Mount Moriah Cemetery (Philadelphia)

Mount Moriah station is a trolley stop on the SEPTA subway–surface 13 trolley in Southwest Philadelphia. Located on the northeast corner of Kingsessing Avenue and Cemetery Avenue, there is a loop there for trolleys that do not go on the full route to Yeadon or Darby to turn around and go back to Center City Philadelphia. The stop is named for the Mount Moriah Cemetery next to the stop. The cemetery is named after Mount Moriah in Jerusalem, Israel and the Biblical Book of Genesis.

The building was designed by Irwin T. Catharine and built in 1937–1938. It is a three-story, six bay, yellow brick in the Moderne-style. The J.G. Brill Company manufactured streetcars, interurban coaches, motor buses, trolleybuses and railroad cars in the United States for almost ninety years, making it the longest-lasting trolley and interurban manufacturer. At its height, Brill was the largest manufacturer of streetcars and interurban cars in the US and produced more streetcars, interurbans and gas-electric cars than any other manufacturer, building more than 45,000 streetcars alone. The company was founded by John George Brill in 1868 in Philadelphia, as a horsecar manufacturing firm. Its factory complex was located in south-west Philadelphia at 62nd St and Woodland Avenue, adjacent to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad tracks. Over the years, it absorbed numerous other manufacturers of trolleys and interurbans, such as Kuhlman in Cleveland and Jewett in Indiana. In 1944, with business diminishing, it merged with the American Car and Foundry Company (ACF) to become ACF-Brill. Although the company ceased production in 1954, some of its interurbans served the Philadelphia area until the 1980s.

It was erected above a raised basement. It features a projecting entrance bay with oversized arched surround, projecting secondary entrance bays, terra cotta quoining, and an arched gable parapet.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The building was designed by Irwin T. Catharine and built in 1922–1924. It is a three-story, 17 bay, brick building on a raised stone basement in the Colonial Revival-style. It is in the shape of a shallow "W". It features a center projecting pavilion, stone cornice, and a brick parapet. The school was named for Anna Howard Shaw. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. Since 2015, the school has been used as a charter school run by Mastery Charter Schools. It was renamed in honor of Hardy Williams.

Angora is a neighborhood in the Southwest section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Although its boundaries are not precise, West Philadelphia is to its north, Kingsessing is to the south, Cedar Park is to the east, and Cobbs Creek is to the west. The Angora Commuter Rail Station on the Media/Wawa Line, two bus lines (routes 46 and "G"), and a trolley line (SEPTA Route 34) all intersect around Baltimore Avenue and 58th Street, which is unofficially the nexus of the neighborhood. On May 12, 2005, a commercial block in Angora was certified as blighted by the City Planning Commission, and a redevelopment plan was proposed later that year. However, Angora Terrace and other portions of the neighborhood are well-kept.

Angora station is a SEPTA railway station in Philadelphia. It serves the Media/Wawa Line and is officially located at 58th Street near Baltimore Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia's Angora neighborhood, however the actual location is south of Baltimore Avenue. Part of Cobbs Creek Parkway runs along 58th Street from Baltimore Avenue, over the railroad bridge, to nearby Hoffman Avenue. In 2013, this station saw 36 boardings and 37 alightings on an average weekday, making it SEPTA's least used regional rail station.Angora station lies several blocks southeast of the Angora Loop station, which is the western terminus of Route 34 on the SEPTA Subway-Surface Trolley Lines, a line that runs along Baltimore Avenue, three blocks north of the station.
