Ballybunion

Beale GAA (Irish: Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Biaille) is a Gaelic football club based in the town of Ballybunion, County Kerry, Ireland. Founded in 1972, the club fields teams in competitions organised by the North Kerry Football Board. Beale won the North Kerry Senior Football Championship in 2014. Sand in our Boots, a book published in October 2016 and recording the history of Beale GAA club, won the GAA's 2016 MacNamee Award for 'best GAA club publication'.

Ballybunion Golf Club is a golf club in County Kerry, Ireland. The club is located south of Ballybunion, on Sandhill Road. Comprising two links courses, Ballybunion was previously ranked at number seven in Golf Digest's "100 Best Courses Outside the USA". While, due to its remote location, the course has not been selected for many top championship events, the club's "Old Course" hosted the Irish Open on the European Tour in 2000.

Cashen Bay is located on the estuary of the River Feale in County Kerry, Ireland. The village of Ballyduff overlooks the bay. It has been a minor harbour for many centuries. A small number of inhabitants live the area called "The Cashen". A long seawall, up to 7 feet high in places, protects the shoreline community at both sides of the "mouth" of the River Feale. Ballybunion Golf Course is located on the north side of the Cashen Bay. A salmon fishery is also located on the bay's north side.

The River Feale (An Fhéil or Abhainn na Féile in Irish) rises near Rockchapel in the Mullaghareirk Mountains of County Cork in the southwest of Ireland and flows northwestwards for 75 kilometres through Abbeyfeale in County Limerick and Listowel in County Kerry before finally emptying into Cashen Bay, a wide estuary north of Ballyduff. Then it flows out through the Shannon's estuary and joins with the Atlantic Ocean with a flow rate of 34.6 m2/s. The river, along with its tributaries, combine to add to over 160 km (100 miles) of waterways. For the final 10 km (6 miles) stretch it is known as the Cashen River. The river contains a large salmon and sea trout population. The headwaters of the Feale rise approximately 4.3 km northeast of the village of Rockchapel between the townlands of Rockhill West, Rockhill East and Tooreenmacauliffe on the southwestern slopes of Mullaghareirk mountain.

Ballyduff (Irish: An Baile Dubh, meaning 'the black town') is a village near Listowel, County Kerry, Ireland. Located on the R551 road between Ballyheigue and Ballybunion on hills above Cashen Bay where the River Feale flows to the sea at the mouth of the River Shannon.

Ballyduff G.A.A. is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Ballyduff, County Kerry, Ireland. The club fields both hurling and Gaelic football teams. The club won the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final in 1891.

Ladys Walk are a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling club in Ballyduff in North County Kerry, Ireland. They are the Ballyduff second team. They play in the County Intermediate Hurling Championship.

The village is part of the parish of Ballydonoghue, which is located in the north of the county. The village contains three pubs, several shops and there are two primary schools in the parish.

Lixnaw Hurling Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the north of County Kerry, Ireland. They primarily play in competitions organised by the Kerry County Board of the GAA, such as the Kerry Senior Hurling Championship, and also in competitions organised by the North Kerry Hurling Board. The club is principally concerned with the game of hurling but many of their players also play gaelic football, many with Finuge. The club has won 9 Kerry Senior Hurling Championships, 10 Kerry Minor Hurling Championships and 5 Kerry Under-21 Hurling Championships.
