Det Ny Teater (English: The New Theatre) is an established theatre in Copenhagen, Denmark, first opened in 1908. It is based in a building which spans a passage between Vesterbrogade and Gammel Kongevej in Copenhagen's theatre district on the border between Vesterbro and Frederiksberg. With more than 12,000 m2 it is one of Denmark's largest theaters. It has two stages, the main auditorium which seats more than 1,000 and Sceneriet, a smaller theatre established in the cellar in 1994.

Gammel Kongevej 25, situated opposite St. Jørgen's Lake, on the border between Vesterbro and Frederiksberg in Copenhagen, Denmark, consists of a five-storey Late Neoclassical residential building fronting the street and the former Emil Messershcmidt's Tannery on its rear'. The three-winged tannery complex is one of relatively few surviving examples of the many minor industrial enterprises that once dominated the courtyards of Copenhagen's Vesterbro and Nørrebro districts. The current buildings were constructed by Emil Messerschmidt after a fire in 1867 and later continued by his two eldest sons until another fire in 1907.

Vodroffsvej 10 is one of several surviving 19th-century villas situated on the west side of St. Jørgen's Lake in the Frederiksberg district of central Copenhagen, Denmark. Built in 1865, it was one of three villas constructed in the area by master mason and architect Jørgen Wilhelm Frohne (1832-1909) for family members of the owner of nearby Vodroggsgård. An atelier in the garden was constructed in 1882 for the painter Laurits Tuxen, brother-in-law of the next owner and also a resident of the building. Other artists to have used the atelier include Julius Schultz, Hans Gyde Petersen and Daniel Hvidt. The house and atelier were both listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1980. The neighboring villa at No. 8 was also constructed by Frohne and is also heritage listed. Bonnie Mürsch — a lawyer whose father purchased the house in 1940 and is herself still living in one of its three apartments — published a book about it in conjunction with its 150th anniversary in 2015.

Savoy Hotel Copenhagen is a 66-room, privately run hotel located at Vesterbrogade 34 in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The hotel is based in the rear wing of the Løvenborg Building, Denmark's first example of Art Nouveau.The building was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1885. Vesterbros Torv is a public square located at the corner of Vesterbrogade and Gasværksvej in the heart of the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is dominated by Elijah's Church.

The Diocese of Copenhagen is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Catholic Church named after its episcopal see, the Danish national capital, Copenhagen and covers all Denmark. As in neighbouring provinces, none of the pre-Reformation bishoprics were re-established after Lutheranism became the new official state church in the 16th century). The diocese also covers two Danish overseas possessions, the Faroe Islands and Greenland. It is estimated that 36,000 (0.7%) out of the 5,516,597 inhabitants of the diocesan territory are Catholics. The current bishop, appointed in 1995, is Czeslaw Kozon. His predecessor, bishop Hans Ludvig Martensen, S.J., served in the position from 1965 to 1995, when he resigned the post. The former Dioceses of Ribe and Odense were the former provincial dioceses, that have since been subsumed into the diocese of Copenhagen. The Diocese of Copenhagen is exempt immediately to the Holy See. It was established on August 7, 1868 as the Vicariate Apostolic of the Northern Missions. In 1869, it was demoted as the Apostolic Prefecture of Denmark. On March 15, 1892, it was again promoted as the Vicariate Apostolic of Denmark. Only on April 29, 1953 it was promoted as the regular, post-missionary diocese of Copenhagen.

Elijah's Church (Danish: Elias Kirke) is a Church of Denmark parish church located on Vesterbros Torv in the heart of the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Completed in 1908 and designed by Martin Nyrop, who has designed Copenhagen City Hall, it was the largest church to be built by the Copenhagen Church Foundation.

The Wegener House (Danish: Wegeners Gård) is a mid 19th-century building complex on Vesterbrogade in the Besterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. In the first half of the 19th century the property was the site of first James Price's summer theatre and then of Vesterbro Morskabsteater.The latter was replaced by the present building on the site in the late 1840s. The property was acquired by royal historian and archivist C.F. Wegener in 1856. In 1867, Wegener expanded the building with a new four-storey rear wing as well as a library building for his extensive private book collection. The rear wing and the library building are connected to each other by a first floor skywalk, The three buildings were listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1981.

The Church of Jesus' Heart (Jesu Hjerte Kirke) is a Roman Catholic church in the Vesterbro/Kongens Enghave area of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built in 1895 and is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. In 2024, the vicar is Tomislav Cvetko.

The Museum of Copenhagen (Danish: Københavns Bymuseum) is the official museum of Copenhagen, Denmark, documenting the city's history from the 12th century to the present.

Planetarium (formerly Tycho Brahe Planetarium) is located at the southern end of the lake Skt. Jørgens Sø in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was designed by MAA Knud Munk (1936-2016) and opened on November 1, 1989.

Skydebanehaven (English 'The Shooting Range Gardens') is a small public park in the heart of the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Its name refers to the former shooting range of the Royal Copenhagen Shooting Society which used to be located on the site. The most distinctive feature of the park is the Neo-Gothic Shooting Range Wall which was constructed in 1887 to shield traffic on Istedgade from stray bullets. The other end of the park is bounded by the rear of the former headquarters of the Shooting Society, a Neoclassical mansion which has more recently housed the Museum of Copenhagen. Access to the park is either through a small gate in the Shooting Range Wall, through an unassuming gate next to Absalonsgade 14 (off Vesterbrogade), or a third gate at the northeastern and of Matthæusgade. The section of the park located closest to Istedgade is occupied by a public playground. The Vesterbrogade end of the park is dominated by lawns and flower beds.
