Hollywood GAA is a Gaelic football club in Hollywood, County Wicklow, Ireland. The club competes in Wicklow GAA competitions.

The Piper's Stones or the Athgreany stone circle is a Bronze Age stone circle at Athgreany, County Wicklow. It sits on a low hillock overlooking the N81, 2 km south of Hollywood.

Poulaphouca, officially Pollaphuca (Irish: Poll an Phúca, meaning 'the Púca's hole'), is the name of a waterfall and bridge on the River Liffey between County Wicklow and County Kildare. It is primarily known for its hydroelectric generating station and the associated artificial lake, known as Poulaphouca Reservoir, Poulaphouca Lake, or Blessington Lakes. The once-famous Poulaphouca Waterfall has little water running over it any longer because of the hydroelectric project.

Golden Falls hydroelectric power station is a hydroelectric plant located on the River Liffey in County Kildare, Ireland. It is owned and operated by the ESB Group.

Church Mountain, also called Slieve Gad (Irish: Sliabh gCod / Sliabh an Chodaigh, meaning 'mountain of the covenant'), is the westernmost of the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. It is 544 metres (1,785 ft) high. At the summit are the remains of a large ancient cairn of pagan origin. This cairn was partially destroyed and a small building, apparently a church, was built on it in the Middle Ages. Pilgrims formerly climbed the mountain during the festival of Lughnasa to visit a holy well on the summit.The mountain lies roughly halfway between Hollywood to the north and Donard to the south.

St. John's Church (officially "The Church of Saint John the Evangelist") is a Church of Ireland church located in Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare, Ireland. The current church, built in 1820, consecrated in 1822 and extended in 1894, stands close to the site of a medieval church first mentioned in 1192. The church, which cost £900 to build, was financially assisted by the Board of First Fruits, and included extensive use of local granite. Interior features of the church include memorial plaques and stained-glass windows dedicated to families historically connected to the local area, as well as a number of memorials to locals who fell in the First World War. Stained glass windows in the church include those produced by James Powell and Sons (est. 1834) of London, and John Hardman and Company of Birmingham. The local nineteenth century diarist Elizabeth Smith described the church thus: "The church is a plain building with an embattled tower surmounted with pinnacles... the churchyard is of great extent, and contains the remains of an old church, and numerous ancient tombstones. In the R.C. division... the chapel at Ballymore is a substantial and commodious building, and there is another at Hollywood...".

Ballymore Eustace GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club in Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare, Republic of Ireland, winner of the county senior football championships in 1953, completing the remarkable achievement of winning junior, intermediate and senior titles in successive years.

Ballymore Eustace (Irish: An Baile Mór, meaning 'the big town') is a small town situated in County Kildare in Ireland, although until 1836 it lay within an exclave (a detached "pocket") of County Dublin. It lies close to the border with County Wicklow. The town's name, which is frequently shortened to "Ballymore" in everyday usage, derives from the Irish An Baile Mór ("the big town") with the addition – to distinguish it from several other Ballymores in Ireland – of the family name (Fitz)Eustace. A fuller version of the town's official name in Irish is Baile Mór na nIústasach ("big town of the Eustaces"). Prior to the Norman invasion the area was known as Críoch Ua Cormaic.

Barretstown Castle is a castle in Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare, Ireland. It stands on the site of a late 12th century Anglo-Norman castle. It now hosts the Barretstown camp for sick children.

Russborough House is a stately house near the Blessington Lakes in County Wicklow, Republic of Ireland. Located between the towns of Blessington and Ballymore Eustace, it is an outstanding example of Palladian architecture, designed by Richard Cassels (also commonly known as Richard Castle) for Joseph Leeson, 1st Earl of Milltown and built between 1741 and 1755. With a frontage measuring 210 m (690 ft), it may be the longest house in Ireland. The interior contains fine ornate plasterwork on the ceilings by the Lafranchini brothers, who also collaborated with Castle on Carton House. Russborough contains an important private collection of European fine and decorative arts, including furniture, silver, porcelain and paintings. Russborough is open to visitors and is located on a 200-acre (81 ha) estate, with many of the original 18th-century features still in place including the Walled Garden, the ice-house, the lime kiln and the serpentine lakes. There is a restaurant, shop and 2 km (1.2 mi) maze.

Barretstown is a not-for-profit camp for children with cancer and other serious illnesses located at Barretstown Castle, Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare, in Ireland. It was founded in 1994 by Hollywood actor Paul Newman and is a member of the SeriousFun Children's Network of camps across the world.The children attending, aged from seven to seventeen, come from Ireland and more than twenty other European countries to take part in activities the camp provides such as arts and crafts, canoeing and outdoor adventure. After successfully overcoming the initial challenge of these activities, the camp says that children stop seeing themselves as 'sick kids' and begin to regain their own inner strength, confidence and self-esteem through therapeutic recreation.
