Canterbury Parkway railway station is a proposed interchange between the Ashford–Ramsgate line and the Chatham Main Line near Canterbury, Kent.

Whitehall Meadows is a 11.6-hectare (29-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Canterbury in Kent. It is owned and managed by Canterbury City Council.This wet meadow has typical damp loving wildlife including snails, butterflies, damselflies, dragonflies and reptiles.This site is divided into two halves, with the River Great Stour running between them. A cycle path runs through the northern part.

The Church of St Michael and All Angels is a Norman stone church in the village of Harbledown, near Canterbury, England. A part of the Church of England, it follows the Anglo-Catholic tradition, is a parish of the Society of Saint Wilfrid and Saint Hilda, is under the care of the Bishop of Richborough and is served by clergy of the Society of the Holy Cross. It has been listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England since January 1967.

Chartham is a village and civil parish in the Canterbury district of Kent, England. It is situated on the Ashford side of the city, and is in the North Downs area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 2.3 mi (4 km) south west of Canterbury, England. The Great Stour Way path passes through the village. A paper mill in the village has specialised in the production of tracing paper since 1938. There are numerous arable farms and orchards in the parish. The village has an unstaffed station, Chartham, and a staffed level crossing. It has an outlying locality sharing in many of the community resources, Chartham Hatch. Its current Lord Mayor is Gary Dodd. Nearby communities are Harbledown and Rough Common, Blean, and to the north Thanington.

Harbledown is a village in Kent, England, immediately west of Canterbury and contiguous with the city. At local government level the village is designated as a separate civil parish, that of Harbledown and Rough Common. The High Street is a conservation area with many listed buildings, including a tall and intact Georgian terrace on the south side. The area includes several orchards for fruit on its outskirts, within the parish boundaries.

Larkey Valley Wood is a 44.1-hectare (109-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Canterbury in Kent. It is also a Local Nature Reserve and it is owned and managed by Canterbury City Council.This wood has diverse ground flora with some uncommon plants and many breeding birds, such as tree pipits, nuthatches and hawfinches. Flora include the scarce lady orchid.There is access to the site from Cockering Road.

Wincheap is a road and suburb in Canterbury, Kent, England. The road forms part of the A28 road, stretching for around 1 mile (1.6 km) from the city wall, close by Canterbury East railway station, to the over-crossing of the A2 and the parish of Thanington.

Whitehall Dyke is a tributary of the Great Stour river in Kent, England. The stream runs from its source near Harbledown, 5.6 kilometres, to the Great Stour at Thanington Without near Canterbury.The overall condition of the water body was rated as moderate in 2009, but declined to poor overall in 2014.

Thomas Byrne, VC (December 1866 Dublin – 15 March 1944) was an Irish British Army soldier. He was the recipient of the Victoria Cross (VC), the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.

The Church of Saint Mildred is a partly Anglo-Saxon stone church in Canterbury probably dating from the 11th century. It has been a Grade I listed building since 1949. It is located in the St. Mildred's quarter of the historic city centre. This is the only surviving pre-Norman church within the former city walls.

Canterbury Castle is a Norman Castle in Canterbury, Kent, England (grid reference TR14545743). It is a five-minute walk from Canterbury East Station and the main bus station around City Wall. Canterbury Castle was one of the three original Royal castles of Kent (the other two being Rochester Castle and Dover Castle). They were all built soon after the Battle of Hastings, on the main Roman road from Dover to London. This was the route taken by William the Conqueror in October 1066, and they were built originally as motte-and-bailey castles to guard this important route.
