Bagby Furniture Company Building is a historic factory building located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a four-story, "U"-shaped, brick factory building composed of three sections constructed between 1902 and 1907. Its exterior features segmental and jack arches above openings, a corbeled watertable, and a corbeled cornice. It housed the Bagby Furniture Company, which operated from 1879 to 1990.Bagby Furniture Company Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The construction of the building began in 2005 and was completed in 2007. The developers of the building were Beatty Harvey Fillat Architects.The construction of this building is a part of the building span that is currently taking place in Harbor East, Baltimore. By 2010, more than 800 condominiums are expected to be built. Vue Harbor East is also a part of the Hilton Hotel chain. The building is the twenty-third tallest building in the city of Baltimore. A feature of the hotel is a seven-screen movie theater built into the hotel building.

The National Katyń Memorial is a monument in Baltimore, Maryland, which memorializes the victims of the 1940 Katyn massacre of Polish nationals carried out by Soviet forces. Baltimore's Polish-American community was instrumental in having the monument built. The monument was unveiled in 2000 and is the tallest statue in Baltimore. The statue itself is 44 feet (13.4 m) high, the whole monument, with base, is 56 feet (17 m).The statue by sculptor Andrzej Pitynski was delivered from Poland and established in the Inner Harbor East at Aliceanna and President streets.

Legg Mason Tower is a 24-story glass high-rise located at 100 International Drive in Baltimore's Harbor East development. Completed in May 2009, the 650,000-square-foot (60,000 m2) waterfront skyscraper was developed by Harbor East Development Group, and reaches a height of 360.5 feet (109.9 m). It was designed by Beatty Harvey Coco Architects with HKS Architects, and is situated at the edge of the city's Inner Harbor. This Class-A office building serves as the new headquarters for asset management firm Legg Mason, which moved from what was the Legg Mason Building at 100 Light Street.It is also known as the home campus of the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. The building is part of a mixed-use development with its neighbor, the Four Seasons Hotel, which was completed and opened in 2011. It is Pre-Certified Silver under the LEED Core and Shell Program, and was one of six developments recognized by the Urban Land Institute Wavemaker Award in 2009.

South Central Avenue Historic District is a national historic district in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It contains brick two- and three-story industrial and residential buildings reflecting over 150 years of utilitarian adaptation of buildings and space. The district includes early 19th century rowhouses, late 19th century and early 20th century manufacturing and warehouse buildings, gas stations, stables, car barns, commercial/residential buildings, and corner stores. Several larger buildings are the Bagby Furniture Company Building (4 stories), the Strauss Malt House (5 stories), and the Alameda School. Many rowhouses have been covered with formstone.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Little Italy is a neighborhood located in southeastern Baltimore, Maryland. The neighborhood is known for its strong Italian-American heritage and identity. The neighborhood is still mostly populated by the descendants of Italian-American immigrants and remains a closely knit ethnic enclave. Due to its close proximity to desirable neighborhoods such as Fell's Point, Upper Fell's Point and Harbor East, real estate values in Little Italy have become high in recent years. Another cause for the neighborhood's competitive real estate market is the lack of properties entering the market due to the longstanding neighborhood tradition of keeping houses within the family. The President Street Station in Baltimore, Maryland, is a former train station and railroad terminal. Built in 1849 and opened in February 1850, the station saw some of the earliest bloodshed of the American Civil War (1861-1865), and was an important rail link during the conflict. Today, it is the oldest surviving big-city railroad terminal in the United States. A preservation campaign and renovation project completed in 1997 enabled the station to be operated as the Baltimore Civil War Museum for several years.

The building's construction began in 2007 and went through several changes. Developers originally planned the project as two towers, with a portion for residences. The hotel occupies just one of the towers, with the second being used as the Legg Mason Tower. A residential portion, comprising eight additional floors of condo units, began construction in 2014. The eight additional floors took almost four years to complete, adding an additional 62 residential units atop the existing hotel portion, separated by a mechanical floor.Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore has a total of 256 rooms, including 45 suites, and 62 residential units. The building contains a hotel, two restaurants, a gourmet coffee shop, private residences and residential amenities, and a major retail store. The building is located in an upscale shopping and dining area of Baltimore, Harbor East. Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore is located at 200 International Drive, overlooking the Inner Harbor. The reception desk and the lobby are on the ground floor. All the food and beverage facilities have views of the harbor through large bay windows. A function and meeting space is on the second and fourth floors. The function space includes the Grand Ballroom, the Cobalt Ballroom, eight meeting rooms and one Boardroom. The total function space, including the pre-function areas, offers over 20,000 square feet of meeting space. The spa and fitness center are on the fourth level.

Douglass Place is a group of historic rowhouses located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Built in 1892, it represents typical "alley houses" of the period in Baltimore, two narrow bays wide, two stories high over a cellar, with shed roofs pitched to the rear. Italianate influence is reflected in their segmental-arched window and door openings, and in the simple molded sheet metal cornices which crown the buildings. Frederick Douglass (1818-1895) constructed the five buildings as rental housing for blacks in the Fells Point area of Baltimore, where he had resided from the 1820s to 1838. The site was the location of the Dallas Street Station Methodist Episcopal Church, which he had attended while living in the area.Douglass Place was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
