Bloomingdale's Inc. is an American luxury department store chain; it was founded in New York City by Joseph B. and Lyman G. Bloomingdale in 1861. A third brother of both, Emanuel Watson Bloomingdale, was also involved in the business. It became a division of the Cincinnati-based Federated Department Stores in 1930 under then-president Samuel Bloomingdale.In 1994, the Macy's department store chain joined the Federated Department Stores holding company. In 2007, Federated Department Stores was renamed Macy's, Inc. As of July 31, 2022, there are 55 stores (57 boxes) including 33 department stores (35 boxes, all full line), 1 Bloomies, 1 furniture/other store and 20 outlet stores (There are a total of 36 stores) with the Bloomingdale's nameplate in operation throughout the United States. Its headquarters and flagship store are located at 59th Street and Lexington Avenue in the New York City borough of Manhattan.

The 59th Street station was a local station on the demolished IRT Third Avenue Line in Manhattan, New York City. It was built on September 16, 1878. The local trains used two tracks and two side platforms. The center track was built as part of the Dual Contracts and was used for express trains. Due to its location along the east side of the headquarters for Bloomingdale's, the station was also known as "Bloomingdale's Station." The station was also the first rapid transit stop in the city to have an escalator, installed in September 1901. This station closed on May 12, 1955, with the ending of all service on the Third Avenue El south of 149th Street.

The Magic Towne House was a magic show spot on three floors at 1026 Third Avenue, north of 60th Street, New York City, in the 1970s and 1980s. It was a venue for adults in the cabaret as well as having a children's theater for patrons of all ages to see and enjoy magic.

Ithaka Harbors, Inc. is a US not-for-profit organization whose stated mission is to "help the academic community use digital technologies to preserve the scholarly record and to advance research and teaching in sustainable ways". It is the parent company of digital library website JSTOR, the digital preservation service Portico, and the research and consulting group Ithaka S+R. Ithaka was founded in 2003 by Kevin M. Guthrie. Ithaka's revenue was $86 million in 2014, most of it ($69 million) from JSTOR service fees.

The Bodley Gallery was an art gallery in New York City, from the late 1940s through the early 1980s. The Bodley specialized in contemporary and modern art. David Mann was director of the gallery during its heyday and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Braun (a.k.a. Georgie Duffee), were the owners.

Serendipity 3, often written Serendipity III, is a restaurant located at 225 East 60th Street, between Second and Third avenues in New York City, founded by Calvin L Holt Patch Caradine and Stephen Bruce in 1954. It also served as a boutique that sold one-of-a-kind fashion and artistic items and hosted famous artists and popular culture figures. The restaurant has been the scene of several films, including the 2001 romantic comedy Serendipity. American singer and actress Selena Gomez has an ownership stake in the restaurant. There was also a Serendipity location in Westport,Connecticut.

Trump Plaza is a 36-story cooperative apartment and retail building at 167 East 61st Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City. The property, designed by Philip Birnbaum and named after Donald Trump, opened in 1984 at a cost of $125 million.

The Treadwell Farm Historic District is a small historic district located on parts of East 61st and East 62nd Street between Second and Third Avenues, in the Upper East Side neighborhood of the borough of Manhattan in New York City. Designated by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission on December 13, 1967, making it one of the first historic districts in the city, it is primarily made up of three- and four-story brownstone residences constructed in the middle- to late- 19th century. It also includes the Church of Our Lady of Peace, Trinity Baptist Church, and several turn-of-the-century apartment buildings, and is notable for the general uniformity of the heights of the houses and the style of the architecture, as well as the overall character and charm of the neighborhood.

The Lexington Avenue/59th Street station (signed as 59th Street–Lexington Avenue) is a New York City Subway station complex shared by the IRT Lexington Avenue Line and the BMT Broadway Line. It is located at Lexington Avenue between 59th and 60th Streets, on the border of Midtown and the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The station complex is the fourteenth-busiest in the system, with over 21 million passengers in 2016.It is served by the 4, 6, and N trains at all times, the W train on weekdays, and the 5 and R trains at all times except late nights. In addition, the <6> express train stops here during weekdays in peak direction. A free out-of-system MetroCard/OMNY transfer is available to the 63rd Street Lines (F and Q trains, as well as rush-hour N and R trains) by exiting the station and walking to the Lexington Avenue–63rd Street station.

731 Lexington Avenue is a 1,345,489 sq ft (125,000.0 m2) mixed-use glass skyscraper on Lexington Avenue, on the East Side of Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Opened in 2004, it houses the headquarters of Bloomberg L.P. and as a result, is sometimes referred to informally as Bloomberg Tower. The building also houses retail outlets, restaurants and 105 luxury condominiums. The residence section of the building is known as One Beacon Court and is served by a separate entrance.731 Lexington Avenue is a 55-story building with a roof height of 806 ft (246 m). As of July 2022, it is the 40th-tallest building in New York City and the 85th-tallest building in the United States.The building occupies the former site of an Alexander's department store and is owned by the Alexander's real estate investment trust, the successor to the defunct retail chain.

The ImaginAsian was a movie theater in midtown Manhattan, New York City, dedicated to exclusively showcasing Asian and Asian American films. Located on 59th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, The ImaginAsian was owned by ImaginAsian Entertainment, which also operates ImaginAsian TV (a 24/7 cable network), ImaginAsian Radio, and iaLink, an online e-zine. All films shown at The ImaginAsian are in their original language and subtitled for English-speaking audiences. The ImaginAsian primarily showcases Asian films, including Japan, China, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea and the Philippines, as well as Asian American films from the United States. New box-office hits and independent films are shown alongside lesser-known classic titles. It also hosts several film festivals, including the New York Asian Film Festival and the New York Filipino Film Festival. The ImaginAsian was housed in a completely renovated Clearview Cinemas location, which was formerly known as the DW Griffith Theater. The theatre was acquired by Phoenix Cinemas, until they closed the location in 2014.
