Languedoc is a settlement in Cape Winelands District Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa.

Kylemore is a village in the Western Cape of South Africa. It is located in the Cape Winelands, within Helshoogte Pass on the route from Stellenbosch to Franschhoek. With a population of 4000+ people, the community is largely dependent on employment in the bigger towns, predominantly Stellenbosch, Paarl, and greater Cape Town. The adjacent farms provide seasonal jobs to farm labourers and students during the harvest season. The town is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with walking trails into the neighboring countryside. Rugby is the most popular sport in the village. After producing two Springboks in Ivan Jacobs and Herschel Jantjies, the local rugby club's numbers rose more than 100%.

Pniel is a settlement in Cape Winelands District Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is a settlement and United Congregational Church of Southern Africa (UCCSA) mission station between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, established in 1843. The name is of biblical origin (Genesis 32:30), referring to the place where Jacob wrestled with God; it means ‘face of God’.

Wemmershoek is a settlement in Cape Winelands District Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Wemmershoek is a small village at the junction of the R301 and R45 roads. The Wemmershoek Dam on the Wemmershoek River was established in 1957.

The Berg River Dam is a 68-metre (223 ft) high dam on the Berg River in South Africa. It is the centerpiece of the Berg Water Project (BWP) which is designed to capture the winter rainfall and store it for supply to Cape Town during the dry summer months. The project in turn forms an important part of the Western Cape Water Supply System (WCWSS), an intricate system of dams and bulk water infrastructure that provides water to more than 3 million people. At the inauguration of the dam in 2009, then President of South Africa Kgalema Motlanthe called the project "a good example of how public infrastructure projects can be used to contribute meaningfully to poverty eradication and to foster social empowerment of the people." The Berg River Dam was the first dam in South Africa to be designed and constructed in accordance with the guidelines of the World Commission on Dams. It has been completed on time and within budget. The Berg River basin and the adjacent metropolitan area of Cape Town are of particular importance to the Western Cape region because, although the basin generates only about 3% of the country's water resources, it is home to about 8% of South Africa's population, and produces about 12% of GDP.The Berg River Dam (Autshumato Dam) was completed in 2007 at cost of R1,5 billion. It was designed and built in accordance with the United Nations World Commission on Dams, to provide water for Cape Town.

Assegaaibosch Nature Reserve is an historic estate and currently a CapeNature nature reserve and World Heritage Site situated in the Jonkershoek Valley near Stellenbosch in the Western Cape province of South Africa. The historic estate was established by Dirk Coetsee, the progenitor of the Coetsee family in South Africa.

Rozendal is a residential suburb of Stellenbosch since roughly the early 1970s. It forms the eastern border of the town together with Karindal. Stellenbosch is the second-oldest town in South Africa after Cape Town. The well-known Lanzerac Hotel and winery is a stones throw away and the road to Jonkershoek passes by the suburb.
