Middleton, Idaho

The Middleton Substation is a 1-story, Italianate building in Middleton, Idaho, that was part of an interurban railway loop that connected Middleton, Boise, Nampa, and Caldwell. Constructed in 1912, the small, 16-ft by 30-ft substation provided space both for transformers and for an office. The Middleton Substation was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, and its nomination included an adjacent generator building constructed in 1907 and later demolished.The Middleton stop on the Boise & Interurban Electric Railway was completed in 1907, and the line continued to operate under control of the Idaho Traction Company in 1912, when the substation was completed.The site is now home to the Lee Moberly Museum, named after a former Middleton postmaster and local historian.

KCID (1490 AM) (now Salt & Light's local Spanish Catholic) is a radio station broadcasting a Spanish religious format. Licensed to Caldwell, Idaho, United States, the station serves the Boise area. The station is currently owned by Salt & Light Radio. Former owners Journal Broadcast Group announced July 22, 2009 that KCID, along with sister station KGEM 1140AM, were to be sold to Salt & Light Radio for $950,000. The sale closed on September 25, 2009, and the station will be converted to Salt & Light's local Spanish Catholic radio format.

Caldwell Executive Airport (formerly Treasure Valley Executive Airport at Caldwell) (ICAO: KEUL, FAA LID: EUL) is a city-owned public airport three miles (5 km) southeast of Caldwell, in Canyon County, Idaho, United States. The airport opened in 1976, replacing a smaller facility in downtown Caldwell.Most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, but Caldwell Executive Airport is assigned EUL by the FAA and has no IATA code.

The Caldwell Odd Fellow Home for the Aged in Caldwell, Idaho was built in 1920. It was designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel and built by C. E. Silbaugh with aspects of Late 19th and 20th Century Revivals architecture and Second Renaissance Revival architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.It is a two-story stucco U-shaped building that is about 140 feet (43 m) wide and 45 feet (14 m) deep.It was studied in a 1982 study of Tourtellotte and Hummel architecture. The home no longer belongs to the Odd Fellows.

The Boise River and Canal Bridge, in Caldwell, Idaho, is a three-span, 390 ft (120 m) Warren camelback through-truss design constructed in 1922 by the American Bridge Company from plans submitted by Caldwell city engineer Fred H. McConnel. The site is where Oregon Trail pioneers forded the Boise River. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.The Boise River and Canal Bridge replaced an earlier bridge known as the Canyon Hill Bridge, and when the new bridge was commissioned by Canyon County officials, it continued under the same name. Later, the bridge became known as Idaho Pacific Highway Bridge, Highway 30 Bridge, or Silver Bridge.The bridge road width, 19.5 ft (5.9 m), only allows for one automobile traffic lane, and vertical clearance is limited to 14.1 ft (4.3 m). These factors and that the bridge is beyond its functional lifespan have prompted Canyon County officials to consider refurbishing the Boise River and Canal Bridge as a pedestrian only bridge and building a new bridge for motorized traffic near the site.

Simplot Stadium is an outdoor athletic stadium in the western United States, located in Caldwell, Idaho. It is primarily used for football and soccer, with a seating capacity of 4,826. The College of Idaho Coyotes men's soccer team used it as their home field for 2010 and is current home to the Coyotes football team.Opened 60 years ago in 1964, it was the home of the Caldwell Cubs minor league baseball team of the Pioneer League. It also hosted Caldwell High School's football, baseball, and soccer games, until the completion of various on campus stadiums in 2003. As a football stadium, the field ran southeast to northwest, with one large concrete grandstand, along the southwest sideline, which was the third base line for baseball. The baseball diamond was aligned due north (home plate to second base), and the field was lit for night games. Along with O'Connor Field House and Charolias Barn, Simplot Stadium is part of the Caldwell Events Center Complex. There are two other facilities on the complex, however only these three are owned by the city.

The Caldwell Cubs were a Minor League Baseball team that played in the Pioneer League. The Caldwell Cubs were located in the western United States, in the town of Caldwell, Idaho, west of Boise.

The A.K. Steunenberg House in Caldwell, Idaho, is a 2-story Colonial Revival expansion by Tourtellotte & Co. in 1904 of a smaller Queen Anne house. The 1904 renovation established a 2-story, round corner tower and a colonnade with three prominent columns marking the Kimball Street exposure. The original house at the northwest corner of North 4th and Kimball Streets may have been occupied by the Steunenbergs as early as 1890.

The Thomas K. Little House is a 1+1⁄2-story Queen Anne style house built for the Littles by Robert E. Miller in 1896 in Caldwell, Idaho. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, the house features an irregular pattern with small rooms constructed around two parlors, and it sits on a lava rock foundation.Thomas K. Little was a dry goods merchant in Caldwell, and he was elected mayor of Caldwell in 1904. With the help of architect Thomas H. Soule in 1906, he remodeled the Little Block (Harmon Building) at the corner of Kimball and Main Streets, expanding the building and adding its decorative corner turret. After his retirement in 1910, Little moved from Caldwell to Boise.
