Kilbree GAA

Kilmeen GAA are a Junior A Gaelic football club from the south-west division (Carbery GAA) of County Cork, Ireland. The club competes in Carbery and Cork competitions. Their sister club in Hurling, Kilbree competes at Junior A level as of 2007.

Ballingurteen (Irish: Baile an Ghoirtín) is a village in County Cork, in the southwest of Ireland. It lies on the R599 road between the towns of Dunmanway and Clonakilty.

The Randal Óg Gaelic Athletic Association club was founded in 1953,and is located in Ballinacarriga, County Cork, Ireland, near Dunmanway in the southwest of the county. The club currently competes at Junior A in Gaelic football and Junior B in hurling. A book entitled "Finding Fifteen, The History of Randal Óg Hurling and Football Club" was published in 2007 to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the club. The club combines with Dohenys at underage levels of competition. Randal Óg is part of the Carbery division of Cork GAA.

Ballinacarriga Castle (Béal na Carraige in Irish, meaning Mouth of the Rock) is a 16th-century tower house located in the village of Ballinacarriga, about 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) from the town of Dunmanway and 7.5 kilometres (4.7 mi) from the village of Ballineen. There is also a school nearby.

The Michael Collins Birthplace is a cottage and National Monument located in Kilkerranmore, County Cork, Ireland. It was the birthplace of Irish revolutionary leader Michael Collins (1890–1922).

Clonakilty GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling club based in the town and parish of Clonakilty in County Cork, Ireland. It is affiliated to the Carbery division of Cork. It was founded in October 1887. The club is most famous for being from the same town where Clonakilty black pudding is produced. The club currently plays in the Cork Senior Football Championship and has won the title on 9 occasions. They are considered a traditional superpower in Cork football and viewed as part of the big four alongside, Nemo Rangers, St. Finbarrs and O’Donovan Rossa. They also play in the South West Junior A Hurling Championship Where they were crowned champions on 18 different occasions.

Bohonagh is an axial stone circle located 2.4 km east of Rosscarbery, County Cork, Ireland. The circle is thought to date from the Bronze Age. A boulder burial is sited nearby (grid ref: 308 368).

Castle Salem is a fortified house near Rosscarbery, in County Cork, Ireland. The house was home to the Morris family from around 1660 until the early 1800s, and was bought in 1895 by the Daly family, descendants of whom now run it as a guest house.

The Cathedral Church of St. Fachtna, also known as the Cathedral Church of St Faughan, Ross Cathedral, and Rosscarbery Cathedral, is a cathedral of the Church of Ireland in Rosscarbery, County Cork in Ireland. Located in the ecclesiastical province of Dublin, it is the smallest cathedral in Ireland. Having once been the mother church of the Diocese of Ross, it is now one of three Anglican cathedrals in the United Dioceses of Cork, Cloyne and Ross, alongside Saint Fin Barre's Cathedral and Cloyne Cathedral. Dating from the 1600s, it was extensively refurbished in the 19th century.
