St. Joachim Church, Philadelphia

Church station is an elevated rapid transit station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, served by SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line. It is located on Frankford Avenue between Ruan and Church streets in the Frankford neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia. The station was originally named Ruan–Church station, and it is also served by SEPTA City Bus routes 3 and 5.

The John Ruan House is a historic mansion in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1796 as the home of Dr. John Ruan (June 9, 1771, St. Croix, West Indies – July 2, 1845, Bristol, Pennsylvania), a physician and community leader. The 2½-story house, the oldest of its size and stature still standing in Frankford, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It was added to the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places on January 3, 1985.It has been continuously occupied since its erection and is now the home of the Grand Army of the Republic Civil War Museum and Library. The museum houses Civil War and Grand Army of the Republic artifacts, books, and memorabilia, and is open Sundays from 12 to 5 p.m. and Tuesdays from 12 noon to 4 p.m.. Other days are by appointment.

John Marshall Elementary School is a historic elementary school located in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is part of the School District of Philadelphia. The building was designed by Henry deCourcy Richards and built in 1909–1910. It is a three-story, five-bay by three-bay, brick building on a raised basement in the Colonial Revival style. It has a three-story, rear brick addition built in 1922. It features a pedimented cornice, brick parapet, projecting central section, and a two-story arched opening above the main entrance. The school was named for Chief Justice John Marshall. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Comly Rich House is a historic house in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, notable as the first home in the United States financed by a savings and loan association, the Oxford Provident Building Society, founded 1831. To buy the house, which cost $500, Rich, variously described as a lamplighter or a maker of combs, received a loan of $375 in April 1831 from the Oxford Provident Building Association, founded the same year. The two-and-a-half-story house, built around 1826, still stands at 4276 Orchard Street. It was listed on the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places in 1960.

The Historical Society of Frankford is a historical society and museum is a 501(c)3 corporation located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is located in the Frankford neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia. It was a founding member of the Pennsylvania Federation of Historical Societies. The society was organized in 1905, and chartered in 1920, for the purpose of promoting historical study, especially the social history and traditions of Frankford and vicinity. Purchases are made with the general society fund; outright gifts only are acceptable. The society is housed in a two-and one-half story, fireproof, stone, brick, and steel building, constructed in 1930. Space of manuscripts is adequate.

Frankford (Preparative) Friends Meeting House is a historic Quaker meeting house in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Its oldest parts having been built in 1775–1776, it is significant as the oldest surviving meeting house in Philadelphia. Located at the corner of Unity and Waln Streets, it is now used also as a community center.

William W. Axe School is a historic school building located in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was designed by Lloyd Titus and built in 1903–1904. It is a two-story, three-bay, stone building on a raised basement in the Colonial Revival style. It has a one-story, rear brick addition. It features stone lintels and sashes and a projecting center section with gable.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It is currently home to the Northeast Frankford site of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia.

Arrott Transportation Center is an elevated rapid transit station and bus station serving SEPTA's Market–Frankford Line and City Bus routes. It is located at the intersection of Frankford Avenue, Oxford Avenue, Arrott Street, Paul Street, and Margaret Street in the Frankford neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The terminal was originally known by two separate names, Margaret–Orthodox station for the Market–Frankford Line and Arrott Bus Terminal for bus routes. SEPTA bus and trackless trolley service include routes 3, 5 (Front St./Market St.-Frankford T.C.), 59 (Arrott T.C.-Castor Ave./Bustleton Ave.), 75 Arrott T.C.-Wayne Junction, 89 (Front St./Dauphin St.), J (Wissahickon Ave./Chelten Ave-Bridesburg), and K East Falls-Arrott T.C.

Northeast Catholic High School opened in 1926 as Northeast Catholic High School for Boys, and was located at 1842 Torresdale Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was under the administration of the high school system of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia and its sports teams participated in the Philadelphia Catholic League. During its history, at one point, it had the largest student body of any Catholic boys school in the world, and today it is known for having the largest number of all-male alumni of any high school in the world. Northeast Catholic followed the Salesian tradition, which means that "North's" priests followed in the footsteps of Saint Francis de Sales in their day-to-day actions and mission statement. The school closed permanently in June 2010.

Erie–Torresdale station is an elevated rapid transit station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, served by the SEPTA Market–Frankford Line. It is located at the intersection of Kensington, Erie, and Torresdale avenues in the Juniata neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia. The station is also served by SEPTA City Bus routes 3 and 56, both of which are former trolley lines.
