North Castle is a town in Westchester County, New York, United States. The population was 12,408 at the 2020 census. It has three hamlets: Armonk, Banksville, and North White Plains.

Westchester County Airport (IATA: HPN, ICAO: KHPN, FAA LID: HPN) is a county-owned airport in Westchester County, New York, three miles (6 km) northeast of downtown White Plains, with territory in the towns of North Castle and Harrison, New York, and village of Rye Brook, New York. It is sometimes referred to as the White Plains Airport and is so identified by the Official Airline Guide (OAG).The airport primarily serves Westchester County, New York, and Fairfield County, Connecticut; the New York–Connecticut state border runs along its eastern perimeter. Being approximately 33 miles (53 km) north of Midtown Manhattan, it is also considered a satellite or reliever airport for the New York metropolitan area. HPN is currently serviced by 5 airlines, including regional code-sharing affiliates with scheduled flights for their major airline partners, to 19 destinations throughout the United States with 1 more coming soon. 3 scheduled charter airlines also offer flights and the New York Knicks and Rangers use the airport for charter flights during the season. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized HPN as a primary commercial service airport. Per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 904,482 passenger enplanements in calendar year 2008, 964,927 in 2009, and 999,831 in 2010.

The Bedford Road Historic District is located along that street in the unincorporated hamlet of Armonk, New York, United States. Its 4.5 acres (1.8 ha) contain nine contributing properties, all wood frame buildings from the mid-19th century in variations and combinations of the Federal and Greek Revival architectural styles. In 1985 the group was recognized as a historic district and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Armonk's history began with the buildings, erected in the mid-19th century when the congregants of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, the oldest building in the district, subdivided and sold the large parcel the church was on to their rector in order to give the church a solid financial footing. In selling the land for house construction, the congregation was the first to use the name Armonk for the area, and the properties have likewise been described as the hamlet's first residential subdivision.Architecturally, the houses and church are a rare surviving group in classically inspired styles in that part of Westchester County. Some are used as professional offices today. The church's cemetery, in which many of the inhabitants of the houses and other early residents of North Castle are buried, is also part of the district. Since its construction, the district has undergone some changes. Another, smaller house was built within it in the 1880s. The church has gone through several parsonages, one of which has been demolished, along with an additional building used as a girls' school. Highway construction and relocations following IBM's 1964 choice of Armonk for its corporate headquarters changed Bedford Road from a major through route to a dead-end street. In the early 21st century the redevelopment of the land north of the district into Armonk Square, a mixed-use shopping center and apartment complex required the construction of a street in the middle of the district to meet parking requirements, a move which was highly controversial within the community.

The former Smith Tavern is located on Bedford Road (state highway NY 22) in the hamlet of Armonk, New York, United States. It is a red frame building dating to the late 18th century, one of the few left in a region that has rapidly suburbanized over the past century. The Smith family, for whom it is named, did not build it but owned it for most of the 19th century. It has seen many uses over its existence, most of them important to the development of the Town of North Castle. During the Revolutionary War it served as headquarters for the local militia. It was a frequent overnight stop for stagecoaches between New York City and Danbury, Connecticut. Later it was the post office and offices of the town clerk. Yale University owned it briefly, and it was also a parsonage for a nearby church. Two owners renovated it extensively, one reverting an addition made by the other. In 1977 it became the town's historical museum, and six years later it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Round Hill Historic District encompasses the village center of Round Hill, a formerly rural (and now suburban) area in northwestern Greenwich, Connecticut. Centered on the junction of John Street and Round Hill Road, the district includes a church, cemetery, two houses, and a former district school, the latter dating to 1750. Established as a center for local farmers in the 18th century, it was transformed in the early 20th century into a center for suburban and summer estate residents. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

The Louis Calder Center is Fordham University's biological field station. The Calder Center is a protected forest preserve located 30 miles (48 km) north of New York City in Armonk, New York, and is the only full-time ecological research field station in the New York metropolitan area.

St. Nersess Armenian Seminary is a seminary under the auspices of the Armenian Church of America, which is the American branch of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Since 2015, it has been located in Armonk, New York. It is the only Armenian theological seminary in the Western hemisphere. It was an idea of Archbishop Tiran Nersoyan, who served as the first dean. He felt that the then 19 priests in the Armenian Church in America could hardly support the more than 30 parishes and first proposed a seminary in America in 1947. The seminary is named after St. Nerses IV the Gracious, Catholicos of All Armenians from 1166 to 1173.It was founded in 1961 in Evanston, Illinois and was the first Armenian seminary in the United States where it was originally affiliated with Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in suburban Chicago. in 1967, the seminary moved to New York, to bring the seminary closer to the geographical center of the diocese and to forge stronger ties with other churches of the East. Starting during this period the seminary became affiliated with St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary with whom it has maintained a close relationship, including a joint visit to his Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians. In 1978, the seminary purchased their own building in New Rochelle. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the seminary, a symposium on Armenian and Christian near East worship traditions was held, later collected in book form.In 2012, a new campus was planned and built for the seminary in Armonk, New York which would open in 2015 and was formally dedicated the following year.[1] The seminary offers two graduate degrees, a Master of Divinity in conjunction with St. Vladimir's and a Master of Arts in Armenian Christian Studies. It also regularly offers exchange programs with the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem’s Sts. Tarkmanchatz School.The seminary has published the St. Nersess Theological Review an Armenological publication since 1996. The journal is the only English language academic journal dedicated to the study of Armenian Christianity.

Dunnellen Hall is a private mansion located at 521 Round Hill Road in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA. It was sold by the estate of Leona Helmsley for $35 million down from the original asking price of $125 million when it was first put up on the market in 2008.Dunnellen Hall was built for New York City financier Daniel G. Reid as a gift for his daughter in 1918. Dunnellen Hall was built for approximately $1 million. The approximately 23,000-square-foot (2,100 m2) mansion originally sat on over 200 acres (0.81 km2), but is currently situated on just over 40. It was purchased in 1983 by Leona Helmsley and her husband Harry for US$11 million. Leona Helmsley would live in Dunnellen Hall until her death in 2007. According to the Greenwich Historical Society, Dunnellen Hall is one of the last intact historic estates left in Greenwich.

Byram Hills High School (BHHS) is a four-year co-educational public secondary school located in Armonk, New York, United States. It is the only secondary school in the Byram Hills Central School District, and serves students from the towns of North Castle, Bedford, Mount Pleasant, and New Castle. The school has over 700 students in grades 9–12.

The Sylvanus Selleck Gristmill, also known as the Edwin Knapp Gristmill, is a historic gristmill at 124 Old Mill Road in Greenwich, Connecticut. Built about 1796, it is one of the oldest mill buildings in the state, and a rare surviving example of brace-frame construction. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

St. Paul is a Roman Catholic church in the Glenville section of Greenwich, Connecticut, part of the Diocese of Bridgeport. This is one of the only parishes in Connecticut that also serve parishioners who live in New York.
