwalk and on the beach in Asbury Park in Monmouth County, New Jersey. It was built between 1928 and 1930 and is used for sports, concerts and other special events. Adjacent to the Convention Hall is the Paramount Theatre; both are connected by a Grand Arcade. Both structures are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
