The Frey-Haverstick Site (36LA6) is a prehistoric and historic archaeological site located in Manor Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The site was excavated in 1931, 1971, and 1975 by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. Artifacts on the site were discovered as early as 1873, and included a helmet of Swedish origin dated to the reign of King Gustavus II Adolphus (1611–1632). The site features a Susquehannock cemetery, a Middle Woodland habitation site, and a Shenks Ferry village. Various artifact date activities on the site between 3500 BC. and 1650 AD.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Conejohela Flats are a group of islands in the flooded Conejohela Valley, a large floodplain along the southernmost 30 miles (50 km) of the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania and Maryland in the United States. The valley was flooded primarily during the early 1900s by the construction of the Holtwood, Conowingo, and Safe Harbor dams from 1910 to 1931.

Strickler Site is a historic archaeological site located at Manor Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It is the site of a large, stockaded Susquehannock village dated to the 17th century. Excavations revealed nearly 13 longhouse patterns and cemeteries including hundreds of interments.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Shultz-Funk Site (36LA7 and 36LA9) is a prehistoric archaeological site that is located in Manor Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Murry Site is a prehistoric archaeological site located in Manor Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It is the site of a large, stockaded Shenks Ferry village. It was excavated in 1967, and identified as having been inhabited for 10 years, sometime between 1450 and 1550. They identified 46 burials.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Susquehanna National Heritage Area is a federally designated National Heritage Area in south-central Pennsylvania. The national heritage area commemorates and promotes the region surrounding the Susquehanna River. The national heritage area includes all of Lancaster County and York County.The Susquehanna National Heritage Area was first introduced in 2008, and was established in 2019. It is administered by the Susquehanna Heritage Corporation which was created in 2002. It is based out of the Zimmerman Center for Heritage in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania, a historic home dating to the early 1700s. The corporation also manages the Columbia Crossing River Trails Center in Columbia, Pennsylvania. It is a member of the Alliance of National Heritage Areas and HeritagePA, a statewide network covering Pennsylvania's Heritage Areas. The National Heritage Area began giving free boat tours of Lake Clarke starting in 2019.In 2020, the National Heritage Area was awarded $1,500,000 from the state of Pennsylvania to expand and construct a new discovery center.

Dritt Mansion, named after its longest occupants, and also called Pleasant Garden, and current home to the Zimmerman Center for Heritage, is a historic home located at Lower Windsor Township, York County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1758, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, fieldstone dwelling. It measures 50 feet (15.2 m) long and 40 (12.2 m) feet wide, with a cedar-shingled gable roof. The house has remained virtually unchanged since its construction. The land the house is on was first granted by Lord Baltimore to Thomas Cresap in 1729, who operated a ferry here and claimed the area for Maryland. Cresap was arrested in 1736 and driven away after skirmishes known as "Cresap's War"—a dispute finally resolved in 1784 when the Mason–Dixon line was established. Today the home plays host to Heritage Area offices and programs and the Visions of the Susquehanna River Art Collection.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

The Oscar Leibhart Site, designated (36YO9) is a archaeological site located in Lower Windsor Township, York County, Pennsylvania. It was the site of both prehistoric and protohistoric occupation. Digging by landowner Oscar Leibhart began by 1910 with extensive amateur excavations of burials occurring between 1925 and 1936. The Pennsylvania State Museum undertook the excavation of a longhouse in 1956. Additional excavation by Pennsylvania State Archaeologist Barry Kent took place in August 1975. Artifacts uncovered from the site date to the Early Woodland Period (1000 B.C.–200 B.C.) and to the mid-17th century.A Susquehannock village that was home to roughly 1,200 people was located here from c. 1665 to 1675. The pallisaded village was located on a hilltop 900 feet (270 m) west of the river and 100 feet (30 m) above it. The palisaded village appears on Augustin Herrman's 1670 map of Virginia and Maryland. Three indigenous cemeteries associated with the village have been identified.The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984., and was purchased from the Leibhart family in 2008 by the Archaeological Conservancy.

Cabin Creek is a 11.0-mile-long (17.7 km) tributary of the Susquehanna River in York County, Pennsylvania in the United States. Cabin Creek joins the Susquehanna near the outskirts of East Prospect borough.

The Byrd Leibhart Site, designated 36 YO 170 is a historic archaeological site located in Native Lands County Park at Lower Windsor Township, York County, Pennsylvania. It was the site of a late 17th-century fortified settlement. Artifacts were first discovered in 1929, and an excavation undertaken by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission took place in July–August 1970. The excavation identified three cemeteries, a village component, stockade, and a longhouse. The excavations uncovered a range of native and European trade goods dating to the late 17th century.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

McGinness Airport (FAA LID: 8N7) (also known as McGinness Field) is a closed public-use private airport located one mile from Columbia, Pennsylvania. It had been active from December 1949 till Spring 2014.In August 2021, the airport was bought by the Colombia Borough Council as a part of the boroughs ongoing economic revitalization efforts.
