Azusa, California

Asuksa-nga (also Azucsagna or Asucsagna) is a former Tongva-Gabrieleño Californian Native American settlement in the San Gabriel Valley. The site is in Los Angeles County, California.It was on the San Gabriel River, located in present-day Azusa.

The Azusa Civic Center is the center of city government in Azusa, California, a city located to the northeast of Los Angeles. The Mission/Spanish Revival buildings were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Azusa Downtown station is an at-grade light rail station on the A Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. It is located on Alameda Avenue, a block north of Foothill Boulevard, in Downtown Azusa, after which the station is named. This station opened on March 5, 2016, as part of Phase 2A of the Gold Line Foothill Extension Project.

Azusa High School is a public high school in Azusa, California, United States, a city east of Los Angeles and east of the San Gabriel Valley. It is one of the two high schools in the Azusa Unified School District. In addition to offering multiple Advanced Placement courses. Azusa High School is currently an IB (International Baccalaureate) school. Alumni of the school have graduated from prestigious undergraduate institutions like Yale University, Stanford University, Amherst College, University of California, Berkeley, University of Southern California, University of California, Los Angeles, University of California, San Diego etc.

The Felix Events Center is a 3,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Azusa, California, United States. It hosts locals sporting events and concerts. It is home of the Azusa Pacific University Cougars men's and women's basketball teams and volleyball team. It was the former home of the SoCal Legends when they played in the American Basketball Association. The arena opened in 2001. Azusa Pacific University's Acro and Tumbling team have been using the arena since their inaugural season in 2010.

APU/Citrus College station is an at-grade light rail station on the A Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. It is located between Palm Drive and Citrus Avenue, a block north of Foothill Boulevard, in Azusa, California. It is named after the nearby Azusa Pacific University (APU) and Citrus College.This station opened on March 5, 2016, as part of Phase 2A of the Gold Line Foothill Extension Project, and currently serves as the northern terminus of the A Line. Phase 2B of the Foothill Extension will open to Pomona in December 2024.Due to heavy rain in March 2016, the previously delayed underpass construction on North Citrus Avenue was flooded. The Citrus Avenue extension and underpass were finally opened in September 2016.

Azusa Pacific University (APU) is a private evangelical research university in Azusa, California. The university was founded in 1899, with classes opening on March 3, 1900, in Whittier, California, and began offering degrees in 1939. The university's seminary, the Graduate School of Theology, holds to a Wesleyan-Arminian doctrinal theology. APU offers more than 100 associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs on campus, online, and at seven regional locations across Southern California. Azusa Pacific University is organized into three colleges and seven schools. The academics programs are available from the Honors College, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Music and the Arts, Leung School of Accounting, University College, School of Behavioral and Applied Sciences, School of Business and Management, School of Education, School of Nursing, and School of Theology. APU is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission.

The Robert Haugh Performing Arts Center (HPAC) is a 1440-seat Theater located on the campus of Citrus College in Los Angeles.

Citrus is a census-designated place (CDP) in Los Angeles County, California, United States. It is located in the San Gabriel Valley between Azusa to the north and west, Glendora to the east, and Covina to the south. The population was 10,866 at the 2010 census, up from 10,581 at the 2000 census. Citrus is named after Citrus Avenue, which passes through the community.

Citrus College is a public community college in Glendora, California. The Citrus Community College District, which supports the institution, includes the communities of Azusa, Claremont, Duarte, Glendora and Monrovia. Founded in 1915 by educator Floyd S. Hayden, Citrus College is the oldest community college in Los Angeles County, California, and the fifth oldest in the state of California. Until 1961, the school was operated by the Citrus Union High School District and served the local area as both a high school and a junior college. During the 2019-2020 academic year, Citrus College enrolled 19,626 students. It conferred 2,444 degrees and awarded 2,175 certificates. 531 students graduated with honors (GPAs of 3.3 to 4.0). Citrus College currently offers 65 associate degrees, 88 certificates and skill awards in career technical education programs, and 29 associate degrees for transfer (ADTs). Its operating budget for 2020-2021 is $78 million.

Citrus Stadium is a 10,000-capacity multi-use stadium located in Glendora, California. The stadium, which features a running track, serves as home to American football, athletics, and soccer for Citrus College and the USL Premier Development League side FC Golden State Force. It is also the home stadium for several area High Schools, including Gladstone HS (Covina), Azusa HS (Azusa), and Glendora HS (Glendora).

Rancho Azusa de Dalton, (originally the Rancho El Susa), was a 4,431-acre (17.93 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day Los Angeles County, California, given in 1841 by Governor Juan Alvarado to Luis Arenas. Arenas sold his Rancho Azusa de Duarte holdings three years later to Henry Dalton (1803–1884), a wealthy merchant from Pueblo of Los Angeles. Dalton named his holding Rancho Azusa de Dalton. Henry Dalton was also called Don Enrique Dalton. Cities that have been established on the Rancho lands originally granted to Henry Dalton include Azusa, Arcadia, Monrovia, Irwindale and Baldwin Park.
