Vanderbilt Avenue was a station on the demolished BMT Fulton Street Line. The Fulton Street Elevated was built by the Kings County Elevated Railway Company and this station started service on April 24, 1888. The station had 2 tracks and 2 side platforms. It was served by trains of the BMT Fulton Street Line, and until 1920, trains of the BMT Brighton Line. This station was served by steam locomotives between 1888 and 1899. In 1898, the Brooklyn Rapid Transit Company (BRT) absorbed the Kings County Elevated Railway, and it took over the Fulton Street El, and it was electrified on July 3, 1899. It also had a connection to the streetcar line of the same name. In 1936, the Independent Subway System built the Fulton Street subway and added a station one block to the southeast named Clinton–Washington Avenues. The el station became obsolete, and it closed on June 1, 1940, when all service from Fulton Ferry and Park Row to Rockaway Avenue was abandoned, as it came under city ownership.

The Ward Baking Company Building was an industrial facility in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, New York. It was constructed in 1911 by George S. Ward as a baking plant. According to the Ward Baking Company, the Ward Building housed the first "sanitary and scientific bakery in America.” The building housed hundreds of workers who produced 250,000 loaves of bread per day. The Ward Building later became a storage facility. It was demolished in 2007 to make way for Pacific Park.

The South Oxford Tennis Club was an athletic club and event space in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York which was in operation from 1981 to 1997. It was noted as the only Black-owned tennis club in New York City and for its role as a community hub, particularly for the Black and gay communities of its district. In the assessment of Patrick Sauer, "What started out as a Brooklyn hot spot for matches on green Har-Tru clay would become, during its 16-year existence, a focal point for the surrounding, predominantly Black neighborhoods. It was a place where kids could take free lessons, members competed in tournaments, future hip-hop legends spit rhymes, folks marked important occasions, politicians held fund-raisers, and the area's gay community found an unlikely locus."

The Church of St. Luke and St. Matthew is a historic Episcopal church at 520 Clinton Avenue between Fulton Street and Atlantic Avenue in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. This congregation was founded as St. Luke's Protestant Episcopal Church in 1842 following the failure of Trinity Church, which had been consecrated in the same building on June 1, 1835, by Bishop Onderdonk of the Diocese of Long Island. The founding of a church in this location resulted from the expansion of Brooklyn beyond initial European settlement in Brooklyn Heights. The building was constructed on a property consisting of eight city lots donated by George W. Pine.The congregation's building eventually grew to be the largest in the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. It merged with the St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in 1943, and the Church of St. Michael and St. Mark in 1993.

Adelphi Hospital was a 146-bed voluntary hospital that opened in 1929 at 50 Green Avenue and closed in 1974. It "served the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn." The hospital was in "a seven-story, fireproof building" and was located at "the corner of Greene Ave and Adelphi St."

St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Brooklyn at 423 Clinton Street at Carroll Street in the Carroll Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City was built from 1867 to 1884 and was designed by Richard Upjohn & Son in the High Victorian Gothic style. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.The parish is part of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America in the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, in the Anglo-Catholic tradition.

New York City Players is a not-for-profit New York City-based experimental theatre company founded in 1999 by playwright and director Richard Maxwell to present his work. The company has produced approximately 30 new plays in New York and has toured in over 20 countries. Among their notable productions are Ode to the Man Who Kneels and People Without History, the latter at the Performing Garage in SoHo, Manhattan. The company's works have also been presented at Performance Space New York, The Kitchen, and Soho Rep in New York, and in Paris, Brussels, Dublin, London, and Germany.Aside from the works of Maxwell, the company has also created a limited number of works through partnerships with other artists and companies, including Devotion with choreographer Sarah Michelson, The Early Plays with The Wooster Group, and Open Rehearsal at the 2012 Whitney Biennial.The company runs two programs, the American Playwright Division, which produces plays written and directed by emerging playwrights, and the Incoming Theatre Division, a program which provides resources and production support to immigrant New Yorkers to develop their stories into theatrical works.

Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School is a private, Roman Catholic, co-educational, college-preparatory high school located at 357 Clermont Avenue in the Ft. Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. The school serves students in grades 9 through 12. Loughlin was founded in 1851 and was the first high school in the Diocese of Brooklyn (1853), but today is run independently by the Christian Brothers in the Lasallian educational tradition. Today, the school graduates 100% of its senior students with at least 98% of graduates matriculating to college each year. In 2018, Loughlin enrolled nearly 650 students, making it the fifth-largest Catholic high school in Brooklyn and Queens. The school had 38 full-time teachers, two part-time teachers and four full-time counselors. The 2017–2018 tuition was $10,050, and nearly 60% of all students were awarded financial aid or scholarships, with an average aid amount of $3,200.

The Clinton–Washington Avenues station is a local station on the IND Fulton Street Line of the New York City Subway. Located on Fulton Street between Clinton Avenue and Washington Avenue, it is served by the C train at all times except nights, when the A train takes over service.

Hanson Place Seventh-day Adventist Church, is an historic church at 88 Hanson Place between South Oxford Street and South Portland Avenue in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City, which was built in 1857-60 as the Hanson Place Baptist Church. It was designed by George Penchard in the Early Romanesque Revival style. The building, which is constructed of brick on a brick foundation covered in stucco, features an entrance portico topped by a steeply pitched pediment supported by four Corinthian columns, while the side facade on South Portland features pilasters. The building's interior and exterior were restored in the 1970s. It has been a Seventh-day Adventist church since 1963.The church was designated a New York City landmark in 1970, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.The noted 1864 Baptist hymn, "Hanson Place," by Robert Lowry, was named after this church.
