The Augusta Fells Savage Institute of Visual Arts (AFSIVA) is a public high school in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is named after Augusta Savage, a sculptor associated with the Harlem Renaissance. The school opened in 2004 within the former campus of Southwestern High School as part of a program intended to break up larger high schools in to smaller, more individualized schools. It graduated its first class in 2007.

The district contains approximately 1,300 buildings of which approximately 1,250 contribute to the significance of the historic district.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Public School No. 111, also known as Francis Ellen Harper School, is a historic elementary school located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a Romanesque brick structure that features an ornately detailed brick front façade. It was built in 1889 as Colored School #9 and is one of the few surviving schools built for black children and staffed by black teachers. The school is named after Francis Ellen Harper (1825-1911), a Baltimore-born African American poet.Public School No. 111 was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Known locally as Sandtown, the community's name was derived from the trails of sand that dropped from wagons leaving town after filling up at the local sand and gravel quarry back in the days of horse-drawn wagons. It is located north of Lafayette Street, west of Fremont Avenue, south of North Avenue, and east of Monroe Street, covering an area of 72 square blocks, patrolled by the Baltimore Police Department's Western District. It was constructed in 1868 by Edward Davis as the principal residence for Matthew Bacon Sellers, Sr., who was President of the Northern Central Railway.Sellers Mansion was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.Sellers Mansion was demolished on February 24, 2023 after a three-alarm fire.

St. Luke's Church, is a historic Episcopal church located in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a Gothic Revival-style church that follows the dictates of the Ecclesiological Society reflecting English medieval building principles. It is composed of a tall nave, flanked by side aisles below a clerestory, and features a crenelated tower with lancet windows. Rose windows exist at the west end of the nave and along the clerestory. It was the largest Episcopal church in Baltimore upon its completion in 1851.St. Luke's Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
