Ribandar is a town in Tiswadi, Goa, located between the cities of Panjim (Nova Goa) and Old Goa (Velha Goa).

Our Lady of Grace Church is a Roman Catholic church in Chorão, Goa, India. It is bounded on its north and west by the Mapusa River, with Salvador do Mundo remaining exactly opposite to it. To the south is the river Mandovi with Ribandar opposite to it and to its east is the St Bartholomew's Church.

The Ponte Conde de Linhares (English: Count of Linhares Bridge), often shortened to Ponte de Linhares is a 3.2 km (2.0 mi) long causeway connecting Ribandar to the main city of Panjim (now Panaji) in Goa, India. It runs along the flood plains of the Mandovi River and is surrounded by various salt pans. There are ducts which act as tide controls. The Ponte Conde de Linhares was built in 1633–34 under the direction of the then Viceroy of Portuguese India, Miguel de Noronha, 4th Count of Linhares, after whom it is named. The bridge is often said to have been the longest in the world at 3.2 km (2.0 mi) when it was completed in 1634.The 2014 edition of the Panaji Carnival started at Ribandar-Merces Junction on the causeway.

Mapusa River (Rio de Mapuça) river is one of the main tributary of the River Mandovi in Goa, India. The river originates from the jungles of Dumacem and Amthane, meanders eastward and then southward before it drains itself in the Mandovi river at Penha de France. Mapusa River has separated Corjuem from mainland Aldona. The Assonora River is the main tributary of Mapusa River. It is situated 12 km from the mapusa city which is a capital of the Bardez taluka and is one of the largest towns of Goa. It flows 20 kilometres in western direction. Penha de Franca church is situated on the junction of the River Mapusa and River Mandovi. Mapusa is the largest town located on the banks of the river.

Salvador do Mundo (Portuguese for Saviour of the World) is a village in Bardez taluka, Goa, in India. The village is located south west of Socorro and east of Porvorim. The Mount has a Chapel, which is used to hold services during the Lenten Season.

The Mandovi bridge is a set of two bridges. It carries four lanes over the Mandovi river. It was Russian in design and the first to be used in this country. The first Mandovi bridge was built in 1971 and the second one in 1998.On 5 July 1986 the first bridge collapsed. After the collapse, this project required the dismantling of the old bridge structure and strengthening with by filling M20 concrete. The total cost of construction was ₹20 million (US$250,000). The parallel bridges have a length of 600 metres each.

The Atal Setu is a cable-stayed bridge in Goa that runs between Panaji and Porvorim. It carries National Highway 66 over the tidal part of the Mandovi River. It is 5.1 kilometres (3.2 mi) long, making it the third longest cable-stayed bridge in India. Two wheelers, three wheelers and bullock carts are prohibited from using the Atal Setu due to its height of 30 metres (98 ft). It officially opened on 5 February 2019.

Real Colégio de Educação de Chorão is a defunct Catholic seminary that was founded on 2 April 1761 in Chorão, India. It belonged to the Parish of Our Lady of Grace Church (Chorão Island).

The Chapel of St. Jerome is a historic Roman Catholic chapel on the island of Chorão in Goa, India. After closing of the Chorão Seminary, although it had been abandoned for centuries, the chapel still stands. Acoustic phenomena are even now observed in the chapel. The chapel was built in 1761.

Mercês is a neighborhood located in the northeastern part of the city of Panaji, capital of the Indian state of Goa. It is completely located on the island of Tiswadi, one of the talukas in the state of Goa. It is located between the Mandovi River and the Bambolim neighborhood. The neighborhood of Mercês is well connected with various tourist destinations such as Bambolim, Panjim, Miramar and Caranzalem. It is well known among the people of Goa due to a famous wedding venue situated here known as Alua Mercês. Its school is Our Lady of Mercês High School. For accommodations there are a number of houses and villas to rent. One can also get bikes for hire to visit nearby places.The neighborhood of Mercês is politically connected with the adjoining neighborhood of Santa Cruz, which share an MLA.

Goa Cricket Association Stadium is a cricket stadium, proposed to be built in Dhargal, Goa. The stadium will be the home ground for Goa Cricket Association. The project is currently suspended due to various problems including but was obstructed by the corruption and financial troubles. Goa is the only state association that does not own its own ground.The ground will be established in 1.30 lakh square metres with all facilities like practice stadium, indoor practice area etc. The ground will have floodlight so that stadium can host day-night matches with capacity of 45,000 persons.
