The Grafton Cinema was a film theatre on Grafton Street in Dublin, Ireland which operated for over sixty years.

Anne Street South (Irish: Sráid Anna Theas) is a street on the southern side of central Dublin, running from Grafton Street to Dawson Street.

St. Teresa's Carmelite Church is a Catholic church on Clarendon Street in Dublin, Ireland. Originally accessed via Wicklow Street, there is an additional entrance to the church off Johnson's Court near Grafton Street. The church was originally built between 1793 and 1810, and extensively redeveloped in the late 19th century. It is one of the oldest standing Catholic churches in Dublin, and is included, together with its priory, in the Record of Protected Structures maintained by Dublin City Council.Dedicated to Teresa of Ávila, the church is historically associated with the Discalced Carmelite Order. It was built on lands acquired by John Sweetman, a Dublin-based brewer, in the late 18th century. Daniel O'Connell reputedly held meetings in the church in the early nineteenth century.A statue of The Dead Christ (1829), by sculptor John Hogan, is beneath the church's high altar. Several interior works within the church, including an oratory (completed c. 1882) and altar (1891) are attributed to George Ashlin, with additional developments associated with William Hague and William Henry Byrne. A bronze sculpture on the church's bell tower, by Imogen Stuart, was unveiled in January 2008.

Davy Byrne's pub is a public house located at 21 Duke Street, Dublin. It was made famous by its appearance in Chapter 8 ('Lestrygonians') of James Joyce's 1922 modernist novel Ulysses, set on Thursday 16 June 1904. The main character, advertising canvasser Leopold Bloom, stops at around 1 p.m. for a gorgonzola cheese sandwich and a glass of burgundy while wandering through Dublin. The pub has since become a pilgrimage point for fans of the novel, who, like Bloom, stop and have a cheese sandwich and a glass of wine. The pub is particularly popular on Bloomsday, an annual 16 June celebration of both the book and James Joyce. Joyce also mentioned the pub in the short story "Counterparts" in Dubliners as a bar visited by the office clerk protagonist named Farrington following an altercation with his senior at the office. It is also mentioned in Green Rushes, a short story collection by Maurice Walsh.

The Gaiety Theatre is a theatre on South King Street in Dublin, Ireland, off Grafton Street and close to St. Stephen's Green. It specialises in operatic and musical productions, with occasional dramatic shows.

The Eurovision Song Contest 1971 was the 16th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Dublin, Ireland, following Dana's win at the 1970 contest in Amsterdam, Netherlands with the song "All Kinds of Everything". The contest was held at the Gaiety Theatre on Saturday 3 April 1971, and was hosted by Irish television presenter Bernadette Ní Ghallchóir. Eighteen countries participated in the contest, equalling the record of the 1965 and 1966 editions. Austria returned after their two-year absence, while Finland, Norway, Portugal and Sweden all returned after having boycotted the competition the previous year. On the other hand, Malta competed for the first time. The winner was Monaco with the song "Un banc, un arbre, une rue", performed by Séverine, written by Yves Dessca, and composed by Jean-Pierre Bourtayre. This was Monaco's first and only victory in the contest. The song was performed by a French singer, living in France, sung in French, conducted by a French native and written by a French team. Séverine later claimed she never visited Monaco before or after her victory – a claim easily disproved by the preview video submitted by Télé-Monte-Carlo featuring the singer on location in the Principality. This was also the only time in the contest's history, where the second and third-placed entrants were also awarded.

West of Grafton Street Ltd. or West Jewellers was a jewellery store which was last located on 33 Grafton Street in Dublin, Ireland before it closed in 2010. It was considered the oldest European jewellery store and one of the oldest companies in Ireland.

The Fusiliers' Arch is a monument which forms part of the Grafton Street entrance to St Stephen's Green park, in Dublin, Ireland. Erected in 1907, it was dedicated to the officers, non-commissioned officers and enlisted men of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers who fought and died in the Second Boer War (1899–1902).

Dawson Street (; Irish: Sráid Dásain) is a street on the southern side of central Dublin, running from St Stephen's Green to the walls of Trinity College Dublin. It is the site of the residence of the Lord Mayor of Dublin, the Mansion House.
