Taipei Nan Shan Plaza (Chinese: 臺北南山廣場; pinyin: Táiběi Nánshān Guǎngchǎng) is a skyscraper in Xinyi Special District, Xinyi, Taipei, Taiwan. It is the second tallest building in Taipei (after Taipei 101) and the third tallest building in Taiwan (after Taipei 101 and 85 Sky Tower). As of 2019, it is the 146th-tallest building in Asia and 248th-tallest building in the world.

Taipei 101 (Chinese: 臺北101; pinyin: Táiběi yī líng yī; stylized as TAIPEI 101), formerly known as the Taipei World Financial Center, is a skyscraper in Taipei, Taiwan. This building was officially classified as the world's tallest from its opening in 2004 until the 2009 completion of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, UAE. Upon completion, it became the world's first skyscraper to exceed a height of half a kilometer. The elevators that transport passengers from the 5th to the 89th floor in 37 seconds (attaining 60.6 km/h (37.7 mph)) set speed records. In 2011 Taipei 101 received a Platinum rating under the LEED certification system, becoming the tallest and largest green building in the world. The structure regularly appears as an icon of Taipei in international media, and the Taipei 101 fireworks displays are a regular feature of New Year's Eve broadcasts. Taipei 101's postmodernist architectural style evokes traditional Asian aesthetics in a modern structure employing industrial materials. Its design incorporates a number of features that enable the structure to withstand the Pacific Ring of Fire's earthquakes and the region's tropical storms. The tower houses offices, restaurants, and indoor and outdoor observatories. The tower is adjoined by a multilevel shopping mall that has the world's largest ruyi symbol as an exterior feature. Taipei 101 is owned by Taipei Financial Center Corporation. The skyscraper opened on 31 December 2004 to celebrate New Year's Eve.

ATT 4 FUN is a shopping mall in Xinyi Special District, Taipei, Taiwan that opened on August 29, 2011. The name "ATT" stands for "attractive". Using the homonym of "FOR", the letters are changed to the number "4", which represents the four major industries of fashion, cultural creation, entertainment, and food. "FUN" combines fashion shopping with eating, drinking, playing, and fun, bringing all-round joy to a better life.

The Hua Nan Bank Headquarters, also known as Hua Nan Bank World Trade Building (Chinese: 華南銀行總行世貿大樓; pinyin: Huánán yínháng zǒngháng shìmào dàlóu), is a 154.5 m tall skyscraper built from 2011 to 2014 in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. The building houses offices on 27 floors and 2 basement levels served by a total of 10 elevators, with a total floor area of 52,131.74 m2. The building has been LEED Gold certified for its consideration of environmental issues and is designed by the Taiwanese architect Kris Yao.

Four Seasons Hotel Taipei (Chinese: 元利四季酒店) is an under-construction skyscraper hotel located in Xinyi Planning District, Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. The hotel held its groundbreaking ceremony on 2 January 2022 and is estimated to be completed by 2025. Upon completion, it will have a height of 180 m (590 ft), comprising 31 floors above ground and 4 below ground. The hotel is constructed by Yuanlih Group and jointly designed by Yabu Pushelberg and Richard Rogers.

The German Institute Taipei (German: Deutsches Institut Taipei); (Chinese: 德國在台協會; pinyin: Déguó Zài Tái Xiéhuì; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tek-kok chāi Tâi Hia̍p-hōe) is the overseas representative office of Germany in Taiwan, which promotes the non-diplomatic German-Taiwanese relations and looks after German interests there. Tasks of the institution includes the increasing of bilateral cooperation (especially in the field of culture and economy), dealing with consular affairs like Visa or passport, providing a variety of services for German citizens in Taiwan and German-related information to Taiwanese people. In some instances, it maintains contacts with Taiwanese government on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany, acting as a de facto embassy. Institute affairs are led by a Director General (German: Generaldirektor), who acts as the German representative to Taiwan.Its counterpart in Germany is the Taipei Representative Office in the Federal Republic of Germany in Berlin.

Xinyi District or Sinyi District is the seat of the Taipei City Government and Taipei City Council. The district includes Taipei 101, Taipei International Convention Center, Taipei World Trade Center, National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and various shopping malls and entertainment venues, making it the most cosmopolitan district of Taipei. Xinyi District is also considered the financial district of Taipei. The district is a prime shopping area in Taipei, anchored by a number of department stores and malls. In addition, numerous high-end restaurants are located in the area.

FEDS Xinyi A13 (Chinese: 遠百信義A13) is a shopping mall located in the Xinyi Planning District of Taipei, Taiwan that started trial operation on 25 December 2019 and officially opened on 19 January 2020. With a total floor area of 78,217 m2 (841,920 sq ft), it has 14 floors above ground and 3 floors below ground. Main core stores include Vieshow Cinemas, Lego Store Taipei (the first Lego certified store in Taiwan) and Apple Store Xinyi A13 (the second Apple Store in Taiwan). The mall's revenue in 2020 is around NT$3.8 billion. This is the 11th store of the Far Eastern Department Stores company.
