The Board of Jewish Education (BJE) of Toronto, Ontario is the education department of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, and is an administrative body that offers direction to the Greater Toronto Area's Jewish schools. In 2007 The BJE was replaced by Mercaz, The Centre for Enhancement of Jewish Education.

The Prosserman Jewish Community Centre is a Jewish Community Centre for the Toronto area. It is located along Bathurst Street in the Bathurst Manor neighborhood of Toronto.

The Ontario Jewish Archives (OJA) is a community archives and the central repository for records related to Ontario's Jewish community. Located in Toronto, Ontario, what is today known as the Ontario Jewish Archives, Blankenstein Family Heritage Centre, was founded in 1973. The OJA maintains records dating back to the 1850s, including photographs, newspapers and minute books. Dara Solomon has been director of the archives since 2012, following Ellen Scheinberg (2002-2011) and founding director Stephen Speisman (1973-2000).What became the OJA began as two file cabinets in a change room at the Shaarei Shomayim Synagogue in Toronto. The archives were officially formed in 1973 as part of a collaboration between the Toronto Jewish Historical Society and the Canadian Jewish Congress (Central Region). Since 1992, the archives has operated as a department of the United Jewish Appeal Federation of Toronto. In 2014 the name of the archives was expanded to the Ontario Jewish Archives, Blankenstein Family Heritage Centre following a donation from the Blankenstein family.

York Centre is a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been the name of ridings in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario three different times. It was created initially in 1955 from the southern part of York North. It was dissolved in 1963 when it was split into three ridings called Yorkview, Downsview and Armourdale. In 1967, it was reconstituted north of Steeles in the township of Markham. This lasted until 1999 when it was dissolved into Markham—Unionville. The name was given to a new riding formed in its original location south of Steeles. It remains as an existing riding today.

York Centre (French: York-Centre) is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1904 to 1917 and since 1953. As per the 2016 Census, 17.0% of York Centre residents are of Filipino ethnic origin and 16.0% belong to the Filipino visible minority, which are the highest such figures among all City of Toronto ridings. At the same time, the York Centre riding has the highest percentage of residents of Russian (9.5%) and Jewish (5.6%) ethnic origins (in the 2011 National Household Survey, 13.6% of York Centre residents had entered a Jewish ethnic origin). The riding was previously considered one of the safest Liberal Party seats in Canada; however, this changed as the Conservative Party gained ground in the 2000s, and its candidate Mark Adler won the seat in 2011. However, the Liberal Party regained the seat in 2015 with its candidate Michael Levitt. Levitt was re-elected in 2019, and resigned as of September 1, 2020, to become the CEO of the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies. A by-election to fill the vacancy took place on October 26, 2020, which was won by Liberal Ya'ara Saks.

Crawford Adventist Academy is a K– grade 12 Adventist private day-school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The school is divided into two sections, the elementary, which consists of grades JK-8, and the high school, which consistis of grades 9-12. The campus is located next to the 1000+ member Willowdale Adventist Church, and the previously SDA owned North York General Hospital Branson Site. Owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Crawford maintains three campuses – the main school in the north part of Toronto, a second K–6 campus called Crawford East and a campus in Peel Region. Crawford has over 700 students overall. Crawford Adventist Academy Toronto Campus is the centrepiece of the Toronto Adventist District School Board (TADSB), which also runs the third school called Peel Adventist School. The TADSB is under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Tiferet Israel Congregation (Hebrew: תפארת ישראל) is a Sephardic Orthodox synagogue in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Sheppard Avenue West in the former city of North York. Tiferet Israel Congregation follows Moroccan Jewish tradition. Regular services are held during the week, on Shabbat, and on Jewish holidays. The synagogue contains a sanctuary on the main floor with separate seating for men and for women, and in the basement there is a kitchen and a room for luncheons, festive meals, and parties.

Northview Heights Secondary School, originally known as Northview Heights Collegiate Institute is a secondary school for grades 9 to 12 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in Toronto's north end at the intersection of Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue.Its feeder schools include Charles H. Best Middle School and Willowdale Middle School. However, there are many students that attend from different regions specifically for the Honours Math, Science, and Technology, CyberARTS, APGA, ICT SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) and Hospitality SHSM programs.

Sheppard Avenue Bridge is an under deck Truss bridge that spans the Don River on Sheppard Avenue West, just east of Bathurst Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Built in 1954, the bridge has a scenic view of the West Don River and Earl Bales Park. The current bridge replaced an old concrete bridge that was damaged during Hurricane Hazel and required cars to descend down the valley.The upper deck carries four lanes of traffic. There is a water main in the steel sub-structure. In April 2006, a small section of the road collapsed due to a break in the 50-year-old water main carried below. The bridge was out of commission for three weeks.The bridge is the last major bridge to span the West Don River before it is diverted under most roads north of Sheppard with metal or concrete culverts. Several smaller concrete bridges traverse over the East Don River (with one larger bridge on Eglinton Avenue near the Don Valley Parkway) northwards towards the city limits at Steeles Avenue.

Associated Hebrew Schools of Toronto (Hebrew: בית ספר קהילתי אסוסיאייטד) is a private traditional Jewish day school with campuses in Toronto, Ontario. Its three branches are: Kamin Elementary School at the Hurwich Education Centre (252 Finch Ave. W), the Posluns Education Centre (18 Neptune Drive), and Danilack Middle School at the Hurwich Education Centre (252 Finch Ave. W). Founded in 1907, it was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 1922.

The Herb Carnegie Centennial Centre, formerly named the North York Centennial Centre, is a multi-purpose arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was built in 1966 and occasionally hosted the Toronto Marlboros of the Ontario Hockey League. It was renamed on May 2, 2001 for Herb Carnegie, a black Canadian ice hockey pioneer. This arena hosts the North York Rangers of the Ontario Junior Hockey League team. The arena also offers leisure skating organized by the City of Toronto government. It is located at Finch Avenue and Bathurst Street in the district of North York. It is located next to the Centennial Library, a branch of Toronto Public Library. During the summer, the arena becomes a dry pad for other sports, such as lacrosse.[1].

Esther Shiner Stadium is a multi-purpose outdoor sports facility in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the former city of North York, on the north-west corner of Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West. Its capacity is 3,000 [1] and is currently the home of North Toronto Nitros of League1 Ontario and FC Vorkuta of the Canadian Soccer League. York University's football team were former tenants of the stadium from the 1980s to 1995 until a football field was built on campus (see York Stadium). The stadium plays host to many sporting events including Canadian football, soccer, and athletics. The stadium has hosted the majority of CPSL/CSL Championship finals from 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2014.The stadium was built in June 1984, and was originally named North York Civic Stadium. It was renamed in 1988 in honour of former City of North York Councillor Esther Shiner. In 2004, the stadium was closed for refurbishment, and it reopened on September 15, 2005 with a new artificial playing surface and a running track.
