Manfuhah

Al-Yamamah (Arabic: حي اليمامة, romanized: نقل أثاث بالرياض شراء الاثاث) is a residential neighborhood and a subject of Baladiyah al-Batha in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is bordered by al-Manfuhah neighborhood to the west, Southern Ring Road to the south and Manfuhah al-Jadidah to the north. It is named after the historical region of al-Yamama.

Al-Sohoom Mosque (Arabic: مسجد السهوم) is an abandoned low-contour historic mosque currently under rehabilitation in the al-Yamamah neighborhood of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Covering an area of 49 square meters, the mosque approximately dates back to 18th or 19th century when it was situated in the town of Manfuhah. It is built on Najdi architecture using clay and stands on five natural stone pillars extracted from the Tuwaiq mountains. The Saudi authorities began taking steps to protect the mosque in 2020 by halting all excavation activities around the site.

Al-Mansurah (Arabic: المنصورة), alternatively romanized as al-Mansourah and formerly known as Khanshaleelah, (Arabic: خنشليلة, lit. 'khan of Jaleelah') is a historic neighborhood in southern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located east of Manfuhah and west of al-Khalidiyyah in the sub-municipalities of al-Batʼha and Aziziya. It was once a stopover for Hajj pilgrims on the traditional route arriving from the east and was named after a 16th century local woman, Jaleelah bint Abdul Mohsen ad-Dar'iy, who had donated her house as a caravanserai to accommodate the travelers enroute to Mecca.

Wadi Hanifa (Arabic: وَادِي حَنِيْفَة, romanized: Wādī Ḥanīfah), historically known as Wadi al-Arad, is a wadi (seasonal river) in the Najd region, Riyadh Province, in central Saudi Arabia. The valley runs for a length of 120 km (75 mi) from northwest to southeast, cutting through the city of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. A string of towns and villages lie along the valley, including Uyaynah, Irqah and Diriyah. The historical city of Riyadh itself is on the northeastern side of the wadi, but the city has now expanded across Wadi Hanifa, with the sub-municipalities of Al-Shifa and Al-Urayja on its southwestern side.

Al-Masaniʽ (Arabic: المصانع, romanized: al-maṣāniʿ, lit. 'industrial plants') is a historic neighborhood in southern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, situated south of Manfuhah in the sub-municipality of al-Shifa. The neighborhood traces its origins to an ancient agricultural village that served as a confluence of Wadi Hanifa and Wadi al-Batʼha and was known for its cultivation of palm groves in al-Yamama during pre-Islamic Arabia. It was also mentioned in Yaqut al-Hamawi's 13th century work Kitāb Mu'jam al-Buldān (transl. Dictionary of Countries). It was incorporated into the burgeoning metropolis of Riyadh during the city's multiple phases of urbanization and expansion in the 1950s and 1970s. Masani was also a site of conflict in 1837 when Imam Faisal's forces clashed with the Ottomans and the forces of its Riyadh-based vassal emirate during the former's attempt to regain control of the region.

Skirina (Arabic: حي سكيرينة) or at times al-Skirina is a subject of Baladiyah al-Batha and a residential neighborhood in southern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Bordered by Mi'kal neighborhood to the north and Manfuhah al-Jadidah to the south, it is one of the oldest neighborhoods of the city.

Manfuhah al-Jadidah (Arabic: حي منفوحة الجديدة, lit. 'The New Manfuhah') is a subject of Baladiyah al-Batha and a residential neighborhood in southern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It shares proximity with Skirinah neighborhood to the north and al-Yamamah and al-Manfuhah neighborhoods to the south.

Al-Bateha (Arabic: حي البطيحة) is a subject of Baladiyah al-Batha and one of the oldest neighborhoods in southern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located between Jabrah and Manfuhah al-Jadidah.

Ghubaira (Arabic: حي غبيراء, romanized: ḥaī Ġubaīrāʾ), alternatively at times al-Ghubairah, (Arabic: حي الغبيرة, romanized: ḥaī Ġubaīrah) is a residential neighborhood in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located west of al-Khalidiyyah and south of al-Oud in the sub-municipality of al-Batha. It is named after the tribe of Bani Ghabar that once lived in the area and is today inhabited mostly by overseas Afro-Arabs and Pakistanis. The current state of the neighborhood came into being during the reign of King Saud bin Abdulaziz in the 1950s and 1960s.

Qaṣr 'Atīqah (Arabic: قصرعتيقة, romanized: Qaṣr ʿAtīqah, lit. 'Atiqah Palace') was a fortified palace near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was one of the earliest palaces erected outside the old town. The palace was built in 1922 and served as the residence of Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, a brother of Ibn Saud. The building stood near Wadi Hanifa, not far from the current mosque of Muhammad bin Abdulrahman bin Faiṣal Al Saud.

Al Oud Cemetery (Arabic: مقبرة العود) is a public cemetery in al-Oud, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, known for being the resting place of many kings, crown princes and royals of the second and current Saudi states. The word "al-ʿŪud", in Peninsular Arabic means "elder (older person)", likely referring to King Abdulaziz, who was buried in the cemetery.

Miʼkal or Maʼkal (Arabic: بلدة معكال, romanized: baldah Maʿkāl, lit. 'Maʼkal township') is an ancient village and a historic neighborhood in southern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located that is a subject of Baladiyah al-Batha in southern Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, located between ad-Dubiyah and al-Wusaita. The town came into existence when Hajr al-Yamamah disintegrated up into several settlements and estates in the 16th century (10 AH), the most notable of them being Migrin (or Muqrin) and Ma'kal. Its name reportedly comes from two pre-Islamic Arabian deities, Kāl and Maʿkāl (Arabic: كال ومعكال) that were worshipped in Najd.
