Monheim am Rhein

The Friedenskirche (Peace Church) is a protestant church in Monheim-Baumberg, Schellingstraße 13, built from 1968 to 1974 according to the plans of Walter Maria Foerderer in the style of Brutalism.

Baumberg (also Monheim-Baumberg) is part of the city of Monheim am Rhein in the district of Mettmann in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) at the southern border of Düsseldorf, placed on the eastern bank of the river Rhine. In contrast to its direct neighbour Garath, which consists mainly of projects, Hellerhof is socially in a far better social situation because there is much detached and semi-detached housing and only a few blocks of flats. The name comes from an old farm, the Hellerhof (Heller's farm). There is a commuter railway S-Bahn station and one bus line connecting Hellerhof with the rest of Düsseldorf.

Langenfeld is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) in the district of Mettmann. The suburban city is located between Düsseldorf and Cologne. Langenfeld was formed from the two localities of Richrath and Reusrath and received city rights in 1948.
