Lucerna Palace (Czech: Palác Lucerna) is an entertainment and shopping complex in the New Town quarter of Prague, Czechia. In 2017, it was named a national cultural monument.

The Alcron Hotel Prague is a historic hotel in Prague on Štěpánská, just off Wenceslas Square, the main plaza in the city center. The Hotel Alcron was constructed by its owner/architect Alois Krofta, a local businessman, and opened in 1932. Krofta named the hotel after himself, taking the first two letters of his first and last names and adding an "n" to match the Alcron, a boat from Greek mythology. Pre-WWII guests included Charlie Chaplin and Winston Churchill, while Joachim von Ribbentrop and Karl Hermann Frank stayed at the hotel during the German occupation of Czechoslovakia. In 1948, the Alcron was nationalized by the new communist government.Following the fall of communism, the hotel closed in 1990, and the Krofta family filed claims for restitution in 1992. A legal battle ensued between two of Krofta's ex-wives and one of their daughters. The three women were eventually each given 1/3 ownership, which they each sold in 1995 to an Austrian-based firm, Crown WSF Ltd. In 1996, the new owners contracted Radisson SAS Hotels to manage the establishment upon its reopening. It was completely rebuilt and modernized at great expense, with the historic public rooms restored to their original Art Deco grandeur. It reopened on 1 August 1998 as the Radisson SAS Hotel Prague. Crown secured the right to use the Alcron name two years later, and the hotel was renamed Radisson SAS Alcron Hotel. The hotel was again renovated in 2008 and renamed Radisson Blu Alcron Hotel in 2009, when the Radisson SAS partnership ended. After twenty years of management by Radisson, the Alcron Hotel became independent and was renamed Alcron Hotel Prague on 1 January 2019. The Alcron hotel is home to the La Rotonde restaurant and the BeBop Bar.

Bollywood Film Festival is a film festival held annually in Prague, Czech Republic. It was first launched in 2004 and its mission is to present India's Bollywood films to a Czech audience. The song/dance and dramatic storylines which are typical of many Indian films are finding popularity in European culture.

The Drama Club (Czech: Činoherní klub) is a theatre located in Prague. The Drama Club was founded by Ladislav Smoček and Jaroslav Vostrý. The opening performance of Piknik took place on 3 March 1965. The actors in the 1970s and 1980s included Petr Čepek, Pavel Landovský, Josef Somr, Jiří Kodet, Jirina Trebicka, Libuše Šafránková and Josef Abrhám. On 19 November 1989, two days after the Velvet revolution, the Civic Forum was founded there. The Drama Club was awarded Alfréd Radok Award in category Theatre of the Year in 2002, and 2008. The current actors include Jaromír Dulava, Ivana Chýlková, Ondřej Vetchý and Petr Nárožný.

Lucerna Music Bar is a concert club housed within Lucerna Palace, located inside a pedestrian walkway, or "passage", in architectural terms, that connects Vodičkova and Štěpánská streets near historic Wenceslas Square, in the New Town (Nové mesto) area of Prague in the Czech Republic. The name Lucerna means "lantern" in Czech. Lucerna Palace is an Art Nouveau/Modernist edifice built by former President Václav Havel's grandfather Vácslav Havel. Lucerna Music Bar is one of the venues within Lucerna Palace involved in the Prague International Jazz Festival and the AghaRTA Prague Jazz Festival. It was used for the Václav Havel Tribute Concert, held in the former president's honor, upon his death in 2011. The venue, opened in 1995, has played an important role in giving exposure to many Czech bands. Today, it holds discos on Friday and Saturday nights, and during the week, it mainly hosts live music.

Real Beat festival is the first high grade reggae/dancehall festival in the Czech Republic. The festival was held from 2000 to 2006 under the name Reggae Ethnic Session. The first edition with the current name took place in 2007 under the Točník castle. The main headliner was the famous Jamaican singer Anthony B. Real Beat also does other concerts during the year in Prague (Capleton, Gentleman...).

Mezipatra is a Czech queer film festival screening films with gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender themes. The name Mezipatra translates as "mezzanine" and refers to the festival's mission: creating space for meeting of people regardless of their gender or sexual identities. Each edition explores a chosen theme and hosts a variety of international guests. The accompanying events range from lectures and debates to art openings, theatre performances as well as exciting parties. It takes place annually in November in Prague and Brno with related events in Ostrava, Olomouc and other cities in Czech Republic. Throughout the year Mezipatra offers additional screenings within the Mezipatra Approved edition. Mezipatra also participates in Prague Pride festival by organizing screenings and debates with LGBT themes.

The Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education – Economics Institute, known as CERGE-EI () is an academic institution in Prague, Czech Republic, specialised in economics. The institute is a partnership between the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education of Charles University and the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. It is also a New York State Education Department entity with a permanent charter for its degree-granting educational programs awarded by the New York State Board of Regents. It is located in the Schebek Palace in the center of Prague.The center was founded in 1991 by a group that included Jan Švejnar and Jozef Zieleniec, with a goal to educate a new generation of economists from post-communist countries. The school provides an American-style PhD program in economics, a US-chartered Master of Arts program in Applied Economics (the MAE program), and the UPCES study abroad program. CERGE-EI also conducts research in theoretical and policy-related economics.

The statue of Saint Wenceslas in Prague, Czech Republic depicts Wenceslaus I, Duke of Bohemia. It is installed at Wenceslas Square.

Osvobozené divadlo (1926–1938) (Liberated Theatre or Prague Free Theatre) was a Prague avant-garde theatre scene founded as the theatre section of an association of Czech avant-garde artists Devětsil (Butterbur) in 1926. The theatre's beginnings were strongly influenced by Dadaism and Futurism, later by Poetism (a specific Czech art movement). The theatre was very leftist oriented, but it could also be critical of the Communists. One of the founders, Jiří Frejka, came up with the name in 1926. In the theatre both authorial plays and works by well-established modern authors; such as G. Apollinaire, A. Jarry, J. Cocteau, A. Breton, F. T. Marinetti, and V. Nezval were performed. The modern conception of the scene also laid more emphasis on lighting and the theatrical conception adjured more cooperation and contacts between actors and audience.

Cambridge Business School s.r.o. is an educational institution providing professional management education in the BBA, MBA and LLM programmes. It was founded in 2010 and its headquarters are in Prague 1, Czech Republic.

The Petschek Palace (in Czech Petschkův palác or Pečkárna) is a neoclassicist building in Prague. It was built between 1923 and 1929 by the architect Max Spielmann upon a request from the merchant banker Julius Petschek and was originally called "The Bank House Petschek and Co." (Bankhaus Petschek & Co.) Despite its historicizing look, the building was then a very modern one, being constructed of reinforced concrete and fully air-conditioned. It also had tube post, phone switch-board, printing office, a paternoster lift (which is still functioning), and massive safes in the sublevel floor. The building was sold by the Petschek family before the occupation of Czechoslovakia, and the family left the country. It was during the war years that the place gained its notoriety, as it immediately became the headquarters of Gestapo for the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. It was here where the interrogations and torturing of the Czech resistance members took place, as well as the courts-martial established by Reinhard Heydrich which sent most of the prisoners to death or to Nazi concentration camps. Many people died as a result of imprisonment and torture in the building itself. A memorial plaque that commemorates the victims was unveiled on the corner of the building.In 1948 the building was acquired by the then-Czechoslovak Ministry of Foreign Trade. Today it is the residence of a part of the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade. In 1989 the building became a National Cultural Monument (Národní kulturní památka). The exterior was used as stand-in for the Gemeinschaft Bank (Zurich, Switzerland) in the 2002 film Bourne Identity.
