H. Lauter Company Complex, also known as J. Solotken Company, Lauter Lofts, and Harding Street Lofts, is a historic factory complex located at Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built between 1894 and 1912, and includes the South Factory, the North Factory, and the Office Building. The factory buildings are in the Italianate and the office building is in the Classical Revival style. The North Factory is a four-story brick building with a raised full basement constructed sometime between 1908 and 1912. The Office Building is a two-story brick building constructed between 1899 and 1908 and has a truncated hipped roof. The four-story, "U"-shaped core of the South Factory was built in two phases; the eastern portion between 1894 and 1898 and the western portion in 1899. The H. Lauter Company furniture manufacturer began in 1894 and they continued to operate at the location until 1936. The buildings have been converted to condominiums and apartments.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Indianapolis Metropolitan High School, known as "Indy Met" for short, is a public charter high school in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. Indy Met currently enrolls students from grades nine through twelve. It was established on August 24, 2004, by Goodwill Education Initiatives.

The Ball Residence Hall, originally known as the Ball Nurses' Residence and Ball Nurses' home, is located at 1226 W Michigan St, Indianapolis, IN 46202 in the US State of Indiana, and was constructed in 1928. The Ball Residence Hall, colloquially referred to as Ball Hall, is a four-story Georgian Revival style building constructed out of Indiana limestone and red brick. The building served as an extension of the Indiana University School of Medicine for the training of student nurses but has transitioned to a first-year student residence hall for all of IUPUI. Ball Residence Hall is located on the west site of the Indiana University Indianapolis campus adjacent to the Ball Nurses' Sunken Gardens and across from the Rotary Building.

North American Plains Animals, is a series of public sculptures by American artist William E. Arnold, located on the grounds of the Indianapolis Zoo in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. The series of eight animals, all made of barbed wire, are located throughout the grounds of the Indianapolis Zoo. Each sculpture is representative of an animal indigenous to the North American plains, including a bear, bison, whitetail deer, ram, eagle, and caribou.

The Indianapolis Zoo is a 64-acre (26 ha) non-profit zoo, public aquarium, and botanical garden in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. Incorporated in 1944, the Indianapolis Zoological Society established the first zoo at George Washington Park in 1964. The current zoo opened in 1988 at White River State Park near downtown Indianapolis. It is among the largest privately funded zoos in the U.S.The institution is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and American Alliance of Museums and is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums. It was the first in the U.S. to receive triple accreditation as a zoo, aquarium, and botanical garden. The zoo is a leader in animal conservation and research, recognized for its biennial Indianapolis Prize and as home to the Global Center for Species Survival through its partnership with the International Union for Conservation of Nature.In 2020, the zoo housed more than 1,400 animals of 235 species while the adjoining White River Gardens contained more than 50,000 plants of nearly 3,000 species, respectively. The Indianapolis Zoo is a significant economic driver in the city and among its most visited attractions. In 2021, the zoo employed 700 people and welcomed 1.2 million guests, contributing nearly $60 million annually to the city's economy.

IU Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium is a 12,100-seat soccer and track and field stadium located in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. It is the home of the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Jaguars track and field and soccer teams. It was also the original home of the Indy Eleven. The stadium is named for Indianapolis civic leader Michael A. Carroll. The stadium was built in 1982 for $7 million as a track and field venue. The facility has hosted the Athletics Competitions of the 1987 Pan American Games, 2001 World Police and Fire Games, several USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and NCAA Championships as well as the 1988 US Olympic Trials where Florence Griffith-Joyner set the women's 100 metres world record of 10.49 that stands to this day. The site features a 400-meter Mondo track with eight lanes. The stadium was renovated in 2013–2014 to accommodate the Indy Eleven. As part of the Indy Eleven's move to the United Soccer League in 2018, the team moved to Lucas Oil Stadium but returned for the 2019 playoff season.

The Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute is located at the corner of West Drive and Michigan Avenue on the IUPUI campus. The facility provides research opportunities for Ophthalmology and clinical services for patients at nearby healthcare facilities including Riley Childrens Hospital and University Hospital.

The Ball Nurses' Sunken Garden and Convalescent Park were constructed between 1930 and 1940.: 2–3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

The Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital is a public hospital located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The hospital is the flagship medical center for Eskenazi Health, founded in 1859 as Indiana's oldest public healthcare system. The hospital is operated by Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County. The current hospital opened December 7, 2013, less than 1,300 feet (400 m) to the west of the original campus, replacing Wishard Memorial Hospital.Many of Eskenazi Hospital's 4,620 medical staff are provided by a mix of faculty, residents, and students of the adjacent Indiana University School of Medicine. The hospital is an Adult Level I Trauma Center and serves about 1 million outpatients annually.
