Belleville City Hall is home to Belleville City Council and located at 169 Front Street between Macannay and Market Streets in Belleville, Ontario. Built in 1873 as town hall and market by local architect John D. Evans, the High Victorian Gothic Revival was built using limestone and red brick. It became city hall in 1877 when Belleville became a city.Originally a two-storey building, it housed the local farmer's market, which moved in 1961. Two floors were added during renovations in 1988.

The Pinnacle Playhouse is a theatre in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. It houses the Belleville Theatre Guild, a member of the Eastern Ontario Drama League.

Belleville is a city in Ontario, Canada situated on the eastern end of Lake Ontario, located at the mouth of the Moira River and on the Bay of Quinte. Belleville is between Ottawa and Toronto, along the Quebec City-Windsor Corridor. Its population as of the 2021 Canadian census was 55,071 (Census Metropolitan Area population 111,184). It is the seat of Hastings County, but politically independent of it, and is the centre of the Bay of Quinte Region.

The Quinte Conservation is a conservation authority in the province of Ontario. It is headquartered in Belleville, Ontario. Quinte Conservation was created as a result of the amalgamation of three local conservation authorities in 1996; Moira River, Prince Edward Region and the Napanee Region authorities. The authority was established in 1995, but the three conservation authorities that make up Quinte Conservation were created much earlier: Moira and Napanee were both formed in 1947, with Prince Edward Region formed in 1965. Both Moira and Napanee were quick to respond following the passage of the Conservation Authorities Act in 1946, legislated by the provincial government that year in response to a concern expressed by agricultural, naturalist and sportsman's groups who felt the province's renewable natural resources were in an unhealthy state. Although the responsibility for managing natural resources lay within the province, the extent of erosion and water concerns was such that a new approach was deemed necessary. Years of drought and deforestation had led to extensive soil loss and flooding in the province and the time had come to regroup and address growing conservation issues.

Nicholson Catholic College (NCC) is a Catholic secondary school in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. The school operates under the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board, and teaches students the Ontario Secondary School Diploma Curriculum as well as curriculum from the International Baccalaureate Programme. NCC is named after Monsignor J.F. Nicholson, V.G., P.A., with whose help and guidance a Catholic high school was first opened in Belleville. Monsignor Nicholson was the pastor of St. Michael's parish.

The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board (known as English-language Public District School Board No. 29 prior to 1999) has 39 elementary and eight secondary schools, serving over 18,400 students, and employing more than 1,070 teachers and 705 support staff. The school board covers a wide geographical area of 7,221 square kilometres bordered by Maynooth to the north, Deseronto to the east, Prince Edward County to the south and Quinte West to the west. CJOJ-FM (95.5 MHz) is a Canadian radio station in Belleville, Ontario, known as Hits 95.5. It airs an adult contemporary format. It is owned by Starboard Communications, which also owns sister station CHCQ-FM.

Albert College is a co-educational independent boarding and day school located in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. It is the oldest co-ed boarding independent school in Canada, and the only private boarding school in Belleville. Albert College currently has an enrolment of approximately 300 students from over 20 countries. The school comprises an Early Primary Learning Centre (Pre-Kindergarten), a Junior School (Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6), a Middle School (Grades 7 and 8), and a Senior School (Grades 9 to 12). Boarding students are divided into three residences: Baker House, for Grade 7 to 9; Graham Hall, for Grade 10, 11 and 12; and Victoria Manor, for Grade 7 to 12. Albert College is also a day school for local students, who come mainly from Belleville, as well as the nearby communities of Picton, Napanee and Kingston. Students are transported in school vans or drive to school every day and return home every evening. Albert College's facilities include a chapel, a dining hall, several art rooms, and a science wing. Albert College offers a wide range of co-curricular programs, specialized arts programs, and an English foundation year for first-year students of English as a second language (ESL). In addition, ESL is also offered at Albert College during the annual summer-school program. Albert College offers varsity and intramural sports including swimming, lacrosse, rugby, basketball, soccer and others.

Glanmore National Historic Site (Glanmore House), located in Belleville, Ontario, Canada, is a former residence and current National Historic Site. It was constructed in 1882-1883 for J.P.C. Phillips and his wife Harriet Dougall Phillips.

The Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf is a provincial school in Belleville, Ontario with residential and day programs serving elementary and secondary deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Along with three (ECD and Robarts School for the Deaf) other provincial schools for the deaf in Ontario, it is operated by the Ministry of Education (Ontario) under Education Act of Ontario section 13 (1).Teachers are both deaf and hearing. Deaf student population is approximately 50 students in the senior school and 60 in the elementary school; total is 90 students. Deaf students from Canada often attend Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. and Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York for post-secondary programs.

Centennial Secondary School is a publicly funded high school in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. The school is part of the Hastings & Prince Edward District School Board. Centennial prides itself on its "Double A" rating, specializing in Arts, Academics and Athletics. The school is also recognized as the regional school for Visual and Performing Arts. As of the 2018-19 academic year, Centennial has an enrollment of 910 students.
