Knockagh Monument

Greenisland was a cricket ground in Greenisland, Northern Ireland, used first by Greenisland Cricket Club, and then by Cliftonville Cricket Club from 1990 to 2007. Since 2008, the owners of the ground, Greenisland War Memorial Sports Club, replaced the cricket pitch with artificial hockey pitch and it has ceased to be a cricket venue.The first recorded match on the ground was in 1967, when the Northern Cricket Union played an Ireland Development XI. In 2005, the ground hosted a List A match in the 2005 ICC Trophy between Bermuda and Denmark, which resulted in 93 run victory for Bermuda.

Greenisland railway station serves Greenisland in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The station opened on 11 April 1848 as Carrickfergus Junction. It was renamed on 10 January 1893. The station used to be larger, with a third platform, but this was removed after the closure of the spur to the Derry~Londonderry Line. The station building is staffed from 7am to 3pm. A park and ride facility was built in 2009.

Belfast High School (BHS) is a co-educational voluntary grammar school in Jordanstown, Newtownabbey, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It was established in 1854 and is within the North Eastern Region of the Education Authority. In May 2007, it was awarded Specialist Status in Languages and in March 2012, it has been recognised as one of only six post-primary schools in Northern Ireland to be in the top 10% for performance at both GCSE and A-level.

Greenisland (Irish: Inis Glas) is a town in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It lies 7 miles north-east of Belfast and 3 miles south-west of Carrickfergus. The town is on the coast of Belfast Lough and is named after a tiny islet to the west, the Green Island.It is a semi-rural community located at the foot of Carn Hill , upon which stands the Knockagh Monument, a war memorial for those from County Antrim who died in the first and second world wars.The town has two distinct areas, known locally as Upper Greenisland and Lower Greenisland after the upper Station Road and lower Station Road around which two parts are respectively located. Upper Greenisland stretches from Upper Road (B90) to the railway station at the bottom of Upper Station Road, includes Greenisland Primary School and features predominantly middle-class demographics and housing. Lower Greenisland runs from the railway station, down Station Road and ends at Shore Road (part of the A2 road). It features a large, predominantly Protestant working-class housing estate built during the 1950s and 1960s and includes Greenisland Library, Greenisland Community Centre, a number of churches, a small shopping parade at Glassillan Court and Silverstream Primary School. The village in its entirety stretches from the foot of the hill to the shore of Belfast Lough.

Jordanstown railway station serves Jordanstown and the University of Ulster in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. A park and ride facility for the station has been proposed to ease congestion on the main Jordanstown Road.The station was opened on 1 February 1853. The station buildings were demolished in the 1980s and replaced by modest shelters. Prior to this, the station was staffed permanently and had a manually operated level crossing. Today, the level crossing is automatic, and the station is only staffed on the Belfast-bound platform at peak times.

The A2 is a major road in Northern Ireland, a considerable length of which is often referred to the Antrim Coast Road because much of it follows the scenic coastline of County Antrim; other parts of the road follow the coasts in Counties Down and Londonderry. Mainly a single lane in each direction, the road follows most of the coastline of Northern Ireland. It is connected in several places to other major roads.

Trooperslane railway station serves the hamlet of Trooperslane in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. There are plans to open a park and ride facility at the station. The station was opened on 11 April 1848.For many years it was served only by peak-time services on Mondays to Saturdays. On a trial basis in the 1990s, one service each way made a request stop on a Sunday, however this was not a success. When Northern Ireland Railways introduced a new clock-face timetable in the mid-2000s, the station once again saw a regular service seven days a week, with nearly all trains serving the station. Trooperslane also has a level crossing, supervised by closed-circuit television.

Monkstown (Irish: Baile na Manach) is a townland (of 811 acres) and electoral ward in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is within the urban area of Newtownabbey and the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council area. The townland was previously called Ballynamanagh (from Irish Baile na Manach 'townland of the monks') It is also situated in the civil parish of Carnmoney and the historic barony of Belfast Lower.Monkstown is said to be the burial place of Fergus Mor Mac Eirc, king of Dal Riata. which suggests a religious house was established in the 5th century CE. It possibly became a grange- a farm that was managed by a monastery, and was possibly associated with the monastery at Woodburn in Carrickfergus.

Jordanstown (Irish: Baile Mhic Shiúrtáin) is a townland (of 964 acres) and electoral ward in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is within the urban area of Newtownabbey and the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council area. It is also situated in the civil parish of Carnmoney and the historic barony of Belfast Lower. It had a population of 6,225 in the 2011 census, with an average age of 40.Jordanstown includes a University of Ulster campus, a bowling club, a few schools and shops. It also has a beach and seafront park area called Loughshore Park, which hosts various events throughout the year including the three-day Loughshore Festival over the last weekend in August. The park sits on the shore of Belfast Lough.

Slieve True or Slievetrue (from Irish Sliabh an Triúir 'hill of the three') is a 312 m-high (1,024 ft) hill in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is near Knockagh Monument and Monkstown, about 6 km (3.7 mi) north of Belfast. Slieve True derives its name from three standing stones (known as "The Three Brothers") about one-half mile (0.80 km) southwest of the summit. These have since been integrated into a field wall. There is also a cairn in the area.In May 2013, Irish electricity company Gaelectric opened a wind farm in the Carn Hill area of Slievetrue, consisting of six wind turbines at a total cost of £20 million.

Carrickfergus is a barony in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is bounded on the south-east by Belfast Lough, and otherwise surrounded by the barony of Belfast Lower. It is coextensive with the civil parish of Carrickfergus or St Nicholas and corresponds to the former county of the town of Carrickfergus, a county corporate encompassing Carrickfergus town.

Bleach Green is a railway junction located in Newtownabbey where the Belfast to Larne railway line diverges from the Belfast to Derry route. The Bleach Green Junction is the only burrowing junction in the whole of Ireland.
