Vineland Training School

The Daily Journal is a newspaper printed in Vineland, New Jersey from Monday to Saturday. It is distributed throughout most of Cumberland County in Southern New Jersey. Its main competitors are The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Courier Post and The Press of Atlantic City. The main focus is on communities in and around Vineland and Millville.

Sacred Heart High School was a co-educational four-year Catholic high school in Vineland, New Jersey, United States, operating under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden. The school had been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1963.As of the 2009–10 school year, the school had an enrollment of 288 students and 23.8 faculty (on an FTE basis), resulting in a student–teacher ratio of 12.1:1.

The Landis Theatre–Mori Brothers Building is located at 830–834 Landis Avenue in the city of Vineland in Cumberland County, New Jersey. The building was built in 1937 and its first movie was Hats Off. The theater serviced the USO during World War II, and the auditorium was twinned in 1980. After 50 years of service to the Vineland community, it closed finally in 1987, victim of declining revenue against the Demarco Cinemas nearby. Its last movie was House 2. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 22, 2000, for its significance in architecture, engineering, and entertainment/recreation. It was designed by Philadelphia architect William Harold Lee, who designed several historic theaters. Renovation of the theater was completed in early 2010, and it officially re-opened on May 22, with Bernadette Peters being the opening act.

Vineland is a city and the most populous municipality in Cumberland County, within the U.S. state of New Jersey. Bridgeton and Vineland are the two principal cities of the Vineland-Bridgeton metropolitan statistical area, which encompasses those cities and all of Cumberland County for statistical purposes and which constitutes a part of the Delaware Valley (the Philadelphia metropolitan area). The MSA had a population of 156,898 as of the 2010 census. As of the 2020 United States census, the city's population was 60,780, its highest decennial count ever and an increase of 56 (+0.1%) from the 60,724 recorded at the 2010 census, which in turn had reflected an increase of 4,453 (+7.9%) from the 56,271 counted at the 2000 census. The Census Bureau's Population Estimates Program calculated that the city's population was 60,491 in 2022, ranking the city the 639th-most-populous in the country.Vineland was formed on July 1, 1952, through the merger of Landis Township and Vineland Borough, based on the results of a referendum held on February 5, 1952. Festivities on July 1, 1952, when the merger took effect, included a parade and speeches from such notables as Senator Estes Kefauver. The name is derived from the plans of its founder to use the land to grow grapes.Geographically, the city is part of South Jersey. It has large Italian-American and Hispanic-American populations.

Vineland Public Schools is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from Vineland, in Cumberland County, New Jersey, United States. The district is one of 31 former Abbott districts statewide that were established pursuant to the decision by the New Jersey Supreme Court in Abbott v. Burke which are now referred to as "SDA Districts" based on the requirement for the state to cover all costs for school building and renovation projects in these districts under the supervision of the New Jersey Schools Development Authority.As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprised of 14 schools, had an enrollment of 10,266 students and 731.9 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.0:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "A", the lowest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. Vineland Senior High School South is a public high school located in Vineland, New Jersey, as part of the Vineland Public Schools. The school opened in 1963. It holds classes for 11th and 12th grade students, as well as a small number of students from other grades. It was considered to be a different school but on the same campus of Vineland Senior High School North, but as of 2010-11 operates on a consolidated basis as Vineland High School. As of the 2008-09 school year, the school had an enrollment of 2,830 students and 198.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.3.The school was the 222nd-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 316 schools statewide, in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2008 cover story on the state's Top Public High Schools. The school was ranked 194th in the magazine's September 2006 issue, which surveyed 316 schools across the state.A proposed dress code, slated to take effect for the 2006-07 school year, had given way to controversy and debate among students and parents.

Vineland High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in Vineland, in Cumberland County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as part of the Vineland Public Schools. The now reunified school operates from a south campus that had been Vineland Senior High School South (which opened in 1963) and a north campus that was formerly Vineland Senior High School North (opened in 1976). The original high school in Vineland dates back to 1870, and the 1927 Vineland High School structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 3, 1995, and is now used as district offices. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1936; The school's accreditation status was extended for seven years in Fall 2018.As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 2,780 students and 178.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 15.6:1. There were 3 students (0.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and none listed as eligible for reduced-cost lunch. Based on 2021-22 data from the New Jersey Department of Education, it was the ninth-largest high school in the state and one of 29 schools with more than 2,000 students.

Vineland Senior High School North is a public high school located in Vineland, in Cumberland County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Vineland Public Schools. The school opened in 1976. It holds classes for 9th and 10th grade students, as well a small number of students from other grades. It is considered to be a different school, but on the same campus of Vineland Senior High School South. As of the 2005–06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,314 students and 122.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.8.

Landis Intermediate School used to be a public middle school in Vineland, Cumberland County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Vineland Public Schools. Its last year was 2017-2018. The only grades that were held those years were 7th and 8th. It opened as Vineland High School in 1928 and was designed by James Oscar Betelle. As the population of Vineland grew and Vineland High School got overcrowded, it became necessary to construct a new high school. With the construction of Vineland Senior High School South in 1963 (and the further construction of Vineland Senior High School North in 1976) Vineland High School got degraded to Landis Intermediate School. As of the 2008-09 school year, the school had an enrollment of 503 students and 48.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 10.3.Listed as the Vineland High School, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 3, 1995, for its significance in architecture and education.

Minotola is an unincorporated community located within Buena Borough, in Atlantic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.The Minotola Post Office was founded by John H. Sims in 1897.

The St. Padre Pio Shrine is an outdoor Roman Catholic shrine in the Landisville section of Buena, New Jersey dedicated to the 20th-century Italian saint Padre Pio and completed in 2002.
