The Patsy T. Mink Central Oahu Regional Park (CORP) is a 269-acre (1.09 km2) public park operated by the City and County of Honolulu. It held its grand opening on July 21, 2001 and it is located in Waipio, Oahu just off the Kamehameha Highway.The Central Oahu Regional Park complex currently includes a 20-court tennis center, which opened in 2003; the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center, four youth baseball diamonds, four regulation size baseball diamonds, a four diamond softball complex, as well as other multipurpose fields, and a 20-lane archery range. CORP plays host to many different sporting events including swimming, baseball, soccer, football etc. It is also the home field for the Hawaii Pacific University Sea Warrior baseball team, the Chaminade University Silversword softball team as well as being the home of the 2007 Hawaii High School Athletic Association (HHSAA) Softball Tournament. The Hanwha Eagles (Korea Baseball Organization) uses the baseball field annually during spring training. The park was renamed after U.S. Representative Patsy Mink in 2007.

The station is owned and operated by Calvary Chapel Honolulu, its on-air branding is "K-Light 1040 AM" and its slogan is "The Pure Light of Hawaii." KLHT first signed on the air on March 18, 1957. For a time in the 1970s, it ran an all-news radio format using the service of CBS Radio News.

KHXM (1370 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Pearl City, Hawaii. The station is owned by George Hochman through licensee Hochman Hawaii Two, Inc. KHXM is powered at 250 watts from a non-directional transmitter near Mililani Cemetery Road in Pearl City. It is the only station on the system not built on elevated tracks. The Hawaiian Station Name Working Group proposed Hawaiian names for the nine rail stations on the ʻEwa end of the rail system (stations west of and including Aloha Stadium) in November 2017, and HART adopted the proposed names on February 22, 2018.

As of the 2020 census, the CDP population was 43,485. The U.S. postal code for Waipahu is 96797.

Leeward Community College is a public community college in Pearl City, Hawaiʻi. It is one of 10 campuses of the University of Hawaiʻi system and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges. Leeward's open admissions policy, only requires that a student be 18 years or older or earned a U.S. high school diploma or a GED (General Education Development) certificate.The campus boasts the sculptures Among the Ruins by Satoru Abe (born 1926) and The Cat by Eli Marozzi (1913–1999).

Hans L'Orange Field is a stadium in Waipahu, Hawai'i. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of Hawaii Pacific University's men's baseball team, the Sharks, since 2016. It was the home field of the Hawaii Winter Baseball teams North Shore Honu and West Oahu CaneFires before the league folded. It holds 2,200 people.
