Latitude 53 Contemporary Visual Culture, more commonly known as Latitude 53, is an artist-run centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Founded in 1973 by a collective of Edmonton artists. As far back as 1991, Latitude 53 has been heralded as "consistently been the most interesting, risk-taking public gallery in town for years." In 2013, they relocated from their main floor space in the Great West Saddlery Building to their current home at 10242 - 106 Street in Edmonton. Latitude 53 is a member of Alberta Association of Artist-run centres. Artexte Information Centre in Montreal, Quebec holds 69 of their exhibition catalogues in their collection. In October 2019, Michelle Schultz was named executive director.

The McLeod Building is a historic office building located in Downtown Edmonton. It was designated a Provincial Historic Resource on January 3, 1995 and a Municipal Historic Resource on May 22, 2001.

New Cambridge Lofts is an eighteen-storey historic building located in Downtown Edmonton. Converted from an office building into condos, New Cambridge Lofts now contains over 200 residential and commercial condo units.

The Edmonton Pedway system is a network connecting office buildings, shopping centres, and parkades in downtown Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It consists of approximately 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) of year-round climate-controlled tunnels, and walkways between the second floors of buildings, approximately 15 feet (4.6 m) above ground. The main network connects more than 40 buildings and parkades, and three of the five Edmonton Light Rail Transit (LRT) stations in the downtown area.The Pedway system is integrated with public transit via climate controlled access to LRT stations. Notable examples include connections to the Alberta Legislature Buildings that leads to Government Centre station, and networks connecting buildings at the University of Alberta, MacEwan University, and Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. MacEwan University and Northern Alberta Institute of Technology are entirely traversable indoors through extensive pedways and building interconnectivity.

Central station is an Edmonton Light Rail Transit station in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It serves both the Capital Line and the Metro Line. It is an underground station located beneath Jasper Avenue between 100 Street and 101 Street.

The Edmonton Public Library (EPL) is a publicly funded library system in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, available for use by any member of the public. Library cards are free to all Edmontonians; as part of its centennial in 2013, the Edmonton Public Library eliminated membership fees. University of Alberta and MacEwan University students receive free access through the L-Pass program.In 2014, more than 14.1 million visits were made to the Edmonton Public Library, either in physical or virtual form. 10.4 million items were borrowed, and 347,995 people participated in 13,532 library-run programs.

The Stanley A. Milner Library is the flagship branch of the Edmonton Public Library. It is located on the southern side of Sir Winston Churchill Square in the downtown core of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The main library is near walking distance to the City Hall, the Edmonton City Centre mall, the Francis Winspear Centre for Music, and the Citadel Theatre. In January 2017, the library closed its doors for a major renovation, as all but the basic structure was removed to be rebuilt with an architectural design similar to that of the Art Gallery of Alberta located a few blocks away. Its services were relocated to a temporary space on Jasper Avenue in Enterprise Square. The new Stanley A. Milner Library, along with the new Shelley Milner Children's Library opened on September 17, 2020. The building is directly connected to the underground pedway network and to Edmonton's LRT. A number of ETS bus routes also serve the library along Harbin Road (102 Avenue) and 100 Street. Underground parking, run by the city, is also available.The Stanley A. Milner Library is also a centre for assistive services. Specialized magnifiers, projection reading rooms, large print books, braille material, voice dictation stations, and specialized computers are available as part of the library's mission to provide information access to all.

ATB Place, formerly Telus Plaza, is an office complex in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Originally built as the headquarters of Alberta Government Telephones (AGT), the two office towers in the complex–ATB Place Tower and TELUS house–are now separately owned and serve as the headquarters of ATB Financial and the Alberta provincial headquarters for Telus, respectively. The south tower, TELUS House (formerly TELUS Plaza South, and originally the AGT Tower (Alberta Government Telephones Tower)), was completed in 1971, at a cost of Can$22 million. It was Edmonton's tallest building until Manulife Place was completed in 1981. It is 134.4 metres (34 storeys) tall. For many years the 33rd floor was home to Vista 33, a telephone and telecommunications museum. There was also an observation deck which afforded panoramic views of Edmonton from what was then the city's tallest building. Vista 33 was closed in 1993.ATB Tower is 90 metres tall (26 storeys, 296 feet) and was completed in 1969. It contains retail space at the ground level and via Edmonton Pedway system to the Edmonton LRT in the concourse of ATB Place. The concourse courtyard was added after TELUS moved in and renovated it. It opened as McCauley Plaza, named after the first mayor of Edmonton, in which a bronze bust was displayed. The location was later renamed TELUS Plaza. After the name change to ATB Place, the bust was removed from public viewing. A third building, the two storey ATB Place annex, is located at the southeast corner of the complex. Originally the home of the (now defunct) Edmonton Club, later the main office of an engineering firm, it is currently occupied by a career college. Prior to the construction of the AGT buildings, this site was the home of the main branch of the Edmonton Public Library, which stood there from 1923 to 1969.

CBX-FM is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 90.9 FM in Edmonton, Alberta. It broadcasts the programming of the CBC Music network. CBX-FM was launched on June 27, 1979. In 2004, CBC Edmonton operations moved into a new digital broadcast facility downtown, bringing all operations of Radio and TV, under one roof. The old TV facility on 75th Street had 70,000 square feet (6,500 m2), while the Radio building on 51st Ave. had 48,000 square feet (4,500 m2). The new combined facility has 38,700 total square feet. It is located at the Edmonton City Centre, on Winston Churchill Square. Its transmitter is located in Sherwood Park. As of February 28, 2021, CBX-FM is the 16th-most-listened-to radio station in the Edmonton market according to a PPM data report released by Numeris.

The Edmonton International Film Festival (EIFF) is a nine-day film festival in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, hosted at Landmark Cinemas at Edmonton City Centre. It is supported by and partnered with Telefilm Canada, Government of Alberta, Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Edmonton City Council, and the Edmonton Arts Council.The festival schedule consists of over 150 films of various genres, ranging from short to feature-length, domestic to foreign, studio to independent, and from dramatic work to documentary. The EIFF showcases films that are produced within 20 months of each festival, selected on the basis of story, quality, and originality. The Festival also presents, other films that have garnered a 'buzz' around the festival circuit, along with filmmaker talks, Q&As, gala screenings, spotlights on local filmmakers, and shorts with lunch, among others.EIFF is an Oscar-qualifying festival for short films (live action and animation): winning at this festival can make a film eligible to win an Academy Award. The two short films that win the EIFF Grand Jury Award are chosen by an international jury and of five industry peers, after which they are eligible for Oscar consideration in the accompanying year. Lunchbox Shorts is a series of select EIFF short-film programs (curated from thousands of submissions) that are presented throughout the lunch hour over the festival, with lunch included in its ticket price.: 37 From 2015 through 2017, and in 2019, MovieMaker has listed EIFF as one of "50 film festivals worth the entry fee." The 35th Annual EIFF is scheduled for the week of October 1–10, 2021.

Scotia Place is an office tower complex in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada that was completed in 1983. It is located at 10060 Jasper Avenue in the heart of Downtown Edmonton. It is home to several long term tenants such as Grant Thornton, APEGGA, Ernst & Young, Duncan Craig LLP and Edmonton Transit. The namesake of the complex is Scotiabank. The tallest tower in the complex is Scotia 1, with 28 floors reaching 113 m (371 ft). Followed by Scotia 2, with 21 floors reaching 88 m (289 ft).
