Frederiksberg Kommune is a municipality (Danish, kommune) on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. Part of the Capital Region of Denmark and the city of Copenhagen, it is surrounded by Copenhagen Municipality. The municipality, co-extensive with its seat, covers a total area (land and water) of 8.71 km2 (3.36 square miles; 871 hectares) according to the Municipal Key Figures and has a population of 103,608 (1. January 2022) making it the smallest municipality in Denmark area-wise, the seventh most populous, and the most densely populated. Its mayor is Michael Vindfeldt from the Social Democrats serving from 1 January 2022. The city of Frederiksberg is the only town in the municipality, and is therefore the site of its municipal council. Frederiksberg is located as an enclave within the municipality of Copenhagen, the national capital. The municipality was originally situated west of Copenhagen, but after a number of smaller municipalities were merged with Copenhagen in 1901, it became surrounded by Copenhagen. Frederiksberg was one of the three last Danish municipalities not belonging to a County—the others being Copenhagen and Bornholm. On 1 January 2007, the municipality lost its county privileges and became part of Region Hovedstaden (i.e. the Copenhagen Capital Region). Frederiksberg municipality was not merged with other municipalities as the result of nationwide Kommunalreformen ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007).

Allégade (lit. "Avenue Street") is the oldest street in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Frederiksberg Runddel to Frederiksberg Town Hall Square, along the east side of Frederiksberg Gardens, connecting Pile Allé to Falkoner Allé. The streetscape is, in spite of the central location, characterized by houses that are pulled back from the street with front gardens behind white fences. Several buildings are old country houses from the time when Frederiksberg was a summer destination outside Copenhagen. Along the northernmost part of the street, on its west side, is a narrow garden complex, Digterlunden (literally "Poet's Grove") with a statue of Holger Drachmann.

Møllmanns Landsted, literally Møllmann's Country House, is a mid 18th-century Rococo-style country house now hidden from the street by a row of younger buildings at Allégade 6 in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was from 1821 to 1887 home to Det Wærnske Institut, a home and educational facility for middle-class girls in difficult circumstances. The old country house and the building fronting the street are both listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places.

Frederiksberg Town Hall (Danish: Frederiksberg Rådhus) is the administrative centre of Frederiksberg Municipality, an independent municipality located in inner Copenhagen, Denmark. 800 employees work in the building. There are tours of the town hall on the first Saturday every month. They include a visit to the tower which rises 60 metres above street level and has good views of Frederiksberg and across Copenhagen.

Lorry is a former entertainment venue in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Its history as an entertainment venue goes back to 1834 when the country house Enighedslyst was converted into a tea garden. The name refers to a later owner, Frederik Laurentius Feilberg, who was popularly known as Lorry. The listed building complex now houses TV2/Lorry, TV2's local news station for the Copenhagen area; a small theatre, Riddersalen; and a café.

Falkoner Centre (Danish: Falkoner Centret) is a hotel and conference complex located in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It mainly consists of Scandic Falconer Hotel & Conference Centre. It has two venues which play host to both conferences such as concerts and shows.

The Danish Revue Museum (Danish: Det Danske Revymuseum) is based in a former country house on Allégade in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is dedicated to the Danish Revue tradition as well as more generally to the history of humorous entertainment in Denmark.

Frederiksberg Runddel (lit. English:Frederiksberg Circus) is a space in front of the main entrance to Frederiksberg Gardens, at the end of Frederiksberg Allé, in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Frederiksberg Church (Danish: Frederiksberg Kirke) is the oldest church building in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Completed in 1734, it is built to an unusual octagonal design in Baroque style. It is situated at Frederiksberg Runddel in front of the main entrance to Frederiksberg Gardens, on the corner of Frederiksberg Allé and Pile Allé,

The Storm P. Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark, is a biographical museum dedicated to the life and oeuvre of Danish humorist Robert Storm Petersen, popularly known as Storm P. In addition to his cartoons, the museum also displays his paintings, both oils and watercolours, and covers other aspects of his life, time and many-sided talent, as well as his extensive collection of smoking pipes and his studio which has been reconstructed on the first floor. The ground floor is used for special exhibitions. In connection with a renovation in 2012, the museum has broadened its profile to include humor, satire and cartoons more generally. The museum is based in a former police station, part of the listed complex of buildings surrounding Frederiksberg Runddel opposite the main entrance to Frederiksberg Gardens in Frederiksberg.

Tavs Harmens Neiiendam (12 December 1898, in Copenhagen – 3 May 1968) was a Danish actor, writer and director. He was the son of actors Nicolai and Jonna Neiiendam. Neiiendam studied at the Royal Danish Theatre's Student School from 1918 to 1920 and was associated with this theatre for a number of years. He wrote several radio plays for the Danish national broadcasting service including "Melody of Murder" which was later filmed. He himself acted in relatively few films but covered more than 600 roles on radio. His play "Inspiration to a Poet" was translated into English by Marianne Helwig. It was broadcast in 1937 on the BBC Home Service with a cast including Gerald Campion.Tavs Neiiendam is buried at Frederiksberg old cemetery.

Frederiksberg Ældre Kirkegård is a cemetery in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. It was established in 1734 behind Frederiksberg Church.
