Dublin Port

The Dublin Waste-to-Energy Facility, also known as the Poolbeg Incinerator, is a waste-to-energy plant serving the Greater Dublin Area, located on the Poolbeg peninsula. The plant is capable of producing up to 60 megawatts of electricity, enough to power 80,000 homes, and provide district heating for up to 50,000 homes in the Dublin area. The facility will process up to 600,000 tonnes of waste per year. Poolbeg accepted its first delivery of waste on the 24th of April 2017. The proposal to build an incinerator at this location provoked controversy since its inception in 1997 with concerns about traffic and emissions, but construction work finally started in 2014.

Irishtown Nature Park is a small man-made park between Irishtown and Sandymount Strand in Dublin 4, Ireland that offers several kilometres of walking trails along the Poolbeg Peninsula.

The Irishtown Stadium is an association football stadium in the Republic of Ireland based in Ringsend/Irishtown, Dublin. It was originally built in the 1950s and used as a home ground by Shelbourne F.C. However Shels only spent one season, 1955–56, playing competitive first team matches there. The stadium was renovated in 2004 through funding provided by the city council along with Dublin Docklands Development Authority and the National Lottery, and is now managed by Dublin City Council. Irishtown Stadium features a pavilion which contains a fully equipped gymnasium, an aerobics studio and meeting rooms. There are also track and field facilities, including a 400m running track and long jump pits. Association football facilities include five floodlit, all-weather five-a-side football pitches and a full sized UEFA–standard astropitch. Its regular tenants/users include two association football clubs – St. Patrick's C.Y.F.C. and Liffey Wanderers F.C. – that play in the Leinster Senior League and Crusaders Athletics Club.

Poolbeg Lifeboat Station was located near Pigeon House Fort, on the artificial peninsula of Poolbeg, reclaimed land which extends out from Ringsend, Dublin, into Dublin Bay, in the administrative region of Fingal, historically County Dublin, on the east coast of Ireland. A lifeboat was first stationed at Poolbeg in 1804 by the Ship's Insurance Co. Management of the station was transferred to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in 1862. Poolbeg Lifeboat Station was closed in 1959.

St. Matthew's Church, is a Church of Ireland church in Ringsend and Irishtown in Dublin.

Ringsend College is a multi-denominational secondary school and further education college run by the City of Dublin Education and Training Board (CDETB). The college operates under a local Sub Committee which is representative of parents, staff, community, local primary schools and industry. It is chaired by Cllr. Kevin Humphreys. The original college was opened by the Earl of Pembroke on 7 October 1893 as a technical and fisheries college for the community of Ringsend. The Ringsend Technical Institute (the current form of the college) was opened by Taoiseach Garret FitzGerald on 15 April 1983, and was renamed to Ringsend College in 2011. The college offers a range of courses including Junior Cert, Leaving Cert, Repeat Leaving Cert, Post leaving Cert, and FIT/VTOS Adult programmes.

Irishtown (Irish: An Baile Gaelach) is an inner suburb of Dublin, Ireland. It is situated on the southside of the River Liffey, between Ringsend to the north and Sandymount to the south, and is to the east of the River Dodder.

Holy Faith Secondary School, Clontarf is a girls' voluntary second level school in Clontarf on the Northside of Dublin, Ireland. Founded by the Holy Faith Sisters in 1890, and originally providing both primary (mixed sex) and secondary education, it is since 2009 in the care of The Le Cheile Schools Trust. It is notable as one of the 25 schools (of around 800 in Ireland) with the highest progression to third level education. In 2020 it was ranked 1st in North Dublin, and 7th in Ireland, by the Sunday Times.

Tritonville Road (Irish: Bóthar Tritonville), Sandymount, Dublin 4, is connected to Lansdowne Road by both Herbert Road and Newbridge Avenue. At its southern end it meets Serpentine Avenue.The northern side of Tritonville road is considered to be part of Irishtown by the locals even though the post code is Sandymount. The street takes its name from the Tritonville baths, established by the Cranfield family in the late 18th century; these were in turn named after the sea-god Triton.In Ulysses, the funeral of Paddy Dignam passes along here and continues on to Glasnevin Cemetery via Irishtown.

Ringsend Public Library is an art deco style public library in Ringsend, Dublin designed by Robert Sorley Lawrie working in the city architect's office under Horace O'Rourke.This building was one of four similar libraries built by Dublin Corporation between 1935 and 1940 in the Dublin suburbs of Phibsborough, Ringsend, Drumcondra and Inchicore.
