Torre Emperador

The Torre de Cristal (Spanish for Glass Tower) is a skyscraper in the Cuatro Torres Business Area (CTBA) in Madrid, Spain, completed in 2008. With a final height of 249 m (817 ft), it surpassed Torre Emperador as the tallest building in Spain, and is the fourth-tallest in the European Union. It was designed by Cesar Pelli and built by Dragados.

Raimundo Saporta Pavilion (originally known as Pabellón de la Ciudad Deportiva del Real Madrid) was an indoor arena located in Madrid, Spain. It was used particularly for basketball matches of Real Madrid. Until 1999, it was known as the Pabellón de la Ciudad Deportiva del Real Madrid, when it was renamed in honor of the former president of Real Madrid's basketball team, the late Raimundo Saporta.The arena was demolished in 2004.

Área de negocios de Cuatro Torres (ANCA or CTBA), Spanish for "Four Towers Business Area", is a business district located in the Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid, Spain, on the former Ciudad Deportiva of Real Madrid. The area contains the four tallest skyscrapers in Spain, and four of the ten tallest in the European Union: the Torre Emperador, Torre de Cristal, Torre PwC and Torre Cepsa. Construction of the buildings finished in 2008. Now, a fifth tower, Caleido, has already finished in 2021.

Begoña is a station on Line 10 of the Madrid Metro. It is located in fare Zone A. It lies directly below the major road Paseo de la Castellana which separates the districts of Fuencarral-El Pardo (La Paz neighbourhood) to the west and Chamartín to the east, though access is only via the west side of the road (a pedestrian subway access allows access to the station from the east). Despite giving service to the Cuatro Torres Business Area and two large hospitals—La Paz and Ramón y Cajal—the station continues to have no disabled access as of 2020. This has caused much discontent with its frequent users, although there are plans for the construction of new elevator shafts.

Ciudad Deportiva was Real Madrid's former training complex located on the Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid, Spain.

The Hospital Universitario La Paz, HULP, is a general tertiary hospital situated in the neighbourhood that takes its name from the hospital in the northern city district of Fuencarral-El Pardo in the city of Madrid in Spain. It is affiliated to the Madrid Regional Health Care System (Servicio Madrileño de Salud-SERMAS) a branch of the Commonwealth of Madrid (the autonomous region's executive administration). The hospital opened in July 1964, being at that time the first modern hospital centre in the country. It was named to celebrate the 25 years of francoist peace after the Spanish Civil War. Today, it remains one of the largest hospitals in Madrid by number of in-patients (it serves a population in excess of 500000 people) and one of the biggest of Spain from the number of beds. Remarkably, it was named the best-valued public-owned hospital in 2018. Among its wards they are particularly renowned the ones devoted to Cardiovascular disease, Hematology, Neonatology and Organ transplantation. Moreover, the HULP coordinates a European Reference Network for pediatric transplantation, funded by the European Commission.HULP's headquarters are concentrated in a campus at the northern end of Paseo de la Castellana avenue and comprises 18 buildings that forms three major separate hospitals: General, Children's and Trauma. Administratively, the HULP also includes the smaller Hospital de Cantoblanco and Hospital Carlos III. Hospital Carlos III houses the infectious diseases area and it is widely recognized by hosting patients of both Ebola, during the 2013-2016 West-Africa Ebola outbreak, and Crimean–Congo hemorrhagic fever.After the opening (1968) of the Autonomous University of Madrid-UAM's School of Medicine close to the HULP campus, it becomes its clinical reference site. Many of HULP's practitioners also serve as Associate Lecturers at UAM.

