Heritage High School is a public four-year high school in the Romoland area of the city of Menifee, California. It is part of the Perris Union High School District. Its first school year began on August 8, 2007, with freshmen and sophomores in attendance. It is primarily fed to by students from the Romoland and Nuview school districts, though some students from the Menifee Union School District also attend.

Winchester is a census-designated place (CDP) in Riverside County, California, USA. As of the 2010 census, the CDP had a total population of 2,534, up from 2,155 at the 2000 census. Winchester was founded in 1886 in Peasant Valley in what was then San Diego County. The town was named after the widow of Horace Winchester, Mrs. Amy Winchester.Largely rural for most of its history, and home to agricultural businesses including the Winchester Cheese Company, Winchester experienced rapid growth during the housing construction boom in the early-to-mid 2000s. However, construction and growth slowed when the housing bubble burst in 2007, resulting in a housing market correction. The mid-to-late 2010s saw housing prices in Winchester recover and construction continue with new subdivisions, schools, and parks being built.

Nuevo (Spanish for "New") is a rural community located east of Lake Perris and the city of Perris in Riverside County, California. The population of the census-designated place (CDP) is 7,033 according to the 2020 census, up from 6,447 at the 2010 census.

The Hemet Maze Stone is a prehistoric petroglyph. It is just outside Hemet in Reinhardt Canyon, within the Lakeview Mountains, in Riverside County, California. On April 16, 1956, Mr. and Mrs. Rodger E. Miller donated the stone, along with 5.75 acres (23,300 m2) of associated land, to Riverside County. It is California Historical Landmark No.557. The government installed two perimeter chain link fences around the petroglyph landmark for protection. The surrounding land has been set aside for the protection of native plants and animals (with a warning that the “natural features may be hazardous”). The property is located at the end of California Avenue to the north of Highway 74 and several miles east of Interstate 215, near Hemet. The road has been blocked off to prevent people from driving too close to the Maze Stone. The Riverside County Parks Open Space Office is available at 909-245-1212.

Menifee is a city in Riverside County, California, United States, and is part of the Inland Empire. Named after a local miner, Luther Menifee Wilson, it was settled in the 19th century, and established as an independent city in 2008. Since then, Menifee has become one of the fastest growing cities in California and the United States.The city is centrally located in Southern California in the Menifee Valley. It is almost 15 miles (24 km) north of Temecula and just north of Murrieta. Menifee is roughly 46 square miles (100 km2) in size and has an elevation of 1,424 feet (434 m). The incorporated City of Menifee includes the communities of Sun City, Quail Valley, and Romoland.

Hemet-Ryan Airport (IATA: HMT, ICAO: KHMT, FAA LID: HMT) is three miles (6 km) southwest of Hemet, in Riverside County, California.Hemet-Ryan is a main Cal Fire Air Attack Base, also used for civil purposes, Civil Air Patrol meetings, and more. It is home to a Riverside County Sheriff's Office aviation unit and a Mercy Air Air ambulance. The airport is named after the late T. Claude Ryan.
