Chonburi Stadium

CentralPlaza Chonburi is a shopping and entertainment complex located on Sukhumvit Rd., Chonburi, Thailand. The shopping mall opened its doors on May 29, 2009. It has more than 200 brand-name stores on a commercial area of 100,000 square metres (1,100,000 sq ft). The mall is one of the largest lifestyle shopping complexes in the Eastern Region of Thailand, providing complete offerings, including Robinson Department Store, Big C hypermarket, retail shops, restaurants and an entertainment complex. The total cost of the shopping complex was 4,6 billion baht. It is 160 metres (520 ft) wide and 300 metres (980 ft) long.

Chonburi Hospital (Thai: โรงพยาบาลชลบุรี) is the main hospital of Chonburi Province, Thailand and is classified under the Ministry of Public Health as a regional hospital. It has a CPIRD Medical Education Center which trains doctors for the Faculty of Medicine of Chulalongkorn University. It is an affiliated teaching hospital of Phramongkutklao College of Medicine.

Mueang Chonburi (Thai: เมืองชลบุรี, RTGS: Mueang Chon Buri, pronounced [mɯ̄a̯ŋ t͡ɕʰōn bū.rīː]) is the capital district (amphoe mueang) of Chonburi province, eastern Thailand.

Chonkanyanukoon School (Thai: โรงเรียนชลกันยานุกูล, RTGS: Rongrian Chon Kanyanukun, pronounced [rōːŋ.rīan t͡ɕʰōn kān.jāː.núʔ.kūːn]) is a state school in Tambon Bang Pla Soi, Amphoe Mueang Chonburi in Chon Buri. The school admits female junior high school students (mathayom 1–3, equivalent to grade 7–9), while the upper secondary (mathayom 4–6, equivalent to grade 10–12) part of the school is coeducational.

Chonburi (Thai: ชลบุรี, RTGS: Chon Buri, IAST: jalapurī, pronounced [tɕ͡ʰōn bū.rīː] ) is the capital of Chonburi Province and, as part of the district Mueang Chonburi, the seventh-largest city in Thailand. It is about 100 km southeast of Bangkok, on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, and has an urban population of 342,959. Its name means 'city of water'. Chonburi, along with the urban areas of Si Racha and Pattaya, forms a conurbation known as the Pattaya-Chonburi Metropolitan Area, which has a total population of 999,092. Chonburi town has had town (thesaban mueang) status since 1935 and makes up only a small part of the current city-scape.

Chonburi station (Thai: สถานีชลบุรี) is a railway station located Ban Suan Subdistrict, Chonburi City, Chonburi. It is a class 1 railway station 107.795 km (67.0 mi) from Bangkok railway station. The station opened in July 1989 as part of the Eastern Line Chachoengsao Junction–Sattahip Port section.

Khao Sam Muk (Thai: เขาสามมุข, pronounced [kʰǎw sǎːm múk]), is a 45 m (147.64 ft) high hill in Chonburi Province, Thailand. It is in Chonburi city on Bangkok Bay between Ang Sila and Bang Saen Beach. There is a Chinese shrine of Mazu on the hilltop which affords views of the surrounding landscape, including Bang Saen Beach, and there is another shrine at the foot of the escarpment. This shrine is a Thai shrine built according to the legend of this hill.

The Bangsaen Street Circuit is a 3.700 km (2.299 mi) motorsport circuit in Bang Saen, Chonburi. The circuit was opened in 2007 and it hosts Speed Festival once a year. Before hosting international events in 2017, the circuit was redeveloped by Apex Circuit Design.

Wat Saen Suk (Thai: วัดแสนสุข) or Wang Saen Suk Monastery Garden (also known as Wang Saen Suk Hell Garden and Thailand Hell Horror Park) is a buddhist temple located in Bang Saen city, Chonburi province, Thailand. A popular tourist attraction, it is meant to describe and depict Naraka (Buddhist hell).

Burapha University (BUU) (Thai: มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา) is one of Thailand's public universities. It is in the coastal town of Saen Suk, near the beach of Bangsaen in Chonburi province. It was established on 8 July 1955, originating from Bangsaen Educational College which was the first regional tertiary educational institute. The university offers degrees in more than 50 programs of study, including 75 master's programs, three EdD programs, and 22 PhD programs. Burapha University has three campuses: Burapha University, Chonburi Campus, Mueang Chonburi district, Chonburi province established in 1955. Burapha University, Chanthaburi Campus, Tha Mai district, Chanthaburi province established in 1996. Burapha University, Sakaeo Campus, Watthana Nakhon district, Sa Kaeo province established in 1997.The university colors are gray and gold. Gray represents the progress of intellectual knowledge. Gold represents morality. The colors represent University's commitment to the intellectual knowledge and morality.In September 2016, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha invoked Section 44 of the interim charter allowing him to form a special panel to take over administration of the university as it was judged to be incapable of administering itself.

The Institute of Marine Science, Burapha University (Thai: สถาบันวิทยาศาสตร์ทางทะเล มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา), also colloquially known as the Bangsaen Aquarium (พิพิธภัณฑ์สัตว์น้ำบางแสน), is one of Thailand's oldest and most renowned aquaria. It is located within Burapha University (BUU), Chonburi province, near the beach of Bangsaen. The aquarium has been operating since the 1980s. At the entrance to the exhibition hall, visitors can see the skeleton of a Bryde's whale (Balaenoptera brydei) found in the Gulf of Thailand on display. Inside, the exhibition area is divided into several zones, including an economic fish zone, an ornamental fish and sealife zone, and a jellyfish zone. The jellyfish are showcased in tanks with bioluminescent displays that change colors according to the lighting. Microscopes are available for visitors to observe jellyfish stinging cells, and video presentations explain the feeding behavior of jellyfish ephyrae, with staff on hand to provide guidance. A key highlight is the large tank exhibiting various large coral reef fish species, such as the giant trevally (Caranx ignobilis), barramundi (Lates calcarifer), mangrove jack (Lutjanus argentimaculatus), giant grouper (Epinephelus lanceolatus), zebra shark (Stegostoma tigrinum), and round ribbontail ray (Taeniurops meyeni). At 2:00 PM, there is a feeding session where food is dropped from above, and stepped seating is provided for visitors to watch. Another highlight is a newly opened zone in a separate building that opened on December 5, 2022. This zone displays shallow water fish, mangrove fish, and brownbanded bamboo shark (Chiloscyllium punctatum) mermaid's purses, which have been successfully bred in captivity. The exhibition is designed like an art gallery, with visitors walking down to the lower level where a large cylindrical tank, standing 8 m (26.2 ft) tall, and an acrylic tunnel that gently spirals downward, giving visitors the feeling of walking under the sea. This immersive underwater walkway stretches 37 m (121.4 ft) and ends with a long flat escalator that gently takes visitors back to the surface. Fish displayed here are similar to those in the large tank, with additional species such as the tawny nurse shark (Nebrius ferrugineus) and shovelnose ray (Rhinobatidae). The feeding session by divers also takes place at 2:00 PM in this zone. The institute was the first in the world to successfully breed clownfish in captivity, and it offers knowledge and consultation to farmers interested in commercial breeding as well as to individuals wishing to keep marine animals as pets. The Bangsaen Aquarium is open daily except Mondays, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission fees are 80 baht for adults and 40 baht for children (local visitors), while foreign visitors are charged 220 baht for adults and 120 baht for children. On weekends and public holidays, an additional fish feeding session is held at 10:30 AM.
