St. Helena is a neighborhood in the cities of Baltimore and Dundalk in the U.S. state of Maryland. The border between the cities, which is also the border between Baltimore County and Baltimore City, divides the neighborhood. The neighborhood was named by Colonel Arthur Bryan after the island of Saint Helena. It has a mix of rowhouses and detached homes. It is divided by railroad tracks from the Point Breeze Industrial Park.

Fort Holabird was a United States Army post in the city of Baltimore, Maryland, active from 1918 to 1973.

Dundalk Marine Terminal is a neighborhood in southeast Baltimore, Maryland.

Riverview Park was an early amusement park in Baltimore, Maryland, located off Broening Parkway in the area known as Point Breeze. The park began operating in 1890 and featured a roller coaster, water attractions, and live shows and concerts.Future ragtime legends Eubie Blake and Noble Sissle met, and began their songwriting partnership, while working at Riverview Park.The park closed in 1929, and the property was sold at auction to Western Electric, who constructed a plant on the site. The area was later redeveloped for other industrial use; no known artifacts are believed to survive.

Dundalk Historic District is a national historic district in Baltimore, and Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. The district is a cohesive unit made up of residential, commercial, and institutional buildings with structures that generally date from 1910 to 1940. Major architectural styles represented include Period Revival (particularly Colonial Revival and Tudor Revival) and Art Deco/Streamline Moderne. The District includes 962 resources contribute to its significance. It includes the only two housing developments built by the United States Shipping Board Merchant Fleet Corporation (EFC) in Maryland during World War I and reflects experimentation with Garden City planning ideals. Many of the buildings within the District represent the work of noted Baltimore architect Edward L. Palmer, Jr.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

O'Donnell Heights is a neighborhood named for a public housing development in the far southeastern part of the city of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is located south and east of Interstate 95, just west of the border with Baltimore County, and north of the St. Helena neighborhood. The community was built to house factory workers during World War II. Today operated by the Housing Authority of Baltimore City, the original 900 unit development was modernized in 1983. The neighborhood, which also contains privately owned and rented rowhouses, is separated from Highlandtown by highways, cemeteries, and industrial areas. It is in close proximity to the Point Breeze Industrial Park and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Graceland Park O'Donnell Heights Elementary School #240 is located at Gusryan and O'Donnell Streets. As of May 2007, many of the World War II era public housing buildings in O'Donnell Heights have started a demolition phase as a means of making room for a brand new mixed-income housing area. O'Donnell Heights is predominantly African American, with growing White and Hispanic populations as well, according to the 2010 Census. Notable former resident Dominique Wilkins went on to gain fame in the N.B.A., and returned to his neighborhood to build a basketball court for the community in the early 1980s.

Baltimore Municipal Airport ("Harbor Field") is a former airport and United States Air Force airfield about 6 miles southeast of Baltimore, Maryland on an artificial peninsula. Construction began in 1929 with a seaplane base and was completed in 1941. It closed on 30 December 1960. The western half of the airport was within the city of Baltimore, whereas the eastern half was in Dundalk, in Baltimore County. Today the former airfield is the site of the Dundalk Marine Terminal, a multi-use shipping facility of the Port of Baltimore.

The Dundalk, Liberty, and Cornwall Gardens are a trio of historic apartment complexes on Dunmanway in Dundalk, Maryland, United States. They consist of a total of 30 two-story brick Colonial Revival style buildings, which were built between 1937 and 1942, and contain garden-style apartments. Construction of the buildings was funded in part by grants from the Federal Housing Authority, whose principles guided the layout of the buildings to maximize natural light, and allow for the creation of car-free landscaped courtyards. As a result, the complexes also include separate garage buildings where residents could leave their cars. Each complex has features that distinguish it from the others.The buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

Graceland Park is a neighborhood in southeastern Baltimore, Maryland, located adjacent O'Donnell Heights neighborhood. The neighborhood's western extreme is Gusryan Street, and it abuts the Baltimore City-Baltimore County line on the east. The Baltimore County portion, Harbor View, is adjacent the community of Dundalk.

NS Savannah was the first nuclear-powered merchant ship. She was built in the late 1950s at a cost of $46.9 million (including a $28.3 million nuclear reactor and fuel core) and launched on July 21, 1959. She was funded by United States government agencies. Savannah was a demonstration project for the potential use of nuclear energy. The ship was named after SS Savannah, the first steamship to cross the Atlantic ocean. She was in service between 1962 and 1972 as one of only four nuclear-powered cargo ships ever built. (The Soviet ice-breaker Lenin, launched on December 5, 1957, was the first nuclear-powered civilian ship.) Savannah was deactivated in 1971 and after several moves was moored at Pier 13 of the Canton Marine Terminal in Baltimore, Maryland in 2008.

SS John W. Brown is a Liberty ship, one of two still operational and one of three preserved as museum ships. As a Liberty ship, she operated as a merchant ship of the United States Merchant Marine during World War II and later was a vocational high school training ship in New York City for many years. Now preserved, she is a museum ship and cruise ship berthed at Pier 13 in Baltimore Harbor in Maryland. John W. Brown was named after the Canadian-born American labor union leader John W. Brown (1867–1941).The other surviving operational Liberty ship is SS Jeremiah O'Brien in San Francisco, California. A third Liberty ship, SS Hellas Liberty (ex-SS Arthur M. Huddell) is preserved as a static museum ship in Piraeus, Greece.

Logan Field, also known as Dundalk Flying Field, is a former airport located in the town of Dundalk, Maryland, northeast of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, near Baltimore.
