Sawyer Point Park & Yeatman's Cove are a pair of side-by-side parks on the riverfront of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The two linear parks stretch one mile along the north shore of the Ohio River. Since 2012, the parks have been the location for the annual Bunbury Music Festival.

The Miami and Erie Canal was a 274-mile (441 km) canal that ran from Cincinnati to Toledo, Ohio, creating a water route between the Ohio River and Lake Erie. Construction on the canal began in 1825 and was completed in 1845 at a cost to the state government of $8,062,680.07. At its peak, it included 19 aqueducts, three guard locks, 103 canal locks, multiple feeder canals, and a few man-made water reservoirs. The canal climbed 395 feet (120 m) above Lake Erie and 513 feet (156 m) above the Ohio River to reach a topographical peak called the Loramie Summit, which extended 19 miles (31 km) between New Bremen, Ohio to lock 1-S in Lockington, north of Piqua, Ohio. Boats up to 80 feet long were towed along the canal by mules, horses, or oxen walking on a prepared towpath along the bank, at a rate of four to five miles per hour. Due to competition from railroads, which began to be built in the area in the 1850s, the commercial use of the canal gradually declined during the late 19th century. It was permanently abandoned for commercial use in 1913 after a historic flood in Ohio severely damaged it. Only a small fraction of the canal survives today, along with its towpath and locks.

The Anna Louise Inn is a women's facility in Cincinnati, Ohio, providing affordable housing and supportive services to economically vulnerable single women, supporting them to reach greater self-sufficiency. It is operated by HER Cincinnati, formerly, Cincinnati Union Bethel (CUB), a charitable group founded in 1830.Since 1909, the Anna Louise Inn has provided safe and affordable housing for single women. It offers its residents a positive and supportive community to enable their success. The majority of residents have complex and long-term health conditions (such as mental illness, drug abuse, physical disabilities, or other medical conditions), With 85 single-occupancy apartments, each unit features a full kitchen, bedroom, furniture and bathroom.

The Taft Museum of Art is a fine art collection in Cincinnati, Ohio. It occupies the 200-year-old historic house at 316 Pike Street. The house – the oldest domestic wooden structure in downtown Cincinnati – was built about 1820 and housed several prominent Cincinnatians, including Martin Baum, Nicholas Longworth, David Sinton, Anna Sinton Taft and Charles Phelps Taft. It is on the National Register of Historic Places listings, and is a contributing property to the Lytle Park Historic District.

The Lytle Tunnel is a vehicular tunnel that carries Interstate 71 (I-71) under the historic Lytle Park in Cincinnati, in the U.S. state of Ohio, connecting Fort Washington Way to the Northeast Expressway. It is a six-lane tunnel with three tubes. There is a two-lane southbound tube, a three lane-northbound tube, and a one-lane southbound tube that separates from the highway and serves as an exit ramp to the downtown area. The tunnel is ventilated by two grates in the northbound tube and the southbound exiting tube. It was completed in 1970. At 335 meters (1,099 feet), it is the longest vehicular tunnel in Ohio. It is also the only tunnel on I-71. During the construction of the Lytle Tunnel, many historic buildings were razed for the project. The old Lytle Park was similar to a town square, with many Greek Revival buildings surrounding the park. On the park's east side is the Taft Museum of Art. A few of the original buildings remain, including the Literary Club of Cincinnati, the Anna Louise Inn, Guilford School building, and the Phelps Apartments. A CB radio broadcast on channel 19, the most commonly used commercial trucking frequency, loops a warning about this turn and its hazards 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

An 11-foot (3.4 m) bronze statue of Abraham Lincoln is installed in Lytle Park within downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, United States.The Charles P. Taft family commissioned artist George Grey Barnard to complete a statue in commemoration of the centenary of Lincoln's birth. The sculpture was unveiled at Lytle Park on March 31, 1917. Former U.S. President William Howard Taft, the younger brother of Charles, delivered the dedication speech.Two more castings of Barnard's statue exist, one in Louisville, Kentucky, and one in Manchester, England.

The Literary Club of Cincinnati is located at 500 East Fourth Street, across from Lytle Park in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The club occupies a two-story Greek Revival house which was built in 1820, on the site of the home of William Sargent, secretary of the Northwest Territory. The Club was founded in 1849; its membership is limited to 100 men.The club was founded by woman's rights activist and abolitionist John Celivergos Zachos, Stanley Matthews (judge), Ainsworth Rand Spofford librarian of congress and 9 others. One year later President Rutherford B. Hayes became a member. Other prominent members included President William Howard Taft and notable club guests Ralph Waldo Emerson, Booker T. Washington, Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Oscar Wilde and Robert Frost.Today, the clubhouse is a contributing property to the Lytle Park Historic District, a historic district that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Among the important roles of the Literary Club is that of historian, who delivers an annual paper on a topic of his choosing that deals with the history of the club. The long-time historian was John A. Diehl, who was elected a member of the club in 1965. After his more than two decades in the post, the club published a book of his papers as historian. The current historian is Robert Vitz.

Guilford School is a historic former schoolhouse, now housing commercial offices, on the east side of Downtown Cincinnati at 421 E 4th Street. The building is adjacent to Lytle Park is a contributing property to the Lytle Park Historic District. Guilford School was dedicated May 16, 1914, and named for Nathan Guilford (1786-1854), an early advocate for Ohio education. The building stands on the site of Fort Washington and later also the boardinghouse where Stephen Foster, then a steamboat worker, stayed from 1846 to 1850. It was designed by Frederick W. Garber. It is now owned by Western & Southern Life Insurance.

The Cincinnati–Newport Bridge, also known as the Central Bridge, was a cantilever bridge which crossed the Ohio River between Newport, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio. It was completed in 1890 and demolished in 1992 to make way for the Taylor-Southgate Bridge, which opened in 1995. Some pieces of the ornate ironwork were transferred from the Cincinnati–Newport Bridge to the Taylor-Southgate Bridge.

The Taylor–Southgate Bridge is a continuous truss bridge that was built in 1995. It has a main span of 850 feet (260 m), and a total span of 1,850 feet (560 m). The bridge carries U.S. Route 27 across the Ohio River, connecting Newport, Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio. Some regard this bridge, which was a replacement for the Cincinnati-Newport Bridge built by Samuel Bigstaff, as a little too plain in its design for a major urban bridge, especially considering many cities today are opting for a more elegant design, such as a cable stayed bridge.The bridge is named for the families of James Taylor, Jr. and Richard Southgate, two important early settlers of Newport. Richard was the father of William Wright Southgate, a pre Civil War Congressman from northern Kentucky. The bridge replaced the Cincinnati-Newport Bridge, a truss bridge built in 1890. Commonly known as Central Bridge, it was demolished in 1992.

Lytle Park Historic District is a historic district in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Roughly bounded by 3rd, 5th, Sycamore, Commercial Sq., and Butler Sts. in downtown Cincinnati, it centers on Lytle Park. In 2014, Western & Southern Financial Group, owner of many properties within the Lytle Park Historic District asked the city to remove historic status of several historic buildings. The company hopes to demolish sections of the district in order to build new office space.

The Mount Adams Incline was a funicular, or inclined railway, located in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Mount Adams. Completed in 1872, it was the longest-running of the city's five inclines, closing in 1948. It has since been demolished.The incline was 945 feet (288 m) long and carried streetcars and automobiles.
