Positioned near the shore of Lake Michigan, the Lincoln Park Conservatory (1.2 ha / 3 acres) is a conservatory and botanical garden in Lincoln Park in Chicago, Illinois. The conservatory is located at 2391 North Stockton Drive just south of Fullerton Avenue, west of Lake Shore Drive, and part of the Lincoln Park, Chicago community area. The Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool and the North Pond Nature Sanctuary are further to the north along Stockton Drive. Along with the Garfield Park Conservatory on Chicago's west side, the Lincoln Park Conservatory provides significant horticultural collections, educational programs and community outreach efforts.Lincoln Park Conservatory is a Victorian Era glass house, built in late nineteenth century. It contains four rooms displaying exotic plants from around the world. Rare orchids, like the Moth orchid, can be found in the Orchid room. A formal garden is situated in front of the Conservatory; one of the oldest public gardens in Chicago, designed and planted in the late 1870s. Since its foundation, the Formal Garden has been the home of many sculptors and works of art. The most famous are the Bates fountains, the Schiller monument, along with Sir George Solti's bust, which was relocated to Grant Park in 2006. The well-known Shakespeare monument is located across the street in the Grandmother's Garden, which was formerly known as Old English Garden. The Formal Garden is planted between May and June. Though the peak viewing time is between July and August, the display lasts till mid-October.

The Green City Market is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization that operates a farmers market in Chicago focusing on local and sustainable farming practices. Green City Market is Chicago's only year-round, sustainable market. Green City Market was started in 1998 by chef, cookbook author and Chicago Tribune columnist Abby Mandel. [1] Green City Market operates as an outdoor market in the south end of Lincoln Park from May through October. Green City Market moves into the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum from November through April. In 2007, Alice Waters named Green City Market one of the ten best farmer's markets in America.[2]

A statue of William Shakespeare, sometimes called the William Shakespeare Monument, is installed in Chicago's Lincoln Park, in the U.S. state of Illinois. The work by William Ordway Partridge was created in 1893 and installed in 1894.

Eli Bates Fountain, also known as Storks at Play, is a fountain and sculpture in the center of the formal garden outside Lincoln Park's Conservatory, in Chicago, Illinois.

L2O was a Chicago seafood restaurant opened in 2008 by chef Laurent Gras and owned and operated by Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises. The name of the restaurant stands for Lake to Ocean. The restaurant was located at 2300 N. Lincoln Park West, Chicago, IL 60614. L2O and Alinea were the only restaurants in Chicago to receive 3 stars from the 2010 Michelin Guide. L2O earned 1 Michelin star in the 2011 guide and 2 stars in the 2012 guide. Matthew Kirkley became L2O's chef in November 2011. In 2012, the restaurant installed twin saltwater tanks that house live shellfish. The restaurant ceased to operate in December 2014.

The Belden Stratford is an apartment building and former hotel in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. It is located across the street from the Lincoln Park Zoo and Lincoln Park Conservatory.The structure was built in the 1920s and renovated between 1989 and 1990. Notable guests over the years included Louis Armstrong and Gloria Swanson.In 2011 IRMCO Properties & Management, which owned and managed the Belden Stratford, sold the property to the Laramar Group. Laramar Group sold the property in late 2018, and Waterton now manages the property on behalf of the owner.

Lincoln Park Zoo aka Lincoln Park Zoological Gardens is a 35-acre (14 ha) zoo in Lincoln Park, Chicago, Illinois. The zoo was founded in 1868, making it the fourth oldest zoo in North America. It is also one of a few free admission zoos in the United States. The zoo is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). Lincoln Park Zoo is home to a wide variety of animals. The zoo's exhibits include big cats, polar bears, penguins, gorillas, reptiles, monkeys, and other species totaling about 1,100 animals from some 200 species. Also located in Lincoln Park Zoo is a burr oak tree which dates to 1830, three years before the city of Chicago was organized.

The Building at 399 West Fullerton Parkway is a historic apartment building at 399 West Fullerton Parkway in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Built in 1926, the seventeen-story building was developed and marketed as luxury cooperative apartments for Chicago's affluent residents. Cooperative apartments, in which residents were part owners of the building and controlled its management and who could buy units, became popular with Chicago's upper class in the 1920s due in part to successful marketing by developers. The apartments at 399 West Fullerton offered an attractive location with lakeside views and modern amenities, including parking space and chauffeur service for the increasingly popular automobile. Architects McNally and Quinn designed the French Renaissance Revival building; their design includes a brick exterior with classically ornamented stone on the first three stories, decorative balustrades and window surrounds on the upper floors, and two small, steep hip roofs atop the projected sections of the facade.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 22, 2007.

Theurrer-Wrigley House, also known as the Wrigley Mansion, is a historic building located in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago, United States. The Italian Renaissance-style mansion was commissioned by Joseph Theurer, then-owner of the Schoenhofen Brewing Company, and purchased in 1911 by Chicago's Wrigley family. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, the house was built in 1896 by Richard Schmidt and, possibly, Hugh M.G. Garden, two architects later prominent in the prairie school movement. A four-story home with three-story coach house, both built on a grand scale and in a late-Italian Renaissance style, the Theuer-Wrigley House is one of Chicago's most stunning homes. The house itself covers over 15,000 square feet, including eight bedrooms, a conservatory and a ballroom. A three-story coach house has additional bedrooms. In 1984 the house had sat empty for several decades and a plan was made to make it the official residence of the mayor of Chicago, though the plan was never realized.
