Clear View High School

Webster is a city in the U.S. state of Texas located in Harris County, within the Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land metropolitan area. Its population was 12,499 at the 2020 U.S. census.

Clear Path is a secondary alternative school located in Webster, Texas, in the Clear Creek Independent School District for 6th to 12th grade. This school is not to be confused with Clear View, where students must apply for entrance. At Clear Path, students are "placed" and moved to the school at administrative request for various reasons. The majority are at risk of dropping out of school. The school serves all of CCISD, including the cities of Kemah, Clear Lake Shores, Nassau Bay, Webster, League City, El Lago, and Taylor Lake Village. Clear Path is an alternative school and does not have school team sports; however, it does offer physical education, also known as PE. Clear Path also includes the Special Education department and Communities In School.Communities In Schools opened a second department in Clear Springs High School in August 2007.

Challenger Columbia Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in League City, Texas. It is the second stadium in the Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD) and serves all five of its comprehensive 6A high schools. The stadium was built to relieve the overused and deficient Veterans Memorial Stadium and end the frequently scheduled Thursday night football games for all the CCISD high schools.

Clear Lake City is a master-planned community located in southeast Harris County, Texas, within the Bay Area of Greater Houston. It is the second-largest master-planned community in Houston – behind Kingwood. The anchor stores are Star Cinema Grill, Dave & Buster's, Dillard's, JCPenney, H&M, Macy's, and Forever 21. There is 1 vacant anchor store that was once Sears. It is located 18 mi southeast of downtown Houston at Interstate 45 South and Bay Area Blvd. It has five major anchors and more than 170 stores and restaurants. It has 1,240,000 sq ft (115,000 m2) of retail space.

Space Center Houston is a science museum that serves as the official visitor center of NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston. It was designated a Smithsonian Affiliate museum in 2014. The organization is owned by NASA, and operated under a contract by the nonprofit Manned Spaceflight Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. The Johnson Space Center is the home of Mission Control and astronaut training.The center opened in 1992 replacing the former Visitor Center in Johnson Space Center Building 2. The museum is 250,000 square feet (23,000 m2) and displays over 400 space artifacts, including the Mercury 9, Gemini 5, and Apollo 17 space capsules.

Space Shuttle Independence, formerly known as Explorer, is a full-scale, high-fidelity replica of the Space Shuttle. It was built by Guard-Lee in Apopka, Florida, installed at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in 1993, and moved to Space Center Houston in 2012. It was built using schematics, blueprints and archival documents provided by NASA and by shuttle contractors such as Rockwell International. While many of the features on the replica are simulated, some parts, including the landing gear's Michelin tires, have been used in the Space Shuttle program. The model is 122.7 ft (37.4 m) long, 54 ft (16 m) high, has a 78 ft (24 m) wingspan, and weighs 171,860 lb (77,950 kg).

Nassau Bay is a city in Harris County, Texas, United States, bordering the outermost southeastern edge of the city of Houston. It is located in the Clear Lake Area near Galveston Bay, directly adjacent to the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. The population was 5,347 at the 2020 census.

Clear Lake City STOLport (IATA: CLC) was an airport owned by Houston Metro Airlines, a commuter air carrier. It was located adjacent to Clear Lake City on Texas State Highway 3 (also known as Old Galveston Highway) approximately two miles west of the NASA Johnson Space Center, southeast of Ellington Air Force Base (now Ellington Field). The airfield featured a single paved northwest–southeast 2,500 foot runway, with a ramp, maintenance hangar and terminal building on the southeast side. Houston Metro's primary route was to and from Houston Intercontinental Airport, along with other airports in southeast Texas.

Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital, located in Nassau Bay, Texas, across from Johnson Space Center, is one of seven community hospitals that are part of Houston Methodist. It employs about 900 people, has an estimated 700 affiliated doctors and admits more than 5,700 patients annually. The hospital serves the Greater Bay area.

Clear Springs High School (CSHS) is an American public high school located in League City, Texas. It is one of seven high schools in the Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD). The school opened in 2007 serving most of League City west of Interstate 45 and part of the Harris County portion of Friendswood.

The Johnson Space Center shooting was an incident of hostage taking that occurred on April 20, 2007 in Building 44, the Communication and Tracking Development Laboratory, at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas, United States. The gunman, William Phillips, an employee for Jacobs Engineering who worked at Building 44, shot and killed one person and took a hostage for over three hours before committing suicide. Police said Phillips was under review for poor job performance and he feared being dismissed.
