Gallarus Castle

The Gallarus Oratory (Irish: Séipéilín Ghallarais) is a chapel on the Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, Ireland. It has been presented variously as an early-Christian stone church by antiquary Charles Smith, in 1756; a 12th-century Romanesque church by archaeologist Peter Harbison in 1970; a shelter for pilgrims by the same in 1994. The local tradition prevalent at the time of Charles Smith attributed it to one Griffith More, being a funerary chapel built by him or his family at their burial place. The oratory overlooks the harbour at Ard na Caithne (formerly also called Smerwick) on the Dingle Peninsula. Saints road (Cosán na Naomh), an old pilgrimage road less than 300 metres away, leads to the summit of Mount Brandon, which can be seen in the background of the oratory.

An Ghaeltacht is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in County Kerry. The club competes in the Kerry Intermediate Football Championship. It also competes in the West Kerry Football Championship, Division 1 of the Kerry County League and the annual All Ireland Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta.

Reask (Irish: Riasc) is a ruined early Monastic site located 1 km east of Baile an Fheirtéaraigh, County Kerry, Ireland. The remains of the site include the low remnants of buildings and enclosure walls and a cross-slab standing stone which sits in the middle of the compound. Some of the artefacts found in the excavation at Reask, including some of the cross-inscribed stones, are on display in Músaem Chorca Dhuibhne, which is in the nearby village of Baile an Fheirtéaraigh. The Reask Cross Pillar is similar to the pillars found nearby at Kilfountain and Kilmalkedar on the Dingle Peninsula. The site is a National Monument in state care.

Feothanach or an Fheothanach (formerly anglicised as Feohanagh) is a small village and townland in the Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht, located 13 km (8.1 mi) north-west of Dingle on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. It is at the foot of Mount Brandon. RTÉ newsreader Siún Nic Gearailt is from the area as well as RTÉ's and TG4's Dáithí Ó Sé. Local amenities include An Cúinne Pub, Dingle's Coláiste Gaeilge, and a local RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta studio. There is an Irish College in the village operated by the Coláistí Chorca Dhuibhne in the summer months. Students attend classes in the local primary school and activities are held in the local community hall in the village.

Caherboshina (Irish: Cathair Bó Sine) is a townland situated approximately 4 kilometres from Dingle (Daingean Uí Chúis) in County Kerry, Ireland. Its position lies at the almost latitudinal centre of Ireland's most westerly land-mass, Corcha Dhuibhne (the Dingle Peninsula).

Baile na nGall (Irish, meaning "town of the foreigners), unofficially anglicized as "Ballydavid", is a Gaeltacht village is situated on the Dingle Peninsula of County Kerry, Ireland. As the 2003 Official Languages Act revoked the status of the English language name Ballydavid, the official name is Baile na nGall. The village is near to Gallarus Castle, a 15th-century tower built by the Knight of Kerry, the holder of a hereditary knighthood belonging to the Geraldine Dynasty. It is now an Irish heritage site and stands about one kilometre from the better known and more historically significant Gallarus Oratory. RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta has a broadcast studio just outside the village. The radio tower is also a transmission site for RTÉ Network Limited. The Marilyn, Ballydavid Head, has a relative height of 247 metres.
