Holland, Arkansas

Faulkner County is located in the Central Arkansas region of the U.S. state of Arkansas. As of the 2020 census, the population was 123,498, making it the fifth most populous of Arkansas's 75 counties. The county seat and largest city is Conway. Faulkner County was created on April 12, 1873, one of nine counties formed during Reconstruction, and is named for Sandford C. Faulkner, better known as Sandy Faulkner, a popular figure in the state at the time. Located at the intersection of the Ozarks and Arkansas River Valley, the county was sparsely populated for much of its early years. Largely a county of rural settlements, growth came slowly following the Civil War and Reconstruction. The college known today as University of Central Arkansas was established in 1907, but population continued to grow slowly. The growth of Little Rock and the construction of Interstate 40 have made Conway and other parts of Faulkner County into bedroom communities for the state capitol. Today Faulkner County is included in the Central Arkansas metro area, with Conway as a principal city.

The Liberty School Cafeteria is a historic school building in rural Faulkner County, Arkansas. It is located on the west side of Arkansas Highway 36, about 0.25 miles (0.40 km) north of its junction with United States Route 64, about midway between Conway and Vilonia. It is a modest single-story wood-frame structure, with a gabled roof that has exposed rafter ends in the American craftsman style. It was built in 1935 with funding support from the Works Progress Administration, and originally housed classrooms for science, agriculture and math, as part of a consolidated regional primary school. In the 1940s it was converted into a cafeteria. The school district was further consolidated with Vilonia in the 1950s and 1960s, when this building's school function ceased. The grounds are now used for a flea market.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Hamlet is an unincorporated community in Faulkner County, Arkansas, United States. The Sellers House is a historic house at 89 Acklin Gap in rural Faulkner County, Arkansas, northeast of Conway. It is a single-story masonry structure, with a gabled roof, fieldstone exterior, and cream-colored brick trim. It has a projecting front porch with arched openings, and its roof has Craftsman-style exposed rafter ends. The house was built about 1940 by Silas Owens, Sr., a noted regional master mason. This house exhibits his hallmarks, which include herringbone patterns in the stonework, cream-colored brick trim, and arched openings.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Titan II ICBM Launch Complex 374-5 Site is a historic military installation in rural Faulkner County, Arkansas. It is located roughly midway between Greenbrier and Conway, on the east side of United States Route 65 about 0.4 miles (0.64 km) north of its junction with East Cadron Ridge Road. It is an underground complex on 10 acres (4.0 ha) of land, featuring a missile silo and launch control facility. Its ground-level access points have been back-filled with rubble or welded shut, and are discernible only by the presence of concrete pads and mounds of earth. Surface features also include the remnants of a helicopter pad and a theodolite siting marker, and the original access road to the facility from US 65. The facility was staffed by the 374th Strategic Missile Squadron between 1963 and 1986, housing an LGM-25C Titan II ICBM, and was decommissioned and rendered non-functional in 1987 under the terms of the SALT II strategic arms treaty.The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

The James and Jewell Salter House was a historic house at 159 South Broadview in Greenbrier, Arkansas. It was a single-story wood-frame structure, finished in stone veneer with cream-colored brick trim elements. It was built about 1945, its exterior masonry done by Silas Owens, Sr., a regionally prominent African-American stonemason. It was unusual among Owens's works as an example of English Revival architecture done with his stylistic touches.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. It is listed as destroyed in the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program database.
