Winslow Rural District was a rural district in the administrative county of Buckinghamshire, England from 1894 to 1974, covering an area in the north of the county.

Winslow is a market town and civil parish in north Buckinghamshire, England, within the Buckinghamshire Council unitary authority area. It has a population of just over 4,400. It is located approximately 6 miles (9.7 km) south-east of Buckingham, and 7 miles (11 km) south-west of Bletchley (Milton Keynes).

Sir Thomas Fremantle School is a secondary free school that opened in Winslow, Buckinghamshire in September 2013. It was proposed by a group of local parents and educationalists to improve the quality and choice of available secondary education in North Buckinghamshire. The school opened in the former Winslow Centre, previously the site of Winslow Secondary Modern School. The school moved into a large purpose-built site off Buckingham Road in 2017. The school is a non-denominational, fully comprehensive school for students between 11 and 19. The school is named after Sir Thomas Fremantle, a naval officer in the time of and a good friend of Lord Nelson Originally, the school was divided into three houses, each bearing the name of a ship Sir Thomas Fremantle captained: Neptune, Hussar and Spitfire. In 2021, the house names were updated based on a student election in the year combined with the fact that the school was changing the form system from vertical to horizontal. The new houses are named after: Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Agatha Chrisitie, Freddie Mercury and Mary Seacole. In 2022, as the school expanded, two additional houses were added named after Tim Peake and Boudicca. In 2015, the school was judged as 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features by Ofsted, and this rating was reaffirmed in 2018. Since September 2022, the Headmaster is Francis Murphy who replaced Neale Pledger.

Winslow War Memorial is located in High Street, Winslow, Buckinghamshire, England. It is a grade II listed building with Historic England and commemorates men who died in the First World War with later additions for the Second World War, Malayan Emergency and Falklands Conflict. It was unveiled in 1920.

Winslow United Football Club are a football club based in Winslow, Buckinghamshire, England. They play in the Spartan South Midlands League Division One.

Winslow Hall is a country house, now in the centre of the small town of Winslow, Buckinghamshire, England. Built in 1700, it was sited in the centre of the town, with a public front facing the highway and a garden front that still commanded 22 acres (89,000 m2) in 2007, due to William Lowndes' gradual purchase of a block of adjacent houses and gardens from 1693 onwards. The architect of the mansion has been a matter of prolonged architectural debate; the present candidates are Sir Christopher Wren or a draughtsman, whether in the Board of Works, which Wren oversaw, or a talented provincial architect.

Winslow railway station refers to either one of two railway stations which historically served or is planned to serve, the town of Winslow in north Buckinghamshire, England. The original station (1850–1968) was on the former Varsity Line between Cambridge and Oxford. As of August 2023, construction of a new station nears completion and is scheduled to be served by East West Rail, as part of the plan to reinstate the Oxford–Cambridge service.

Winslow Road railway station served the village of East Claydon near Winslow to the north of Quainton in Buckinghamshire, England. It was the second station to serve the town after Winslow on the Varsity Line.

Royal Air Force Little Horwood or more simply RAF Little Horwood is a former Royal Air Force station. It was established during the Second World War, and is located on the site of Greenway Farm in Aylesbury Vale, north east Buckinghamshire. The airfield sits within a triangle formed by Little Horwood, Great Horwood, and Winslow. It was in operation from September 1942 until January 1946. It is now mostly returned to agricultural use.

Granborough (previously Grandborough) is a village and civil parish in Buckinghamshire, England. It is around 5 miles (8 km) north of Waddesdon and 7 miles (11 km) south-east of Buckingham. The nearest town is Winslow. The village name is Anglo-Saxon in origin, and means 'green hill'. In the Domesday Book of 1086 the village was recorded as Grenesberga. Anciently the manor of Granborough was owned by the abbey at St Albans, though in the Dissolution of the Monasteries in 1547 ownership passed automatically to the Crown. The ancient parish church, dedicated to St John the Baptist, was demolished during the English Civil War, though was rebuilt shortly after the Restoration of the Monarchy in 1685. The village is still one of the possessions of the Crown. There is a public house, logically called the Crown. After the parish church the most interesting building is the neat half-timbered Arts and Crafts village hall. Granborough still has very many thatched cottages and houses, many of them in Green End, a hamlet attached to the village.

Addington is a village and civil parish in Buckinghamshire, England, about 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Winslow and 3 miles (4.8 km) south east of Buckingham. According to the 2001 and 2011 census' it had a population of 145. It is part of the Buckinghamshire Council unitary authority area. First recorded as Edintone in the Domesday Book of 1086, its name means Eadda's Estate. Nearby Adstock is named after the same person. The manor at that time was in the possession of Odo, Bishop of Bayeux. A notable building in the village is the Mansion House, which is a 19th-century building on the site of the much older manor. The former manor house was used twice during the English Civil War as the national headquarters of the Parliamentarian forces. During the Second World War from 1940 to 1945 Addington House was the residence or safe-house of the Moravec, Strankmüller and Tauer families of the Czechoslovak Military Intelligence staff, who had their headquarters in London. It was Colonel František Moravec who planned the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich (although this was masterminded in London not at Addington). The President of Czechoslovakia, Edvard Beneš, lived at The Abbey in nearby Aston Abbotts. The parish church is dedicated to St. Mary the Virgin. The church has three bells (the oldest dating as far back as 1666) hung for English change ringing and one sanctus bell hung for chiming. Possibly in November 1890, a temperature of -21.1 °C (-5.8 °F) was recorded. However, the temperature is of dubious authenticity and if it is correct, it would be the lowest temperature in November in England.

Great Horwood is a small village and is also a civil parish within the unitary authority area of Buckinghamshire, England with a population of about 1025 people (2001 Census). It is about five miles ESE of Buckingham, six miles WSW of Milton Keynes.