The Torre PwC, formerly Torre Sacyr Vallehermoso, is a 52-floor, 236-metre-tall (774 ft) skyscraper, completed in 2008, located in Madrid, Spain. Torre PwC is one of four buildings in the Cuatro Torres Business Area. It was designed by Carlos Rubio Carvajal and Enrique Álvarez-Sala Walter and was built by Sacyr Sau.It houses the five-star hotel Eurostars Madrid Tower, which occupies 60% of the tower, with rooms between floors 6 and 27 and at its upper part, a two-storey dining room offering a panoramic view of the city. The professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) moved its offices in the capital (about 2500 professionals) to this building in July 2011, taking up seventeen floors, between floors 34 and 50, which were vacant at that time. On the same date, the PwC logo was mounted at the top of the building, becoming the highest logo in Spain, installed at almost 236 meters of height. All the office floors have the same area of 1,258.23 m2 (13,543.5 sq ft) and are divided into three sectors or segments. Floors 51-58 are intended for general facilities and equipment of the tower. The building was renamed Torre PwC instead of Torre Sacyr Vallehermoso, after PwC relocated to the tower in 2011.It is the only tower with double skin facade and it is covered entirely of glass in the form of flakes. On the upper deck there are 3 wind turbines, of 2.5 kW each, capable of producing wind energy for use in the building.

Caleido is an 181-metre (594 ft) tall, 36-story skyscraper in Madrid. It is popularly known as Quinta Torre (Fifth Tower) as it stands close to the other four skyscrapers of the Cuatro Torres Business Area (CTBA) complex along the Paseo de la Castellana. As of 2021, Instituto de Empresa (IE) is the main tenant. Its construction started in April 2017 and the tower was formally completed on 19 October, 2021.It occupies the former site of the Centro Internacional de Convenciones de la Ciudad de Madrid. It is the fifth tallest building in Madrid and seventh tallest in Spain. The building was designed by architecture firms Fenwick Iribarren and Serrano-Suñer Arquitectura. The main contractor was OHL Desarrollos.

The Embassy of the United Kingdom in Madrid is the chief diplomatic mission of the United Kingdom in Spain. Since 2009 the Embassy has been located in the Torre Espacio skyscraper in the Cuatro Torres Business Area. The current British Ambassador to Spain is Hugh Elliott.

The International Convention Center of the City of Madrid (Spanish: Centro Internacional de Convenciones de la Ciudad de Madrid) was a skyscraper project in Madrid, Spain. It was designed to be 119 meters tall and was scheduled to be opened in 2014. Architects: Emilio Tuñón Álvarez (Mansilla+Tuñón) Luis Moreno Mansilla (Mansilla+Tuñón) Matilde Peralta del Amo.

The Torre Cepsa (renamed in June 2014, before was Torre Bankia)(English: Cepsa Tower) is a skyscraper located in the Cuatro Torres Business Area in Madrid, Spain. With a height of 248.3 m (815 ft) and 45 floors, it is the second tallest of the four buildings in the Cuatro Torres Business Area complex, surpassed by Torre de Cristal by less than a metre. It is the second tallest building in Spain and the 4th tallest building in the European Union. Designed by Lord Foster, it was first known as Torre Repsol and would have served as headquarters for Repsol YPF oil and gas company. During the construction of the tower, Repsol decided to change the location of its future headquarters and the financial institution Caja Madrid purchased the building for €815 million in August 2007.In 2016 it was bought by Amancio Ortega, Europe's richest man and founder of global fashion group and Zara owner Inditex (ITX.MC), for €490 million euros through his property investment arm, Pontegadea Inmobiliaria, one of the biggest property companies in Spain. He purchased the tower from Abu Dhabi tycoon Khadem al-Qubaisi, whose fund had exercised a last-minute purchase option from Spanish lender Bankia (BKIA.MC), its previous owner.It was built by a joint venture of Dragados and Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas.

The Statue of Lázaro Cárdenas is an instance of public art in Madrid, Spain. Erected at the Parque Norte, it pays homage to Mexican President Lázaro Cárdenas, noted for welcoming into Mexico thousands of Spanish Republican exiles fleeing the Spanish Civil War and the ensuing Francoist dictatorship.
