Vaglia is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Florence in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) north of Florence. It is home to Villa Demidoff, housing the remains of the Villa Medici di Pratolino. The communal territory also includes the Sanctuary of Montesenario, one of the most important ones in Tuscany.

Sofignano is an Italian village and frazione belonging to the municipality of Vaiano, in the Province of Prato, Tuscany.

Vaiano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Prato in the Italian region of Tuscany. It is located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Florence and about 10 kilometres (6 mi) north of Prato. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,532 and an area of 34.2 square kilometres (13.2 sq mi).

Monte Senario is a Servite monastery in the comune of Vaglia, near Florence in Tuscany, in central Italy. It stands on the mountain of the same name, on the watershed between the Valdarno to the south and the Mugello to the north. It was established in 1245 by the seven founding members of the Servite order: 153  and was the first Servite monastery.

Monte Morello is the highest mountain (934 m.) in the Florentine valley, Italy. It is located to the north-west of Florence and it spreads across the borders of the municipalities of Florence, Vaglia, Sesto Fiorentino and Calenzano.
